Great experience!
We got to see animals we had never seen before!
The place is very large so it is possible that there are some animals that can be observed.
In general I find it an interesting experience.

Great rehabilitation for wild life. Staff and drivers are very polite and knowledgeable. Always book bus for better guidance.

To kill time.
Because there's not much to do during the day.
Recommended by the hotel staff
Expensive, but about 300 dollars
I went there because it's a place I'll never come to again.
Impressions are not a zoo
I couldn't see much
I couldn't see the moose, or I didn't see it.only one caribou
the goat is sleeping
mountain goat not moving
fox sleeping
The wildcat ran away immediately
What I could see properly
About a bison
So I can't see it as much as I expected.
Well, if I had money, I would use it to kill time.

Highly recommend the zoo. Saw a lot of wild animals I never see it before. Especially bobcat!

It’s honestly beautiful, we were able to see almost every animal. We didn’t do the bus tour, just walked but the bus happened to be there at some of our stops and it was truly great to listen to the guide ️

Loved our visit and we had Andrew as our guide. Very knowledgeable and enjoys his work and we learnt a lot.

We decided to purchase the bus tour thru the web site.cannot praise Andrew, our tour guide, enough! He's an encyclopedia of information - every animal, the history, the rescue center, every question! He had a detailed answer. Plenty of time given to take pictures at each stop. Beautiful preserve. Great welcome center and nice rest rooms.

A great and quiet place for family and friends to enjoy a long walk surrounded by Yukon wildlife.
Arctic Fox has moved on, but they have other amazing animals to offer. Lynxes, foxes, musk ox, ram, goats and moose…

As a visitor to Canada from the UK, the Yukon Wildlife Preserve was a brilliant and informative introduction to Yukon's larger animals. For us, the pricier bus tour was so valuable as the extra information given by the guide (also the manager) made a huge difference, even though the information panels are very good. There is a load of space for the animals to roam, so we did a lap of the site to take some extra pics. It was so useful for us as we travelled back down the various highways coming across many of the animals and being able to recognise them.

This was one of the top things we wanted to see in the Yukon, did not disappoint. Attached is the largest ball bag I’ve ever seen

Very large, informative place to spend an afternoon. The wildlife aren't always very close but they have so much space to roam around that that's bound to happen. You can always loop around and try again later. Dogs are not allowed anywhere but your vehicle so be aware. There are restrooms approximately every 30 mins of walking. There's also no food available for purchase but there are picnic tables should you bring snacks/ lunch.

Beautiful place to see some well kept animals that are found in the Yukon. Knowledgable and friendly staff.

A highlight of our trip! We did a bus tour, which I would recommend even if you're up for walking the loop. The guide knew the animals *individually*, and gave us lots of insight into their behaviours and ecology. She left all the room we needed for asking questions and taking pictures.

Staff is great but get ready for walking a lot. The entrance fee for adult is $18, but if you take the bus tour is $28. I recommend to take the tour bus if you’re not into walking, or you can ride your bike as well.
It’s a 5k walking route, it might take you 2 hours to walk the whole way. We couldn’t see many animals though, they seem to be hiding away, but we could watch some of them from far.
They have public toilets all the way.

I took a 3 hour Photo tour with Lindsey. She and the tour were amazing. She arranged so I could get every shot I wanted.

One of my favorite places in the area. I love this preserve for their mission. The tour was excellent and given with passion for the animals and a zeal for providing knowledge.

Well worth the visit. Bring binoculars for some, they are given huge areas to roam, but some will be up close anyway because of food location or they find the bus interesting. Go here and then go to the hot springs.

Even if you like walking, the bus tour (1.5-2 hours) is really informative, and stops at each animal. You can always walk it again after if you like (probably same amount of time depending on how long you stop at each animal). Thanks Megan for the great tour!

What a gem! I've never been anywhere with such large enclosures for the animals. Be prepared to walk, because it is a huge place. We had great views of most of the animals. It was very peaceful as well. We're fast walkers (two adults, no kids), and it took us nearly two hours to do the whole thing.

Very good place to see mooses, goats, bisons etc. Very friendly staff. Be prepare to walk 5 to 8 km. Or pay for a shuttle. I prefer the walk and loved every minute of it. Able to see upclose and securely local wildlife

We booked the bus tour because we didn't know how big the area was.km afterwards, we would have preferred to have seen this on foot. Beautiful enclosure with a relatively large amount of exercise.
