Another way of cheating customers!
I purchased 3 milk this morning for my kids one time BC crf & deposit already charged, but if you can see the receipt attached they charged again twice.
And when asked their customer service they don’t know nothing about it.
What a shame

Yesterday i unfortunately had an experience with an employee and the name i was given for her was HARSIMRAN around 6pm, I went to customer centre for what i thought would be a simple return, i didn't even bring my purse, just my debit card and phone and had my daughter and husband waiting in the car. When it was my turn i put receipt and a hockey puck sized hair product on counter and told her that i bought it last evening and when i got home and opened product there was finger swipe as if someone scooped product out and i showed it to her. Immediately she says, you didn't check it before you brought it with a demeanor like, you didn't do what you were supposed to do, blaming me. I took offense and was taken aback, i told her i don't go to businesses opening their products unless I'm in produce or clothing department, i just grab and go if product is packaged. What i should've said was, because i trust and have expectations when i walk into walmart that the products will be in good quality condition and you should be following your training and walmart's high standards and protocol when dealing with customer issues. I mentioned that i was in retail myself thinking she would understand why i wouldn't have a habit of opening a business's items but nop, she was still going back and front with me, i immediately asked for a manager seeing her mentality, on what planet do you go back and front with a customer in retail over a simple issue? Thankfully a supervisor came and i explained to her same thing and how i was dismayed at the employees' approach, standing near by the employee again had same attitude and worst part was when she grabbed the product i brought and said, this product doesn't have clear plastic seal on it so it could've been opened and checked and that her question of but why didn't you open and check it when i was buying it was because she wanted to determine whether there was a possibility that I did it! I was done with her, i look behind me, there's more customers behind, my husband and daughter are waiting in car, it's Friday and I'm looking forward to weekend, i took a deep breath, i immediately shut down interacting with her and told her i would continue on with the supervisor from here! HARSIMRAN you do not deserve to wear a walmart vest, you don't represent walmart or this walmart location i have been shopping at since 1996, you didn't follow or value your walmart training. You do not understand the typical walmart customer who is loyal and trusts walmart. And it sounds like you don't know the pain and didn't pay your dues in retail if you suggested or encouraged a customer should open products not caring about the early morning staff that set up everything or the loss to walmart for tampered with products or loss prevention who would be seeing people unsealing products. When a customer walks into walmart, they are your guest, you failed me and the yellow vest you were wearing, it was because of a person with your mentality who thinks it's okay to open products or dip their finger in that i was standing in front of you, inconvenienced and disappointed and all you had to do was follow your great walmart training to aid me not your individual judgment!

I ordered some posters at and paid for them by 4pm, the lady said it was going to take 30 minutes so I came after an hour and she said she printed it wrong. Then I asked another lady when will my posters be ready and she said one more hour. I had already been waiting for 2 hours by now. I came back again an hour later to find out my posters still weren’t printed properly, which was very frustrating. I did get them but I was waiting for 3 hours.:/

I feel like all Walmarts have gone down they drain. They look like hobo stores the way they switched everything around when it was already organized perfectly. Customer service sucks over the phone and in person and everything is over priced. The billions Walmart makes from us I would think they would do better.

Garbage Walmart, use to be great.

Now it’s understaffed, and the only staff there don’t know anything and try to dodge customers.

Drove here just to waste my time and relocate to another shop.

Today, I was at this Walmart @ 230pm and saw a mouse running around the cashier 17. I told the Walmart staff at customer service, she took no initiative to inquire. I hope the manager will take action reading this review.

Customer service of this walmart in totally inappropriate. Everyone is so rude and nobody take cares of customer. I think i know much far better than the electronics department. They have no knowledge and no they don’t know how to deal with a customer.

Store #3098 is the worst Walmart location I have experienced worlwide. Mangers are never available, students promoted as supervisors, they even do not understand what customer service is, loss prevention person found stealing products from shelf couple of times. I think walmart no longer believe in customer service.

Recently had a very bad experience with bunch of these above mentioned unprofessionals, who were given command to manage customer service, unfortunately none of them know how to deal with situations and customers.

