Wolseley Motel

Out of luck we found this place while browsing online for motels this side of Regina on our road trip. Beds were extremely comfy, service was pleasant and for being right beside the highway it you could barely hear it. Rooms were cute and look a lot nicer inside than you'd expect from the look outside. Feels like a lovely little family owned place and we will definitely be staying here next time we make a trip eastbound on the trans Canada!

Stayed here again and it's still a great stay!

The front desk service was excellent. Very accommodating and friendly. It’s an older building and a little dated, but the price reflected that. Overall it was a good experience.

Dated but immaculate inside. Good value and very comfortable bed. A1 pizza co located for good eats. Fridge, microwave and 1 cup coffee maker.

We had no toilet paper. When we called room service regarding the toilet paper, we were told to come get it ourselves! Don't expect any service.

There are bed bugs. Arrived after 10pm and paid for room. Seemed great at first then I looked at my pillow and saw a bed bug. Owner offered to move me and no compensation.

Need a place to sleep when driving on the highway? The Wolseley Motel has very clean even if a little dated rooms. The linenens and the bed were comfortable and fresh.

I was on a long drive east to Ontario stopped here late at night. It didn’t look like the nicest place on the outside but I was tired and to my surprise I got a very nice room a kitchenette room.the beds were comfortable. It was very clean. The decor was actually quite nice as well. I was pleasantly surprised for the price as well. The young lady at the counter was sweet as well.

Excellent location right next to HWY 1. Clean room, clean shower comfy bed.
Nothing else to wish for.

We stayed one night on our way West. Similar to the Quest Motel in Whitewood, this motel looks basic from the outside but has tonnes of extra charm on the inside. Clean, surprisingly quiet given how close it is to the highway, with little details like sequinned accent pillows on the beds and real mugs for coffee (the coffee was still bad, but I have never ever had good coffee in a motel or hotel no matter how high the room rate is) Our "family room" had a back door and two chairs overlooking the fields behind the building. Lots of outside space for smokers / bird watchers / mosquito-baiters. Across the highway in Wolseley we had a good dinner at the Canada Cafe (Chinese/Canadian - we ordered the Chinese). Comfy beds and good water pressure in the shower. I highly recommend this place!

This is a lovely little motel. Super clean, wonderfully quiet. After a long day on the road, and no vacancies in Regina, this was a true oasis!

We were so tired from driving all day. The power was out but they took us in anyway because we were so tired. The Lady was so friendly and thoughtful. She went around seeing if anyone needed candles. The room was immaculant. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone.

Great little motel, very clean & comfy. Overnight & back on the road early. Friendly staff.

Very welcoming, loved the room, clean and had everything we could wish for - all that is advertised from the ultra comfortable beds with lots of big fluffy pillows to the candles and flowers. A delight after a full day of travel.

Amazing room and amazing service! Super clean, super nice environment, and super nice owner! No complaints at all. Hands down the best motel I've ever been in, and will be my new standard when it comes to motels. Don't hesitate to book a room in this place!

Amazing rooms. Pet friendly which we needed.
Doesn’t look amazing on the outside however it is clean, well maintained and obviously cared for. Picnic tables, gazebo, BBQ, and a convenient place to eat next door as well.
Staff were helpful and friendly.
Comfiest bed ever!

The receptionist went above and beyond her call of duty! Place was immaculate and very comfortable!

I’ve stayed here a couple of times. Rooms are fairly clean and since it’s a motel you can back right up to your room.essential when you have precious cargo! It’s no ritz but the price is fair.

We just left a perfect night sleep in a cozy wood paneled room, clean and simply decorated, and very comfortable. The kind and soft spoken owner walked us to our room at 2: 30 in the morning when we arrived, and came back to make sure we had a good stay when we left.

This is an amazing place to stay at. Our room was extremely clean and well furnished. Comfy bed. The owner is very kind and accomadating. 100% would recommend

Very basic, extremely cozy and comfortable. Felt like I was staying at someone's guest cottage. Gent at reception very friendly. Quiet, got a very good night's rest.
