Budget Car Rental

The front staff was kind and patient with me. I spent 3 hours trying to get a rental with them, booking made with visa debit but when it came to the deposit on credit there was an issue… turned out to be the chip on my credit card. Because of “policy” they were unable to rent me a vehicle. I went to another rental service were they were able to swipe and was in and out in 20 mins. Just wanted to note if you don’t have a chip they can not rent you a vehicle.

This location stands out from other Budget locations. Great front desk staff. Personable, Helpful, and work at trying to make sure everything is correct.

The staff at Sherwood Budget was spectacular. Quick, helpful and make you feel welcome. I needed a rental while my vehicle was in the shop and they made it painless. Thanks Ron and staff!

Worst rental experience I have ever had with any company. Massive delay with getting on my way as the rental was dirty (dirt console and screen) and blood on the passenger visor. I asked for another vehicle or upgrade and no other vehicle was provided in lieu. Horrible customer service and attitude of the front desk staff and detailer at budget. Rent anywhere else as you will have a much better experience.

What an absolute debacle and sham this business is. The vehicles are absolute junk and filthy. I rent a truck to move and the box is 4 feet long basically useless they have hidden mileage fees. The fact this Sherwood Park location would charge you $200 plus and give you a vehicle in this condition shows you all you need to know. If you are in sherwood park head 30 steps down the road to Enterprise they always look after you and vehicles are clean and unlimited km’s. Would never go back to these crooks so disappointed.

I'm pretty disappointed, I was an hour late returning the vehicle and was prepared to pay $10-20 extra for being late. They charged me the entire day with an excuse about traffic tickets. I'm sure that vehicle was out with a new customer within 4 hours. I'll use the Enterprise rental a couple doors down next time.

This is the best car rentals in Sherwood park. I am a emerald member with enterprise and National, but they dont had a vehicle available at the moment. So I decided to go with these guys and I rent a car from these guys and they provide the best service in the vehicles were really fancy. And the manager regards me with some extra kilometres on the top of it. It was a good experience.

If I had the option of giving negative reviews I would have given them. We had a Ram pick up truck rented through our dealership. When we went to drop off the truck, the guy was extremely rude, he said he doesn’t have any fear of anybody. We were tricked into the deal and was not told about the duration in which we were supposed to drop off truck. We got to know when we went to drop the truck, on the same day. This location does not know how to deal with the costumers. The guy working was mannerless and screaming. Extremely unprofessional behaviour. We will never be back. If possible we will contact the higher authority of this location or budget enterprises.