We had purchased a pair of shoes (Walmart Brand), unfortunately I lost the receipt. Believing Walmart will exchange the shoe with smaller size as it's their own brand, they refused to do so without receipt. On my repeatedly requesting that it's just a size change not a return, they still refused it. I showed them the transaction record on my credit card account and gave them date and time to pull the record. After noting down my details and credit card details (number) they say it will take them couple of days to pull the receipt. This sounded weird to me and I asked the girl to return the paper where she noted down my details, she said she tore the paper and threw it in garbage, I am prettymuchsure she didn't. Upon asking for manager, another girl (Simran) came up and introduced herself as manager, I have been shopping in this store for almost 7 years and know that she is just a supervisor not a manager. She started arguing with me for this and called the security guy as if I was doing a criminal activity. Whereas they themselves had bad intentions of not returning my details back to me. Instead of this security guy help me getting this resolved, asked me to leave the store.

I left the store and decided to check if other Walmart give me same reply or not, surprisingly they exchanged the shoe without even asking for receipt.

My biggest concern is if those three thieves don't misuse my credit card.

Hope this wakes up Management to take necessary actions to bring customers trust back otherwise Walmart will land up in same boat as Target, Zellers, Sears.etc ended up.

Probably one of the worst stocked Walmart I have ever shopped at. Staff look like they don't want to be there and their general attitude will be quite obvious. Not sure why, but the selection of foods seems to be lower than other locations as well. I would avoid unless you live nearby or have no choice.

EDIT: It's Aug 16,2021 and I purchased Delivery Services. They literally dumped the groceries on the building hallway's floor. Nobody called, nobody buzzed. I accidentally realised only 2 hours later. Dogs were sniffing my food. All frozen items had been partially defrost. All refrigerated items were warm. So it continues to be 2 star for now.

I don't feel safe in the store. Too many people ignoring social distancing protocols such as not keeping 2m distance, not using masks, walking the aisles the wrong way.

A lady who was at the customer service at this walmart was very rude. I needed a receipt reprint for an earphone i bought from the store just a day before. She told me we don’t do despite the fact that the same store did a few months ago. I requested to speak with the supervisor and she told the supervisor something i couldn’t hear and then the supervisor told me the same as she said that they don’t do receipt reprint. The other walmart stores will only ask the last four digits of the card you used and they date you made the purchase. I believe the lady did on purpose for reasons i can’t understand but i won’t do my shopping again at this store.

Bought something from here in May of 2021 because we were moving into our new place. After moving, realized that we did not need the said items and wanted to return them but lost the receipt. I used to work at Wal-Mart from 2013-2016, and I remembered that you could return merchandise without the receipt as they could look up your transaction!

So anyways, we went to the customer service desk in July of 2021 to return these items. The CSM on call had attitude from the moment that I spoke to her. She told me that was not the policy and to show her on my phone where I read it. I told her that I went to the 88 ave Walmart a few days prior and they were ready to process the return but then realized they couldn't do it as I had bought the merchandise from this location.

Obviously I couldn't find this policy as it appears they had changed it since the previous year. Okay no problem, they may have changed it. My bad. I'm sure that she could've still helped me out by looking up the transaction. Why was the 88 Ave location ready to return my items but you couldn't? She then tells me that I can leave my contact info and she can call accounting to see if any transaction exists. With the same miserable attitude. No one ever contacted me.

It was about $35 worth of items, which is fine now I guess. But, just keep in mind that if you don't have the receipt and need to return something that this location will NOT try to help you. Life happens and we lose things, but no need to give someone so much attitude because of it.

Store is spacious and you can find almost everything here. The layout of the store is standardized like you normally find Walmart store of this size in North America.
Negative about this store is that it’s tough to find any store person for help if you have questions related to any item or looking for aisles where you can locate the product you are interested in.
Their garden center is also closed for long time now.

