Its QUIET & LESS BUSY late at night! Supposed to be relaxing. WHY DONT YOU FOCUS ON CUSTOMER SERVICE INSTEAD OF HUNTING FOR CROOKS? LONG TIME CUSTOMER SAME AS THIEVES? FFS u all smell of BO 6 meters away. Ever smell ur pits OR BODIES? Use Antipersperant! DEODORANT DOES NOTHING! EAT CLEAN DRINK WATER FFS! HAVE A BATH! HYGEINE AT WORKPLACES IS IMP WHEN HANDLING FOOD AND MEDS! U WANT TO SMELL LIKE ROTTEN FISH? STAY HOME & BREATHE DEEP IF YOU FEEL JUDGED OR DISCRIMINATED! CUSTOMERS HAVE THE RIGHT TO ENJOY SHOPPING/ SPENDING MONEY AND FEEL SAFE AND RESPECTED!

VISIT 1: For treating innocent shoppers (profiling) like thieves monitoring some more than others at self check out or late evenings or day shopping based on speculation and stereotyping them is tempting class action ls. Treating shoppers with scowls, snickering, mockery, creating drama, dirty looks and gossiping whilst deciding they are guilty as a cross departmental 'attack' verbally and nonverbally is despicable. Learn from Shoppers Drug Mart - they lost customers. Today in particular I asked if she was going to stare at me the entire time like Im a crook for 2 x-large and 3 medium sized items at self checkout and she said yes - shame on you for profiling people of your own culture. Also the store sections HARDLY EVER PICKUP the phone and when they do, they do not want to help customers - why call it customer service? Transferring the phone line to people who dont pick up is useless as well. When asking for detailed help they say vague answers and that it will take a long time if they transfer your call - basically its saying we dont want to help.

UPDATE: Bunch of new reviews perfect scores and pics (marketing by the store obviously). Electronics:

Bought 2 boxes of 4 cameras for home security (Geeni brand - whereby Merkury is the parent company) direct from Walmart Canada. I had bought several of their older model cameras prior and set up and worked ok for the most part except for some issues and had long USB cables. On Wednesday May 24/23 last contact by phone with support team (Donna). Sent emails with photos of upside down usb, camera light issue, receipt, video, etc they requested prior with details on problems (at manufacturing stage) and all including more emails requesting followup were ignored. Other attempt to speak to another support team person did nothing and last one decided without referring to emails/or situation to send an email saying no help is possible due to warranty finished 1 yr ago. This is a good excuse since they should be recalling their products which are defective or like mine not set up (mine reads codes out like "camera start" and "reconfigure network" and others as well as does not work or film or have indication lights or app connecting. The manufacturer is using a malfunctioning chip or set up in assembly line is incorrect because the USB cables are upside down so it films upside down as well! From reading the BBB complaints in USA whether on or off warranty the Merkury Innovations company does not give recalls, refunds or replacements on products and has a ghost warranty and developer company with a few support team members (Donna, Ervin, Meghan for eg) only who are in the Phillipines. They ignore you, pretend to help and keep referring to a ghost warranty and development area which dont exist. They should have products recalled before customer finds issues. Mine was new in box for 1 yr until I needed it and opened it to use and its not put together even properly. No refund, no replacement and no recall for this new style camera which has a SHORT usb cable 1 ft.and is useless anyhow. Refund requested $121 or replacement if not able to refund.

Today, when I wanted to enter this store, I noticed the security guard checks and looks into the bags of employees while they're leaving the store at the end of the working shift. The guard explained that management ordered employees to show their stuff while exiting.
Perhaps management thinks that just because these people are minimum wage employees, the frequency of shoplifting between them is higher than other customers. Most of these people are new emigrants with student or foreign worker status who struggle with high rent and living expenses. Walmart should support its employees instead of humiliating and discriminating them in front of the other customers.
I know this treatment happened about 2 years ago in this store, but they stopped it due to employees and public pressure.
I believe it's customers' and society's responsibility to react against this misbehavior.

Today I went shopping in Walmart North Vancouver. Apparently there is new management that are poor in experience and customer service. Priced packages of minced beef at $3.99 Each, but at the cashier they asked for almost $10. Wasting the time and distracting all customers.

