Wascana Centre

Wascana is the place to be in the city as there are always lots of people there. Up-keep is good.

Good place to visit in city. Hava a long walking way around the lake. Pet friendly. Also for cycling. There is a fountain running all time around the day. Good garden. Neat and good place. Can suggest as a Good place to get together in the city.

Really love being at wascana place. The water is always nice and there is so much to see and do. It's a great place to stroll or sit and watch the brids or the kayakers on the lake itself. The legislature building is gorgeous! It's all very picturesque!
Definitely recommend doing a walk around and through the building and gardens.

Came here with my boyfriend, we walked the paved loop.

I absolutely loved it here and wish I had brought my bike! There are wonderful paved paths all along the way for you to enjoy in various modes. There was pedestrians but when we went it wasn’t overly packed or unreasonable. There are picnic areas along the way complete with barbecues to use! This was a nice surprise would love to return and try this out someday.

No garbage to be found on the ground, very clean. No shelters or safety concerns noted.

The jewel of Regina. A beautiful place to spend an afternoon walking, biking, running, or just relaxing for a picnic.

Great place to take a stroll, in general. You might see some people in bushes (iykyk) and the occasional stoners. The park is very beautiful with much to do, just be careful when you're there.

This place is beautiful, magical, and illusory, more than that, the natural scenery, rivers, and lakes here are very poetic. Our family took advantage of the remaining autumn days to visit this Wascana lake and take photos. Furthermore, I see a boating sea, but if everyone wants to discover it, you should wait until next summer and then explore because winter has arrived.

On our visit on 24 July 2021 the place was hosting an East Indian function with around 200 people. The noise created by their loud speakers could be heard for more than a mile as the speakers were installed near a water body. The obnoxious noise ruined the quite calming atmosphere we were hoping for in this otherwise beautiful landscape.

Park leads into major attractions in the city such as the Legislature Building, the Royal Saskatchewan Museum, and many other public accesses such as a rowing club, visitors Centre, etc.

Beautiful park. Only downside is the amount of geese, but that's not controllable. We had to stop our vehicle a few times just to let the geese cross the road

The Wascana Centre is suh a beautiful place. The trails are beautifully kept as are the fountains, and the views of the Legislative Building are inspiring. Make sure to paddle on the lake too as it offers a different view of the landscape. The pelicans are definitely cool to watch!

The geese might steal your kid to feed their own young; there's refuse and goose poop everywhere and the sprinklers only water the side walks, but hey it's outside, and there's water, so I love it.

We didn't make it around the entire park. We plan to return one day to do so. Park is clean and well maintained. Beautiful lake

I love walking around the park. I will be going around at the lake at least seek times summer. Nothing is going to stop me! I love nature, I feel so free.

If you're looking for a nice 4.5 Km waccana lake is wonderful with beautiful spots all around the lake and magnificent art and statues

Nice place and has long walkway. Favourite for cyclists, joggers, and for those who wants spend some relaxing time after tiring day. Serene and refreshing place.

Beautiful! The walkway goes all the way around the "lake", and there's so much to see! Geese, ducks, people. First time here, and I loved it

This is one of the best things that there is in Regina. It is a huge park with trees, grass, a lake, walking and bicycling trails. The highlight is the Legislative Building and grounds right in the park. This is a must see if you are in Regina, Saskatchewan.

Not a bad place I guess the food is not bad I would not want to live here though I have to but if you're injured or hurt bad these guys go above and beyond

Beautiful place to take a walk around Wascana Lake! I also thoroughly enjoyed the Royal Saskatchewan Museum here. So much history to learn about the area and all of Saskatchewan.

All I gotta say is that IT IS BEAAUUUTIFUUULLL! It is a place to take longs walks, relax, canoe, have picnics, and lots more

Beautiful place by the lake and the legislative building. Great for family outings. Only issue was that I haven't seen any public washroom.

Most well kept and laid out public park anywhere for at least 600 km. Too many good events to list and architecture in landscape and buildings too good to not mention.

A very relaxing and tranquil place to unwind, hang out with friends or just go running. In the summer the flowers are very beautiful for family or individual pictures

Enjoy walking around the lake, the resurfaced pathway is awesome. Best intercity park in Canada! There are a lot of events held in the park, great times.

The largest Inner City park in North America! Did you know that? Look it up. It's true! It's beautiful, clean and just a nice Escape in the middle of the city.

Such great people! I came to Regina for the Nationals (canoe /kayak), ended up volunteering, and fell in love with the lake. Amazing walking paths, beautiful fountains, and So many birds! (A few to many, but amazing).

If you have a few hours to spare. Take a walk around the lake. Peaceful and beautiful. Take your bikes, scooter, hover board. Doesn't matter! Well maintained and peaceful.

A really nice walk that I have done many times. Paved all the way so it's still great if you have mobility issues. I don't but see lots out there enjoying the weather and the views.

This place is stunning beautiful views and a lovely resturant over looking the lake. Great walking and biking trails. Well worth a visit

Pretty busy on the main loop, nice and empty otherwise. Some trail users could be more courteous of the people using the trails

It's so beautiful, it's somewhere that I love going just to get out of the "city feel" it doesn't really feel as much as a city to me.

One of the best parks in N. America, but watch out for rude speeding cyclists and skateboarders. Need more police presence there!

I really enjoyed spending time at this park. It was my first time and my sister, who lives in Regina, took us on the walk around Wascana Lake. As it was Canada Day it was pretty busy but would definitely like to go again.

Parks, playgrounds and a pool surround a walking path with a great view of the lake and government building. Play centers and the pool are dated and could stand updating but they are lots of fun and the kids enjoy them.

Such a beautiful park. Each season brings a different look and feel to the area. I love the great views as you walk around the lake. Every time I go to the park I notice something new or different.