Aside from being American and value village thrift store owned by them tooo. Wal-Mart offers great prices and deals better than Canadian Superstores lablaws unfortunately. Wal-Mart tries to offer more to Canadian consumers than Canadian businesses.

Lady with sanitary napkins at the front entrance is so rude. I had to ask for a napkin she served people right in front of me and turned her head sideways. Wen I asked for a napkin she pointed to the hand sanitize. I had a cart!
I am a senior, but look younger, bad example in front of my 18yr old.

Prices on select items are good. Such as the Persil Laundry detergent (if you buy other brands you need to do some research!) Alternative milks and condiments. Avocados sometimes are a great deal if under $. 95/Avocado.

The downside is the demographics at this location, safety and cleanliness.

I went into Walmart today with my husband and my 2 children. As we were getting near the store I realized that I had accidentally forgotten my mask. As we got into the store an employee named Mona instantly threw her hand at me and told me to leave. I explained to her that I had forgotten my mask and asked her if I could please have one. She responded with no I'm not giving you one leave the store right now. I explained to her that it was a honest mistake and I have received masks from them before and she still fought with me. I then asked if it was ok for me to purchase one before I did my shopping and she rudely said no and told me to leave. I told her she can't do that and she responded with I'm getting the manager and calling the cops. After the manager came to speak to us Mona proceeded to go bash me to other customers claiming I was an anti masker and I was refusing to wear one which in turn caused several customers to yell at me and call me down. After talking to the manager she gave me a mask and then apologized saying that some people refuse to wear them but if a customer accidentally forgets their mask it's their job to give them one. We proceeded to go shopping afterwards and as we were leaving we noticed Mona was back at the front continuing to talk down about me and my family. Walmart did nothing to this woman who felt the need to treat myself and my family like we were trash for an honest mistake. I don't recommend going here as the employees are horrible and they have horrible customer service. About a month ago another employee screamed at my young son for his mask falling below his nose. This Walmart needs to learn how to treat people and need to deal with their employees properly when they treat paying customers like garbage. I will be reporting this to the Canadian charter of rights and freedom as well as the human Rights act. This is unacceptable.

I actually don't like Walmart. Sometimes when I go to the gildford mall, I just stop by. I don't go often unless there's a big sale. The reason is the unkindness of the employees and the crowded, dirty state of the store. Today, I stopped by Wal-Mart to buy a game pack that my child wants without much expectation. Unlike my desire to buy a game pack quickly and go out, the part that sells electronic devices renewed, so I couldn't find the location of the game pack. But I didn't want to ask the staff. This was because I knew how insincere they would be and how obvious they would answer my questions. I went to the staff and said, "Excuse me, I'm sorry. I don't have anything I'm looking for, can I know where it is? " She smiled at me and said, "Let's find out what you're looking for with me. Sometimes it's hard to see because there's a mixture. " 'oh my God! '

I was really embarrassed and sorry in my heart. I guess her to be say as other employees always say, "If it's not there, it's not there, " or "go to part another, That's all there is to it. ". But i not correct. But she gave me an answer that I hadn't heard from Walmart employees in 7 years and I was truly surprised. Of course I know. How busy employees are and how many people they meet and deal with. It must be hard and stressful. But they also need to know that they shouldn't release it to customers. A dry answer and a lazy answer are unpleasant to the customer unless you experience it. I felt how considerate she was in her answer and in her voice. It was amazing. She knelt on the ground, bowed down on the shelf and searched hard for a $30 game pack for the little girl. And she gave me a lot of explanations. It was like the kindness and service I received when I bought a bag at a luxury store with my husband. I really wanted to remember her name. So I asked her for an excuse and took a picture of her name tag. I appreciate it.   I saw Wal-Mart employees and Wal-Mart again. Thank you for her heart, service and kindness that made the $30 game pack look like $3,000 luxury goods. "ANJANI" that is her name. You are so wonderful person!

I find this place the most useless place to shop due to the people who work there. I had to push a shopping cart in front of one staff member to get their attention. I also ran across four staff talking to ask for help and got oh it over in that direction. When I went to buy a fitbit watch knowing nothing about whether it would fit I got sorry we don't open the box and if you buy the watch there is no returning the watch. In fact I got more help from a customer shopping there than anyone in the store.

