Budget Car Rental

I wish it was a zero star option available! 40 minutes waiting time to pick up a vehicle and only two people ahead of me. If you have other options do not choose this place!

Does this place even rent cars? It also has the slowest computer system known to man. We waited 45min just to have them tell us they don't have our car (an SUV) that we booked via their website. Why is that even given as an option? I'm convinced this location only lets you rent or has pickup trucks available. That's if their inventory of what I can imagine consists of 5 cars is available.

After that, they told us they couldn't help us find a car and we were left scrambling calling other car rentals in order to find what we needed.

Worst experience ever! Had a car rented for 4 weeks from them and needed to extend for one more week was told had to come in a reopen the contract.ok no problem.
Turned out that they would only accept chip visa card as payment, I only found out while there my chip must have got damaged somehow
So their machine could not read it. I rang Mt Bank, plenty of funds. They said pay online, not available option by budget, swipe.not available from budget, 3 and a half hours later refused to help me take payment, would not allow me used debit or online, stuck in Edmonton with no car, and had to get an Uber with my suitcases.horrible service. But shock horror they were well able to charge me for existing bill outstanding and online! Would not even allow for a staff member to drop me to apartment and still wanted me to pay to fill the age tank for return

Mary at Team Ford Budget is always incredible to deal with, my company rents cars regularly from this location. We will continue to use this facility whenever possible. Thank you for always accommodating and having clean and well maintained vehicles.

Extremely bad service, I had to wait half hour to pick up my rental. I prepaid online for a Doge Charger and they didn't have the vehicle available. The lady was trying to give me a basic car for same price I paid for the Doge Charger. After argument they give me SUV ford instead of a doge charger and the vehicle was filthy.

I rented a full size car for a couple days and Budget had the best deal.
When I got to the counter and said it was the first time there the agent said he would upgrade me to a SUV.
I had dealt with other rental companies before and this was by far the best company I had ever used.
Suhaib Awan was the most pleasant and courteous agent I have ever dealt with.
I would highly recommend going to this branch.

I reserved for a doge charger online and paid extra because it’s usually under luxury category.when I went to pick up the rental they told me that they don’t have the vehicle and they were trying to give me a basic car for the same price I paid for the luxury car. After argument with the customer rep I had to wait half hour to get an SUV sanitized and that vehicle was not even clean. Extremely unprofessional employees with bad service. I don’t recommend this branch of budget to anyone.

We brought our truck in and needed a rental vehicle twice due to Ford's inability to fix a recall. Suhaib, the budget car rental agent, went above being courteous and helped immensely. Excellent service, no complaints.

Excellent service! Suhaib helps me a lot with finding the small car for me every time I get service from Team ford. He is so polite and caring. I forgot my kid's shoes once in the car. He helped me get them back. Great job!

It was a mistake to rent from this location. I only chose them because they had the class of vehicle I was after, trusting it to be that one "or similar". Upon arriving they didn't have the car I booked and dismissively stated they didn't even offer it, instead I got something very different and disappointing. Other than that is was clean and straightforward. They closed early for no reason on the drop-off date. I should have gone elsewhere

I bought my personal vehicle into Team Ford for repairs, they offered me a Budget rental car for the day as repairs would take the whole day.
I was very impressed with the excellent service at the Budget Location, they were very friendly and very knowledgeable about the service they were providing. I was given a Ford Escape as the rental it was very clean and even had a steering wheel cover as an extra protection again Covid.

Received great service here from both Hamza and Rahama, the first vehicle had a weird noise so they switched it no problem, was willing to make sure I received the best car for my business needs. Thanks so much!

This location is HORRIBLE! DO NOT GO HERE!

I PREPAID and reserved a 4x4 SUV for a week long trip to Banff. Got a call on the morning of pickup to say that they have no vehicles, so not to bother coming in. Called back and they said they gave away the prepaid rentals to all the customers with vehicles in their Ford 'service department', instead of those prepaid customers so they ran out. They could 'upgrade' me to an 8 passenger rear wheel drive van.or a refund. The only 2 options they could offer.
Ummm. NO! Banff.with a huge, rear-wheel drive vehicle for 2 of us? They should have given these to the service department customers, not the reserved vehicles.

The only option was to drive 1h each way to the Airport and get a replacement at nearly $200 more for the 'convenience'. Budget Customer Service head office is much better and is offering to alleviate some of the fees when we return it. We will see when we get back.

Reserved online and it forced me to choose this location due to other locations having reduced hours. Both the website and budget’s customer service confirmed they were open til 6 pm. Tried calling at 2: 04 pm, no answer. Tried 4 more times before 3: 00 pm and no one could be bothered to answer. After $10 and 1.5 hours of public transit later I arrived to find a paper sign in the window saying they’d closed at 3.

Budget’s customer service is a joke and after bouncing between 6 different people the best they could suggest was to go back to the airport (which I’d just bused in from) and they’d happily rent me the same vehicle foooorrrrr $800.

Then to add insult to injury the 5th person I talked to said that about the only thing to do would be to cancel the reservation and then talk to customer service about compensation. The 6th customer service person then informed me that if I’d talked to them earlier they could’ve arranged something with another rental company but since I cancelled the reservation they couldn’t compensate me for anything. No one else in this clusterf*** mentioned that. Jesus. If I could give zero stars and throat punch all these buffoons I would.

I rented a car from this location for 11 days in June. When getting the keys, I had to sign the contract with the price per day for the insurance. The manager Mike offered me a number of options and I picked the $16 per day. However, when he printed a contract it was $30/day. I refused to sign asking him to change the price in the contract. He said it didn't matter, but then changed it manually (see picture attached). When returning the car, I reminded him about the price mistake and he assured me he would change it. Guess what, my visa was charged $30/day for 11 days, so I was overcharged almost $200. I returned to my home town by that time, so I tried calling him, no one would pick up the phone or return my calls (I left a message). Then I called Budget head office and they only agreed to return $103 to me saying that they don't see anything marked in their digital copy. Wouldn't recommend this location, it's a scam.

Just nothing special on the service side. The car was filthy, spilled drink on the door and the window needed cleaning.

Very bad service.
When I got to the front desk the agent told me that I would have to wait around 10 min because he was moving some vehicle around.
Car interior was not clean, it had enough dirt to say it hasn't been cleaned for a while; however the agent at the teller told to remove cups and napkins or I could be subject to a cleaning fee.
Fuel tank was 3/4 full.

I had prepaid / reserved for a rental (car), when I arrived they had nothing available what-so-ever. Someone finally returned a truck so they gave me that, then they asked if I had coverage and I said yes i've pre-paid everything they decided to up the coverage on me without telling me anything and charged me and additional $80 for the difference in coverage when it was returned. Feels a bit scammy - go elsewhere.
