Divine Flooring

Divine was the flooring and shower tile installer for our new built home.
We had to get some pieces repaired plus have the shower tile fixed multiple times in the span of a few months. On many occasions, Divine booked a service appointment, and the installers did not show up. Not just once.not twice.not three.but FOUR times.and on all those times, we got no call from Divine service department advising us of the no show.
Horrible service, would never use these guys for any other flooring project I may have in the future.

The behavior of their workers will show how their company will perform in their business. It is Friday afternoon at 4.30pm August 25,2023. A delivery truck of theirs blocked the entire Drury Ave NW and driver and worker refuse to just move to the side for others to pass by.
They hand bombed every single package for nearly half an hour, ignoring request from other drivers with such rude and arrogant attitude, even honk their horns while they leave.
What a company.

I had some issues with my flooring. Divine flooring after a poor feedback here, reached out to me and sent their technician who came and fixed issues.

I had an appt with Samantha for our home selections, it was supposed to be a 3-hr long appt but it was a breeze because she was so helpful and knowledgeable! She was able to give me some great advice and was very affirming of my choices which I needed as I went by myself. She was extremely hospitable and patient and their standard selections were amazing! Would highly recommend for sure!

Divine Flooring has a beautiful showroom with lots of flooring and tile options for us to choose from. We worked with Samantha for our appointment and she made the process easy and seamless. She was always open to pricing different options for us, never made us feel rushed and was very knowledgeable about the products offered. We made a couple of changes to our selections the next day and Samantha was very accommodating. Thank you!

They have huge selection or varieties of flooring to pick from. All shades of colors and types. Our appointment was on time. The staff that attended to us to us was friendly, patient, knowledgeable and very professional. She worked with us to pick a product that meets our requirements and budget. We strongly recommend them.

It was a pleasure dealing with Megan, she was very kind and patient. She brought out all of the samples for us to take a look at, answered all of the questions we have and explained the pros and cons of the products. She also gave us some of her personal suggestions, which was helpful for us to make a decision. It was a good experience overall!

Mckenna & Sam were very helpful during our flooring selection. They provided us with great information that made it easy to choose the right floor for us. They have a great selection without it being overwhelming - I would highly recommend Divine Flooring!

Divine flooring and particularly, Nicky Connors, gave us an amazing experience when it was time for us to choose the flooring in our new house. The visit went smooth and she helped us out with her thoughts on our selections and made great suggestions when she had an idea of our tastes. I don't know when we'll build again, but if we do, we'll be back!

We had an incredible experience with the team from Divine Flooring. Our sales person, Kevin Henry, was honest, a great communicator, on top of the job and so responsive. We decided to rip out some carpet and match the existing hardwood in the home, and from start to finish it was a great experience. High quality work, respectful crew, top notch service. We highly recommend them and their workmanship.

Contractor in small transit connect was going at least twice the posted speed limit. Cutting me and the dog off while looking at his phone. Bayview Airdrie. At 5: 05pm the day of this review if it helps his company tell him to smarten up. Children play around here and aren’t quite as cautious.

They have no stock in house and than sell you on ordering floors that will take 8 to 12 weeks to be delivered. The staff continue to reassure you on this timeframe, as apparently "covid delays" were accounted for in these 8-12 weeks. THIS IS A LIE! I ordered the first week of June and they are now giving me mid October dates after getting a sale when in June they were continuously telling me mid August, latest end of August. They will lie to you to make the sale and will use all the excuses such as covid, shipping delays etc, even though their business depends on understanding how shipments work. A 4 week delay is completely understandable, but a 2 month delay without notification implies a lack of competence that is shocking and borderline EXPLOITATION. Take your business to someone dependable and beware these liars and rude staff that are just out for a sale.

First I like to start by saying thank you to Nicky for make a pressure free experience. She actually listened to what asked for. And she was knowledgeable enough to offer some suggestions base what we were asking for. She gave us dollar amounts upfront. There was no "I'll have to run the numbers later and get back to you". She was prepared, professional and practiced active listening. 5 star customer service and a very large selection to choose from. You need floor carpet or tiles this the place for you. I'd give them 6 stars if I could.

