Avis Car Rental

It is worth doing better research and asking about everything before signing anything, at the counter they will try to sell you things that are really not necessary.

I will never rent at the Calgary airport again. They don't offer free parking, (which you think if you can just park your own car in the spot where your rental was it wouldn't be a big deal). I had to pay $67 for airport parking for one day which is ridiculous. I would've taken an Uber or chosen another location if I had known! None of the staff knew what they were doing (they all told me different things about where to park). And theres no shuttle. The long term parking is also in another building over, which is about. 15 min walk with your luggage, which I had to do in -20 weather. No shuttle, no staff to take you there. Will never use this location again.

I booked our rental with avis, with time difference when I booked they adjusted for me wolithout fine, I did even extend our rental and it was fast. I will definitely go with avis on my future car rental bookings.

I use Avis for all my business rental vehicle travel needs. Easy to use website, check in, and return.

Dirty car, airport fees not disclosed upfront, no initial inspection from staff and upon return was made to fill paperwork for pre-existing defects. Car was in good driving condition.

Very unfriendly staff at the airport of Calgary.
Both the employee and the supervisor.
Not at all a customer centric treatment.
Next time I will go to one of the other companies next to Avis.

Even after signing the contract, the final price was calculated at the changed amount (cheaper amount) and a refund was later issued. Friendly guidance was given and vehicle delivery and pickup were easy. Delivery was possible even at 5 am.