I always go Walmart since the atmosphere is really nice and friendly. I like to say thank you to all associates for making this store a great place for us. Also Marziyeh in customer service was really cheerful and helpful to me

Pamneet is one awesome person for this store, today she went out if her way to help me find something that I saw in the store a few days ago. The items had been moved, one lazy store employee told me they are sold out, But Pamneet took me to it. Sh is the greatest! Thanks

Great location and great variety of products. They sell Fresca soda, while other Walmarts don't, for example. Parking is fairly available usually. Great working hours

Good variety and selection of products, plus good prices. The only problem I see is, there is nobody in the isles to ask a question. Hard to find a clerk in some of the departments.

This branch has gone to the dogs - a lot of shelves are empty; seldom restocked on a regular basis; when fresh produce is being restocked (usually only dairy products; meats) staff are all over the area with huge crates restocking groceries while shoppers are trying to shop. They are inconsiderate, rude, messy and disrespectful. Why do all that during shopping hours? Extremely disappointing. Not a pleasant shopping experience anymore; no longer a 1-stop-shop.

I used to go there for grocery shopping. The staff are mostly polite, except the store manager, who is a lady with long curly black hair. She is so aggressive and disrespectful toward customers. I asked her something but she yelled at me and left. I am so sorry for Walmart to have such a hostile manager!

3/5 stars Convenience all in a one stop shop? Almost every time I go, the shelves are empty. Or the last item is left. They really need to expand their dedicated parking lot. However as frustrating as it is to literally fight for a parking spot at the front. They have *some* good staff that actually help. And then there’s staff that don’t seem to care less about helping. Prices are always good. I notice it is usually the most busy during mid day and the afternoon. If you want a shopping cart, make sure you have a dollar.

I have seen many, many Walmarts in North America. I have never seen any of them so not clean. Washrooms are the symbol of cleanness in a place. Doesn't matter business or home. But when it is a business, it is related to public health specially in this specific time which we all are very careful about disinfectant. I was really surprised when I entered in the washroom and saw the place so dirty which I did not dare to enter. But then I thought I have to video this and ask North Vancouver City how they allow wallmart be open in this condition while all other businesses Tring to keep all their environment as clean as possible. I will try to post the video if I can't will post pictures of the video.

Good grocery selection, but so small, shelves are empty! I found grapes in 2 different places, peppers in different places. People, we want same foods together, not make us choose this one then find the others and then choose again?

The worst treat from a store you can get it from Walmart.
I wasn't able to do my shopping and I had to go to another store because they couldn't change some money so I couldn't get a coin for the cart.
Also they didn't had any tokens either, they just advised me to go in the store to buy something to get some change to get the cart.
I tried to talk with the manager but his response was to stay on hold, in my face, just ignored me, was really frustrating.

If there is a zero star option, I would choose that. This is my worst experience in my life so far.
I went there today to buy a lego set which I searched specifically online and this store is the only store that has it in stock. This is urgent since it's for a gift. I understand their inefficient system and staffs may not update their inventory online, so I thought just to check out if they really have the item.

When I checked the lego section and did not see the item, I asked a staff nearby where else should I look. He said impatiently that if it's not here, they don't have it. I told him that it says in stock online and if he can check their system for me. He entered half the name, without even entering the full name of the product, and told me they don't have it.

So I went to customer service and asked another staff the same question and ask if she could check their inventory in the system. She replied that she can't check it. So I asked who was able to help me. This lady points her finger to the corner and said there's someone who can help me. I asked who because I had no idea who she was pointing. Again, her attitude was incredibly rude and told me "that lady" could help.

At the end, the lady wearing a black shirt helped me. She found the item right away by entering the FULL NAME of the item. It was in another area of the store.

So what exactly are the duties of staffs in customer service? Giving customers attitude and not helping?

Walmart Capilano Mall needs improvement. The staff member refused to give a cart because I didn't have a coin although I am already in and with lots of products in my hands. Any questions are answered with rudeness and lack of interest unless you have some similarities.

This is the dirtiest Walmart I have been in. The bathrooms are very dirty and smell bad. We were here yesterday and again this morning and the washrooms were not even cleaned over night.