Very helpful, knowledgeable and polite. Also good counseling in making sure what we were picking would compliment our choices.

Throughout the whole process Nicky was professional, punctual, polite, accommodating, and very knowledgeable.

She listened, and understood the vision we had in our mind for our home, offered us very helpful suggestions and showed us a wide selection of products that were available at Divine.

The process was a bit overwhelming & daunting at times trying to select colors, products, and materials, etc.but Nicky reassured us that we would not be rushed and had plenty of time to get all the selections done.

Experience was good but the pics and the samples were a bit off from the actual product when its layed out in a home.it just looks different from the samples.the builder they work with is at most average

Recently ordered our Luxury vinyl plank flooring from divine flooring in Calgary, we got in touch with Nicky and she went above and beyond with the customer service and answering all our emails and questions we had regarding the nosings and heat register vents and made it an easy choice to pick divine as this is our second time having their LVP installed in our home wouldn’t choose any other supplier or product for a house with pets as the floor is practically bulletproof. Super happy with their product and customer service.

I had a great experience at Divine! Nikki helped me with all of my selections and was really fun and easy to talk to. I felt like she understood the style I was looking for right away and helped me easily select colors/styles to create the perfect home! Would definitely recommend Divine & Nikki to anyone!

Had Bad experience with this company. Parents were recommended to this company by someone who has used their services and it was great for them. On the other hand we did not
1. Order places for carpet for our basement (used our own installers as they have done few houses for us over the past 20 years of us being in calgary)
2. Day of install, noticed carpets were two different types one commercial and other regular, even colors were different.
3. Went back to store to get this fixed (twice now we have been to the shop). This time different color was offered as original is not available. No issues we went ahead with it.
4. Carpet picked second time was not available once we got back from the shop, went back 3rd time to select different carpet. (This time correct carpet was sent.
5. Cost of original deliver out of out pocket, so far company only offered to do “free” delivery because of the constant hiccup. No other customer service was offered.
6. As we complete the install, noticed the underlay was short for 8 steps even though measurements were given (when spoken with company they stated “your dad said stairway do not require underlay” seriously made me laugh as no one would say that)

Over all experience 4/10, company seems to forget customers who have there own installers or are not spending 2000$ +.

Definitely going to look for other carpet company’s for other houses we own.

We Love Divine Flooring! Katie was amazing at assisting us through the full process of selecting flooring and tile for our new home. Her design expertise coupled with her ‘divine’ personality made the selection process easy. Kevin was fantastic at finalizing the paperwork and coordinating the install. Divine's install team were good at their trade and tidy! We are in love with the end product and highly recommend Katie and Kevin.

Divine Flooring is one the best suppliers we have encountered. They have the biggest selection and Nicky who was helping us made it so much more effortless throughout the whole process. She's also extremely patient with us as well. We took quite a bit of time to decide each detail, but she helped guide us through the whole selection process. She is extremely knowledgeable and offers her professional help whenever we are unsure. I would definitely recommend them for all your interior needs.

Dont count on getting warranty work done, they will blame the home builder and tell yoou one thing to your face, while telling the home builder another. I do not reccomend doing business with this company.

I was in a store in Vancouver, but visiting Calgary, i thought i would try my luck with them, but boy was i wrong. The staff seems to be cut out of the same cloth as it seemed my time wasn't worth anything in the store. I couldn't get anyone to help me. Perhaps this is a company wide issue where if you don't want to spend alot of money, they won't spend alot of time with you.

Our entire experience was pleasant from start to finish. I didn't get her name, but when we first entered the show room, she greeted us with a big smile. She offered to take our coats and offered us water and coffee. It was definitely a nice touch. She introduced us to Nicky, who helped us through the entire floor, tile, carpet and quartz countertop selection for our new home. Nicky was very thorough and knowledgeable. She wasn't afraid to offer her opinion when we needed guidance. She even helped pick out our bathroom floor tiles which we're super stoked about! On top of that, communication has been top notch. Nicky was very quick in responding to emails and even promptly responded to one of my emails that i sent after 9: 30 PM! She's definitely a hard worker. It's been a great experience with Divine Flooring. I hope to work with them again on my next home and I hope Nicky still works for them when that time comes.

