Starbucks is quite standardized, but this location is unpleasant for two reasons. I think these two reasons are easy fixes and I hope the manager can address it with their team:

1. On multiple occasions, my cups have been filled less than 3/4 of the way, which makes me feel like I am wasting my money and not getting what I paid for.

2. Some of the employees at Starbucks wear such a heavy amount of cologne/perfume, which immediately triggers my allergies, makes me dizzy, and gives me a bad headache and stuffy nose. The service is also quite slow (but I'm not complaining about the speed of the service as I'm sure the staff is really busy), so waiting for my order in an environment where it's difficult to breathe due to the amount of cologne in the air is really unpleasant.

I requested an iced coffee with less ice and less cream, but the person preparing it added more ice than I preferred. In a polite manner, I asked for less ice. The person scooped out the ice cubes and poured some 2% milk directly onto my coffee. They handed me the altered beverage with an unpleasant demeanor. Feeling scared by her facial expression, I took the iced coffee without further objections. Unfortunately, I have no plans to return to this Starbucks location in the future.

Starbucks drinks are amazing but Gagan at Chilkoot, Whitehorse YT did awesome job. I had ordered my favourite drink and she made it awesome. Gagan went above and beyond with service in busy hours. 5 stars to her.

I have been to this Starbucks over 100 times and everytime it is disappointing.

I order food on the mobile app and when I get there they tell me they don’t have it and try to get me to buy something else and when I ask for a refund they didn’t even know how. This experience was incredibly frustrating.

The last few times I’ve asked for a drink with different shots or drizzle on the mobile app they don’t include it in the drink. I’m so sick of paying extra for additions and not getting them. Seriously this Starbucks has stolen probably $15 in extras in drinks I’ve ordered. It’s like they don’t even look at the order.

The drive through is so disorganized. One time I was waiting to pay and the guy didn’t ask me to and he swapped with some girl then she just used my stars to pay and didn’t even ask me when I told them I would pay with debit. So frustrating. The staff have no idea what they are doing and they are not friendly.

Very rarely will you have a good experience at this location.

This literally is the worst managed Starbucks I’ve ever been to. I ask myself why do i keep subjecting myself to this substandard service. The lack of leadership and awareness of what is happening in this business is concerning.

Visited this past Saturday night around 10 pm. Only been to Starbucks like, 4 times in my life so didn’t have high expectations.
The atmosphere was nice, no lines and the staff was friendly.
I ordered a slice of bread, delicious!
And I ordered a Pumpkin Iced Chai tea and forgot to request an alternative milk beverage. I asked them about paying for the change, though the individual with short black curly hair was super nice and didn’t accept that I would pay the difference. I tried to explain it was my mistake, and didn’t want to cheap out. Though that individual made it with oak and said it was already made. Kudos to them! (And the drink was delicious!)

The slowest drive through in existence. When it is operating it takes forever. I have sat for over an hour and I pre-ordered. They clearly cannot keep up and should just close the drive thru option permanently. Go inside and you wait as long there. They clearly cannot keep up with the demand.

Even better update. Order through the app.drive over. Wait in line for the speaker. Get there and they tell me they are too busy and they can't make my drink and to come inside.how am I supposed to get inside? I'm stuck in your drive thru line. I ordered in advance to give them time and now wasted even more time. Time to go elsewhere.

Starbucks Canada is like Starbucks everywhere. The location in Whitehorse was BUSY, but the staff was nice and the coffee is what you’d expect. Highly recommend, especially because they’re open until 3am!

I went to Starbucks on April30,2023, this is the first time I bought Starbucks in Whitehorse because I just moved from Toronto. I tried to order online. When I came to the pick up th3 order I asked girl named Iqbal if she got my order. She said that she did not get it, she asked me to show the receipt. She said something to her friends then she left. After 5 mins a girl came and she was staring at me, so I asked her if they got my order. She checked, and she said no, but the barista called my name “ellen”. I said yes, and she told me she had made my order. I went to ask something to the cashier but he pretended that he didn’t hear me. Iqbal said to her friend "she asked everyone after she already asked me". But the other barista answered "that is what happens when you wait too long". Iqbal again commented that I asked everyone after already asking. My concerns are that she doesnt need to make a comment out loud for me to hear it, and I wanted to approach her and say something but I didn't want to be rude. Starbucks needs to train her to not talk about customers, especially when my only question was "did you get my order? " When you said no, of course I am concerned. In other Starbucks in Toronto they are always friendly and courteous, maybe because I can find another Starbucks l, but here I have to go there every day and see the rude cashier.

Drive through is almost always closed. Normally it takes about 20-30 minutes just to get a coffee if using drive through. The other day it was moderately busy maybe 6 cars in line (this is busy for them). I arrived at 3: 10 and didn’t get my coffee until 3: 45. Service is incredibly slow, as I was waiting for my coffee there was a girl making coffee in her sweatpants while checking her phone. It took her almost 5 minutes to make one coffee.

