Very nice exhibits. Displays the evolution of the local culture and First Nations people.

The displays are beautiful and educative.

The area outside the building is beautifully conceived and nicely displayed.

Also, has a children playing park.

Plenty of car parking available at the site.

A magnificent experience. I would like to highlight the great work of the people who work there (especially Denis, his work is impressive) and who make this place the best place in the city to visit.

Like the food. If you eat at the restaurant, you will save the admission for $14/adult.
Parking fee is $5/day.

There are some bisons far from the eyesight. If you can bring a telescope, will be better experience.

Really nice trails with great views of the saskatchewan river valley. Just know that the trails are free to hike and the $14 is the museum fee! We were not made aware of that and we're charged the full museum fee and we didn't even see the museum, an oversight on our part, but some clarity from staff would've been nice. Some wildlife can be easily seen from the trails like ground squirrels, birds and mule deer. Unfortunately the bison were too far away to get a good look

Came to the center on a lovely winter day. Spent four hours enjoying ourselves. Took the tour with Jordan. Very knowledgeable young man, with a wealth of knowledge. Thanks Jordan. Lunch was fabulous!
Exhibitions were well layed out and presented. Outside walks well labeled and easy for self guided tours.

Awesome place! Wonderful exhibits & even better snowshoeing (which is included in the entrance fee). It is soon to be a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We’ll worth the visit any time of year!

I had my wedding here in december, it was the most beautiful reception ever! Thanks to the team at wanuskewin for putting on the most wonderful day, everything went smoothly.the food was TASTY! Smoked white fish and wild rice was DELICIOUS! The staff was so friendly, helpful, and kind. They really helped this day be special. And the fact i was able to have a smudge ceremony INSIDE is the best. And it was actually a very good price! I had 65 people in the Deer Room, it is stunning place to get married. And my international family got to learn about Cree culture by visiting the museum while i was taking photos! Perfect place, thanks so much! Lots of nice places to take photos outside and inside. Since it was such a cold day we needed both options!

I’m visiting Saskatchewan from Orlando, Florida and it was recommend to me to visit Wanuskewin. It wasn’t too crowded. We arrived 15 minutes before the hoop dancer so we’re fortunate to hear him speak beforehand and then perform. It was excellent and I feel fortunate that we arrived when we did. I learned so much from the performance and the museum. The gift shop also has some nice local gifts. The restaurant has a unique menu that includes elk, bison and bannock (which I tried for the first time) and we walked to the observation area where we saw the multiple bison in the distance. I’m so glad that we came by and I would look forward to returning.

I attended a beading workshop and the time flew by. I really enjoyed beading a poppy to commemorate Indigenous veterans.

Great experience. A bit challenging to pay for parking and admission so not sure we can/will return any time soon. The space itself is simply amazing, including the amazing outdoor playground.

I was very moved by the obvious love that went into this place. I arrived shortly after opening, to the wonderful scent of smudge. The architecture of the building really feels like a celebration of this ancient place. The stunning sculpture out front gives you a sense of the hunts that happened uncounted times here, all those years ago. I had a moving and humbling conversation with the young woman in the gift shop; the heart of our indigenous people beats strongly in this place. This really is a must-see if you're in the area.

I was there on a class field trip. My expectations weren't the highest. But when we arrived, I felt a deep connection with this place. It's a sort of natural reserve/ cultural museum, with exhibits about First Nations heritage and history. The atmosphere is solemn and inviting to explore and discover information about the history of Indigenous People.
It can be a moving experience, so be prepared.
On the outside part, you can see the bisons that are taken care of in the property, and the guides can give you a tour and tell you the story about indigenous bison-hunting ways.

It was a good opportunity to learn from an Indigenous person, about the history of her people in Canada. Having an opportunity to see the bissons 'up close' was great too.

Beautiful and a special experience. You leave knowing so much about our Indigenous culture and history of the site. We'll set up with stunning exhibits, walking paths and a cool play area.
