There's cockroaches in the building so you want to drink with cockroaches be my guess in the kitchen is very dirty and dusty and there's cockroaches in there so just to let everybody know

Husband was there for a staff Christmas party and it was suggested they order individually rather than do a buffet. All the food was cold and service slow. At his table of 8 there was near to an hour from first person served to last and last persons fries and fish were cold. Steak and fries cold. Very disappointing.

I love this place. I travel to Saskatoon for work quite a lot and now stay at the senator hotel because this bar is underneath. The food is amazing a large selection of tap beers and super friendly staff.

What happened to Winston’s? My husband and I used to love this place! The last 2-3 times we’ve gone over the last year the service has been soooooo slow even when it’s empty, the food has been underwhelming to say the least, and the atmosphere just feels off. It used to be known for its fun atmosphere, being able to try beers from all over the world and great food. Very sad to see what it’s become. My husband and went about 2 weeks ago, waited 10 minutes for a server even though there were only 3 others tables occupied and 3 wait staff. Took another 15 minutes to get our drinks. We then ordered appetizers which came out quickly but we’re very underwhelming visually and in taste. We ordered more drinks while we finished eating but waited so long we cancelled our order and went to Osheas.

The menus are hard to read, the portions are small, the food was bland. Our waitress was good, however the pub was understaffed despite knowing that there would be a large group coming in after a wedding.

Id like to be able to write a review about the food and drinks, however, we never got the chance.
Honestly though, after seeing all the dirty glasses and uncleaned tables everywhere that should have been our first red flag to leave.
Waited for service for 10 minutes and quickly realized we weren't going to get it.
We ended up going to O'Sheas around the corner where we received prompt and friendly service. 5 stars to them.

Consistently good food and good beer. However the service is majorly lacking. Multiple times now (we keep giving them chances) we have waited well over an hour for a waitress that never shows up. Or when they do they're cranky.
We sat in an almost empty bar for more than 45 minutes the other night waiting for service, eventually got annoyed and ordered our own things from the bar and made them aware of the issue thinking maybe we would get some service. Nope. Not until it came time to pay.then the waitress was quick and efficient.
I wish I could say this was a one off but it just hasn't been.

Food was okay for a pub but the service was disgraceful. I went to the washroom between my meals and when I got out, I was accused of stealing.

I liked the service, waitress was kind to understand the taste and when my friend ordered she was prompt enough to suggest something which suits exactly to our needs
For me she went even further by making sure if I am liking the taste - Much appreciated!
Atmosphere and the setting is as always amazing with Winston’s right in downtown so has an easy access
Not a big fan of Winston’s food, pricey too
Parking is an issue as well
But regardless to say Winston’s has always been our place and would visit again
Best time to visit Thursdays afternoon quite and you could find a place easily

We were at this place last night get some drink, and we total ordered 12 glasses beer before their 9: 45 last call, we got told by the server the bar close at 11.
At 10: 20 the security guy walked around and tell everyone that we need to rush, and 10: 30 he came to us again tell us we gonna need to leave. About 10: 40 the waitress came to us and said: “ you guys are the last table, you leave now and we can all leave. ”
She was rude but we didn’t argue, we said ok then we were leaving. BUT! There are 3-4 their regular customers still sitting at the bar drinking and chatting. Literally we got kicked out.

If you want to close earlier and go home, then change your operation hour to 10: 30.

You gave a great smile to me when you took 20% tip at 10 o’clock, and kick me out after 40 minutes.

Thanks for giving us that experience and definitely not going to return to this place.

Btw this place ask you to seat yourself during COVID, and you will need to walk around the whole restaurant find a spot to sit. And they don’t require to record one persons info for the group (base on Saskatchewan SLGA restriction for COVID-19)

Excellent atmosphere and ambiance. Stay very friendly and all Covid rules were followed by patrons and staff alike. Not over crowded, very safe feeling.

Awesome place to go to taste excellent local pints. I highly recommend their orange mead.

Clean. Easy to access hand cleaner. Can still seat anywhere and tables have markers to show theyve been cleaned. Staff always wears masks.

Love this place, great fish and chips and selection of beer on tap. Nice English pub theme all around and friendly staff. Enjoyed it here every time I’ve visited!

Had thee bestest steak n mashed potatoes with gravey n mixed veggies.an waitress was very polite n great service.thank yous and guaranteed. I'll be back.