As a former Starbucks employee, this place is not run well at all. I don’t blame the employees but obviously the training isn’t there. The employees seem very overwhelmed all the time and it’s messy and all over the place and honestly gross back behind the counter. We ordered mobile order and waited about 30 minutes. We then asked when it would be up and they said we pick up our own mobile by the front counter (which is a good system) but we saw no sign for it to be picked up there: (

Came into this Starbucks to get some work done and enjoy coffee and this morning’s staff is awesome! They are all hustling and super friendly. The wifi is also the best we have found in Whitehorse too!

Place is dirty, the pace the workers have to deal with causes that they can’t achieve the proper flavour or preparation for drinks, anytime you order it tastes different. Hire more or pay more.

Want a coffee? Forget it. Gotta order ahead of time, curb side pickup. Drive thru? Hell no! They only allow you to walk through! Two months ago I tried ordering a coffee there but they only accepted payment via their app. Don’t give them your business

Summer 2022- this used to be a great stop but I recommend avoiding it right now they say they’re training new staff but even with the staff they have the service is awful so I recommend supporting one of the local cafés for now such as the baked café or the kind café or Java connection or the coffee shop on third

The place is dirty. They must not have storage as tables were stacked with boxes of inventory. This is the worst Starbucks I've ever walked into. Forget the drive through unless you liked to burn fossil fuel idling waiting for your caffeine fix. Won't return ever again.

Currently only taking orders either at drive through or through the app that nobody wants. You can't just walk in and order. Although you're allowed to sit inside. Just not order from inside.

I think there is an ESL problem. This happens often. I ordered one gruyere cheese with egg and bacon-I received an Egg McMuffin and on the coffee and the Egg McMuffin it said, Jam, my name is Jane. The guy I ordered from went on his break. Thank you.

The staff is always friendly and polite with me, they serve me quickly and some even recognize me and greet me with my name! Nice place to drink a Chai tea latte and enjoying the wifi!

The slowest most inaccurate Starbucks location I have ever been to. Avoid the drive through if you can. Averages 5 minutes per vehical.

Very good service. The team is always friendly and helpful. They do their best to meet the customer's needs as well as possible. There can be a line up but when there are a lot of people, isn't it normal? They are humans, they do their best. I recommend!

Great team, always get treated good! Rarely any issues with the beverages, most items are available all the time! Great management definitely a great spot to grab a coffee!

It's a Starbucks. They make many different presentations of coffee. If you show up expecting coffee you will not be disappointed. I have also not gotten the plague from going here.

It's a starbucks. Uniform experience across outlets is kind of their thing:). Will occassioanlly shut down the drive-thru when short on staff.

Store hours say they open at 6am. An employee opened up at 5: 55am and then let 3 customers in, while locking the door as I walked towards the entrance. The other employees showed up 5 mins later. 10 mins later they opened it and nothing was ready inside. When I ordered a Christmas Blend coffee, the Barista appeared to actually MIX 1/2 that flavour and Pikes Place, since apparently the Christmas Blend was not ready. I won’t be back.

THE WORST SERVICE EVER, come here lots and EVERY TIME they either mess up my order, or actually FORGET that I've ordered anything. A couple times I've stood there for 15 mins, and had to actually remind someone to prepare my coffee. There is no line, yet it's messy and chaotic behind the counter and it's like watching a herd of cats. Wish I wasn't so addicted to Blonde roast or I'd make a point never to come here.

There was a considerable language barrier initially but the order was taken correctly. We ordered food and one mocha with extra chocolate. The food was fine although no gloves were used to prepare it. The mocha was THE worst out of any Starbucks store I have ever been to. The drink tasted like it was mostly water with a tiny amount of coffee. The label attached to the cup fell off immediately. No whip on top and no straw. One star maybe

Very poor service. Too busy chatting to even notice my drink was waiting to be made and they didn't even do up an order for my second drink. The quality of my drink also wasn't up to scratch. I had to ask where my drinks were before they even noticed.

Ordered a breakfast sandwich and iced white mocha through my mobile app. On the app the iced white mocha came with whipped topping. When I got to the store it didnt have any so I let the barista know. She questioned me and said even for the iced ones? I said yes that's what it said on the app when I was ordering. She was rude and gave off a vibe that I had bothered her to correct her work. Love Starbucks but this location has the worst customer service I have ever seen. If you cannot be bothered to do your job properly then maybe you shouldn't work there. You should at least know how to make the basic drinks on the menu and if you make a mistake please dont take it out on the customer. I paid $11 for my order so it should be made right. Sorry that asking you to do your job was inconvenient. Very disappointed with this interaction.
