Water's Edge Restaurant and Lounge

We got there and there was 3 other tables with people at them. We had our order taken promptly, our starters were brought out in under 10 minutes. Our main courses however, took well over an hour. We finally asked the waiter what the hold up was as other people had arrived well after us (30 minutes later) and had already received their food. He apologized and said "he held back the order". Not sure what he meant by that. We then asked for our meals to just be packed up at is point because we had a 6 month old baby who was getting tired and hungry after sitting at the table for over an hour. Another 20 minutes go by and we finally got our food to go. My parents however, decided to stay and eat theirs at the restaurant and didn't receive theirs for another 10 minutes after we left. Once they received their meal, their veggies and potato were cold. My husband and I got home and his meal looked child sized. One small scoop of potatoes and one small chicken breast (cordon bleu). He was left feeling hungry after he finished eating. My parents eneded up getting $30 off the meal and did not tip the waiter. The bill was still over $100 and in my eyes was not worth the wait and still not sure what even happened as it was not busy when we arrived. We will not be back. So disappointing.

We have always enjoyed our experiences. All the staff have been good, but especially Boubaker and Pritty

Horrible food. Everything was cold. Steak was full of gristle and barely cooked. Fries were soggy. Pasta had no sauce. Only thing that was mildly ok was the chicken fingers and even those were cold. For $110 McDonald's would have been better. Will never return and definitely not recommend

I was part of the Cupe Ed workers group. I was really impressed with the time the we were there. The service was amazing in all areas. Food was great. Thanks to everyone that works there.

This is the very first time, I have put 1* for a restaurant, but not because of the food quality, it causes by the staff attitude and their service.
The staff had to be in charge of cooking and receiving orders, so she was busy. Surely, customers can empathize. But she kept ignored customers then she went here and there without saying hello or “I’ll be right with you” to people waiting to order that is the basic knowledge.
When she ran my order, she did a double charge on one of meal of my order. And when I figured it out, she told me like that’s my fault without any apology and with very bad attitude.
Not bad, she told me to get my card that she could refund that for me. And yell at me if I need the receipt or not.and she did not mind if I had to re-order or not. I quitted with out re-ordering.
That was very bad experience at this restaurant.
However, I thought the food looked good when she took them to other customers and the pool was fancy with hot/warm mineral water that didn’t make my day too bad.

Would give 5 star however the food needs attention.
First it should be served hot prices high and the flavors were absent.
The best of all was the server Mandy and his side kick Angel who made our experience a fun time. They were excellent and courteous.

We enjoyed excellent service, and the food was delicious. We were aware that they were understaffed like most restaurants and this new era, but they did an amazing job of looking after our group. Not only is the food delicious, but the portions are generous.

Food was great service was amazing! Angel was very professional, checked in at the right times and made sure we were satisfied. He is the best server I’ve ever had at a restaurant!

We recently spent 4days/3nights at the Manitou Springs Mineral Spa and opted for another night/day. We ate at the Water's Edge Restaurant and found the food very good and the prices reasonable. The staff were very good, very friendly, accommodating and made our experiences very enjoyable. Angel (Asst Manager) was excellent and everyone else (other food servers/bussers) were very good as well. My wife and I would recommend this Spa and restaurant.

We had the best waiter, Angel. We had lots of laughs and is a people friendly person. We will ask for him next time we are there.

Richard is a skilled chef who creates sumptuous and attractive meals. Yazid tops off the food experience with excellent service and attention to detail. Thoroughly enjoyed the welcoming environment and great food.

The food is spa pricing but it's very good and decent protons! The service at night was really good he constantly checked up on you making sure you didn't need anything or topping off drinks, during the morning the lady wasn't very good at coming around even if it wasn't that busy, but she was still very friendly! I recommend having breakfast, lunch or supper here and of course a few drinks if you want!

We come eating here again and again because of great food, great service and this time celebrated our anniversary so we got special magician performance by our waiter Angel. Great trick, made us laugh.

We had the best time celebrating my birthday. Mandy amd Angel were not only friendly and professional servers, they were hysterical and kept all of us entertained, including the kids. We return again and fir the food and the fabulous service. Highly recommend!

This restaurant made our trip. Mandy had us laughing all evening and by the end of the dinner my 94 year old Grandmother was demanding a picture with him! We are so appreciative of the memories made at Water's Edge! Boubaker had us all smiling in the morning as we enjoyed our breakfast. So thankful we got enjoy these tremendously gifted souls.

We had a wonderful and fun experience here. Angel was spectacular and funny. We had another waiter who was absolutely amazing and funny as well. Always putting a smile on our faces. Thank you to everyone here who made my grandmas 80th birthday a memorable one. We will definitely be coming back again.

We stopped for a late lunch during our afternoon tour around the area. Neither of us had been to the resort so thought it best to test the food before booking. The service was excellent and the food was good. Looking forward to making a weekend trip.

Awesome place to eat. The food is is very good with lots of taste.the service is second to none. Very friendly, entertaining, funny, and fast. We had Angel. He was so funny and entertaining and was an awesome server. We ate several times there over three days. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic menu, meals and service with a beautiful view of the lake! Went for an awesome meal with friends on Monday- I highly recommend!

Had an amazing meal at the restaurant on Saturday evening Feb 4,2022. Our server Angel attended to all of our needs with a smile and and a laugh. Food came out fast, fresh and piping hot. The magic tricks at the end of our meal topped off our night with some hearty laughter. Thank you for a great evening!

Fantastic food and excellent service as always. These guys really go above and beyond to give you a wonderful dining experience. We had Mandy as our server for supper and he was excellent! Oh and the incredible magic tricks are the cherry on top!

Amazing staff and managing service, and on top of wonderful service the food is excellent. HIGHLY recommend! Also staff a so accommodating for small kids and keeping everyone smiling!

Excellent food and superior service. We had two meals here and they were excellent, flavourful, good portions, and reasonably priced. Our servers were above and beyond, Yazid and Mandi, were both attentive, engaging, professional, and even a little funny! They do their job exceptionally!

Yuck. We thought we'd go out for a nice Friday night dinner. The instant mashed potatoes were cold. The prevously frozen pork cutlet tasted like it had been reheated and was watery. There was a lack of taste as well as a lack of service. At the time of payment a POS machine was plopped on the table and the server left. When I mentioned the cold food the response was "oh". Would we return? No!

We stayed at the Manitou Springs Resort for several days and ate every meal at the Waters Edge Restaurant and Bar. The food is delicious and well-presented. It is great to receive such great service by staff who really enjoy their job. Every staff member was friendly and quick to provide everything we desired. Even Angel, the Assistant Manager, was helping serve food. He was hilarious! He made us laugh out loud with his good-natured humour and card tricks. The atmosphere was relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable.

We had an absolutely fabulous experience at the Water's Edge. Our Service from Angel was fantastic. Our meals were amazing, and the entertainment we received from Angel was bar none the best. He had us laughing and enjoying our evening from the time we sat down until we left. It was truly like attending supper and dinner show all in one. Thank you for the great meal and entertainment.

The server Angel was awesome. Attentive to our table with some magic and jokes, really made our experience better. Food was of average quality, desserts were above average (peanut butter pie and deep fried cheesecake).

Wonderful food great service, if you are lucky enough to get Angel as you server you will not be disappointed. Angel made are meal times awesome we have never laughed so much he is a keeper guys, he is the reason we would eat there lots more.

I love going there! If you’re lucky enough to get Angel as a waiter, ask him to do a magic trick for you. He’s amazing! Also, order the Peanut Butter Pie for desert. It’s so delicious!