The workers at the Guilford Town Center Walmart self-checkout area, and customer service area are really doing a great job in keeping the area moving, clean, and safe. I know it's a bit crazy right now, but they sure work hard. They should all be commended of some sort, for their efforts, safety, and attention to detail.

To customers who are planning to RETURN/EXCHANGE items from either Electronics and Cosmetics at this Walmart. I've been a returning customer at this Walmart, but I want to let other customers know about this strange policy they have.

BEFORE RETURNING (if you have an item that is Electronics or Cosmetic related), you have to VISIT their departments - depending on your item - to get approval/throughly check your items, before you can line-up and return at their Customer Service.

It's strange, and it's inconvenient to customers who are taking their time of day to get chores done. There's no notice posted about this sudden change. They will refuse any service if you don't get approval from either department. They didn't give any notice or any reason to why when I visited today.

This location has also been inconsistent of keeping their Policies in line, and it's annoying since they never follow their own Walmart policy that's stated online.

If you're there to shop quickly, no problems there. If you plan to take your time and/or planning to return items, be mindful because they can deny anything you ask politely.

TLDR; If you are returning any Electronics or Cosmetic-related items, walk to their departments for a throughout check. Or else, you will be refused any service at Customer Service, if you walk there first.

I don't feel safe shopping here. I went to get ONE thing and literally everyone ignored safety protocols that are put in place. I wish the rules were more strict. I also waited so long to pay at the pharmacy and was pretty much ignored for awhile.

I ordered grocery online and they forgot the most important item which is the milk. Had to agree with the bad reviews about ordering online. I thought it’s more convenient but turns out I still need to go out of the house and buy what we need. Hope it won’t happen again as I plan to keep ordering grocery online in the future.

I had horrible experience in photo shoot. It’s has been almost 3 months, I didn’t receive any pictures. I viewed pictures which are Poor quality pictures.now they offer me reshoot I need 7 months photo shoot of my baby but now my baby is almost 11months.i will never go to Walmart studio where they treat you bad.i will just say don’t waste your time with them.

before you see me as a karen please read the rest of this.when i was at walmart today, i noticed some star wars figures on the sale shelf.i took them to the price check mechine and scanned them. I was suprised to see that the 2 figures are only $2 each since they are usually $25 to $30.i was suprised but the boxes looked pretty beat up and maybe even returned so i didnt really suspect anything.as i took the to the self checkout, they had no problem scanning but i needed help to activate my gift card. A helper came by but when he saw the price, he said they weren't that price and they weren't on sale.i was super confused because they didnt even have like a wrong tag or something as I scanned them using their original printed label. (there wasn't even one of those yellow discount tags) Then he said that they were marked wrong price and forcibly took them out of my hand.i didnt say anything and just walked out. I just want to say that i know that sometimes the discount price tages are misplaced to someone changed it but this, this is their own problem typing in the price since i scanned them using their original label printed on the box.i also want to add that first, the helpers weren't that nice and also that practically no one was practicing social distancing.even the workers didn't.please note this to improve your experience shopping at this walmart.

In and out. New self check needs work. When the weight of the product you purchase is very light it won't always register you put in bag. Waited longer for that than my entire trip in.

Employees are helpful and store is clean and in good condition. Shoppers on the other hand are very questionable. Had a woman screaming obscenities in the store in front of multiple children because she was accused of theft. Although this is a great store I would recommend staying away unless necessary because of the location and people who generally go to any Walmart.

Its always busy I mean it's a wall mart at a mall. What else is there to say? Lol I do wish they were more organized. It's two floors and I dont want to go upstairs on other end then downstairs on opposite side just to get the few items I need. Organizing would make shopping there much more convenient.

Very poor customer service, employees seem lazy. Slow checkouts and cashier wants you to do their jobs. I’m done with Walmart and their brands. I’ll gladly pay more at Costco for better service and products.