I was at North Vancouver store on July 3,2021, I bought a bag of carrots, when I came home I noticed all carrots were rotten and moulded, same day At 8pm returned the product to store instead I bought some cherries on way to check out there were five Iranian staff in their stations one was involved with my check out the other four speaking Farsi and laughing loud without any respect for other fellow citizens, as Iranian person I was ashamed with their disrespect to wards people who were there and wondering what they are talking and laughing about, don’t they have a break time to talk to each other, no manager was around to observing them and say something.
I decided to bring this matter up, I hope somebody will look in to it.

If the product is in stock it's on the shelf if it's not the staff are not trained how to find the product in any way shape or form either in this store or any other store. Lots of i don't know how to find this and i don't know where to look.

Costumer services is unprofessional this evening i went to by grocery after I picked up evening waiting for cashier i left my cart i went to Costumer services asked for mask because the one I had i could not breathe through it she asked me to pay for it it's $1 I told her I want to pay all together because they charge me for my transactions he didn't gave me start yelling and she said she want to go talk to the manager and left me there and I got upset I left what I don't know i think she's thinking she's in India i hope Walmart train workers better especially in customer service.

This is the worst stocked Walmart I've ever been to. Maybe even the worst stocked store I've ever been to. This is my local store so I've visited often and the inventory clearly isn't being managed well.

I bought a toy car for my child online, paid a lot of money and after a long wait we received an item, Costway car which was much smaller than it was specified online. I picked it up at the North Vancouver location, when I wanted to return it a few days after receipt, they refused to take it back as the item was MORE THAN 150 DOLLARS AND BELONGED TO A THIRD PARTY COMPANY who sells their goods online through WALMART. CA. I was speechless, upset and very disappointed.started arguing with their front team, didn't do any good so I talked to their Customer Service Manager, who didn't do a different job than the others at the front. Oh My.they could not even tell me the RETURN PROCEDURE, NOR ANY OF THEM CALLED THEIR BACK OFFICE TO FIND OUT. ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND SO MUCH LACK OF KNOWLEDGE.

WALMART was quick in taking my money online, they were also happy to bill me for that, they delivered this item to their store and handed it to me. WELL, WHEN THE CUSTOMER IS UNHAPPY WITH A PRODUCT THAT WAS WRONGLY ADVERTISED, THEY ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE

also when I called their customer service team on the phone, on the number their manager gave me, , well NOT MUCH DIFFERENCE. They keep telling me they need to escalate this issue, NO ONE TELLS ME WHAT THE RETURN PROCEDURE IS. VERY VERY VERY. SAD, DISAPPOINTED, DISTURBED AND STRESSED about their lack of customer service. WILL NEVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM AGAIN. WASTE OF MY VALUABLE TIME. I HAD TO SHARE THIS FOR OTHERS TO KNOW HOW IRRESPONSIBLE THEY ARE.

I am writing this to give recognization to Jill the cashier, today was a busy late afternoon and she was doing her job, running cash and making small convo with customers. Then her coworker, a younger girl I did not catch the name of, started loudly yelling in front of all of us customers "Come on Jill come on move move there's a huge line" very rudely, embarrassing your coworker like that in public is gross and I overheard Jill being nothing but nice and even after that did not let it get to her. I would have lost it if someone spoke to me like that on the floor - regardless how stressful us customers don't need to see that. Go Jill, keep up the good work.

Worst customer service ever. They will not honor their return policy even with a receipt and gave me a bs excuse about the item being “final sale” even though nothing is stated on their website or in store about it. Very disappointed by their dishonesty!

Card reading machine doesn't work! I tried my Amex and debit, both didn't work and two of my friends had the same experience. You should change all the card readers.

Walmart is very different compared to a decade ago where you have staff that were truly nice and helpful.

These days, you get staff that seems to avoid customers, security that acts like prison guards and baskets that are dirty.

I even saw a worker who opened a bottle of lotion, poured some out, closed it and put it back on the shelf. His dry hands were more important, never mind the hygiene issue or that the customer would get a used product.

You can definitely see the change in management and the result of those changes.

Ordered some blankets for xmas gifts, notified that our order was ready to pick up so went to the store to do so. Upon arriving they told us that the they couldn't find the blankets. Told to come back the next day, tried to call countless times with no answer or getting hung up on. Went back to the store 3 days later, same story and they said the person who receives items is know by the delivery drivers so they just sign his name and drop it by the door. Called head office and they said they would call the store to find out about the items. They wont even answer calls from them either. Dont waste your time or money at the photo shop here.