Terrific supplier! We have been using Divine for flooring products for our builds for the past 5 or 6 years now. Our clients love them, and we love the consistently great service!

Just had my floors replaced by Devine Flooring thanks to Nicky and Carlos for being so accommodating and efficient. Not only did I ask them to do my floors last minute but I also needed them done within a week! Needless to say it all came together, not only does it look great but the quality of their products are fantastic.

The ugly side of Divine Flooring - poor customer care after installation.

Our builder chose Divine Flooring and I want to say I do not fault them for choosing Divine. We were happy with the installation and product throughout the home. When we experienced a product malfunction with the drain in our master shower which led to flooding to the level below we called the builder. The builder reached out to Divine and it took over a week to get someone out to evaluate the problem. Divine took responsibility for fixing the issue with the faulty product. That was the right thing to do. It was over two weeks until they were back to work on the shower. That was the wrong thing to do. At this point it’s three plus weeks with no master shower. Timelines continued to be pushed forward with little explanation. Ultimately we had to choose a different tile for replacement since they did not have stock of the original tile which delayed things further. I want people to know that the way Divine communicated with us through our builder with days of radio silence and lack of follow through was unacceptable. A company that only looks to gain new customers at the cost of taking care of past customers won’t get my business again.

From their beautiful Calgary show room, to the installation of our new Floors, my wife and I could not be more impressed with the way things turned out. Our salesman Kevin was excellent from the very beginning. He was thorough in showing us several different options for our project. Kevin was quick to notify on any delivery delays well in advance. We ended up only having to push the project back one extra day. The overall outcome turned out wonderful. The new carpet upstairs, and laminate on the main level truly made our home feel completely new, at a resonable cost, and I don't believe my wife and I would even consider buying floors from anywhere else but Divine in the future. Highly recommended.

We cannot say enough about our experience with Divine flooring. Their showroom blows away any other we have seen, and they carry a huge selection of top of the line products. The designers are up to date with trends and very knowledgeable about the products they carry. Ashley has went above and beyond with helping us pick our perfect selections. She listens and works hard to get you exactly what your looking for. When it came time for install we were blown away again by the professionalism of their installers and the tile work that was done was better then we imagined. It was perfect. We looking forward to using divine for all of our future renovations.

I had a few dings that I did on my hardwood laminate floor and thought I was going to have to tear up some of the floor to replace the planks. I called this place as it was the manufacture of my floor and talked to a guy Ben to see alternative ways. He was super nice and told me I needed a concealment kit. He tracked down my hardwood and made a kit and it worked great. Saved me a ton of time. Couldn't of asked for a better person to deal with. Thank you Ben.

Very happy and would highly recommend. Anthony in particular was so helpful in guiding us to make the right flooring choice for our home renovation. And the vinyl plank flooring after 6 months is still looking just like it did when it was installed. Thank you!

Rarely does a company exceed ones expectations. From the minute we walked into the showroom and met Kevin until the product was installed and cleanup complete we were "floored" every step of the way. After replacing the original floor in our 58 year old home with professionally installed "last a lifetime" laminate 3 times in 18 years I was told by a friend to try vinyl and use Divine. I was skeptical.dogs, kids, sports equipment, water in the kitchen, tools, work boots, etc have all contributed to the demise of our floors. Our experience with Divine and the final result has been amazing. Most of all my wife loves this floor!

We had a condo renovation project that required new flooring. We researched several types of flooring options with several companies and decided that vinyl flooring was our best option.
Divine flooring won out on all fronts from the estimate, pricing, sales staff, communication, and install over the competition by a wide margin.
Tyler was the initial contact person for the quote and ran point from start to finish. Very responsive communication with myself and the rest of the team to coordinate all the necessary condo paper work and scheduling with floor prep people and installers.
I would highly recommend if you are looking for new flooring that you do yourself a favor and take the time to setup a meeting with Divine Flooring, you wont be disappointed.

Divine flooring put in the naturally oiled hardwood floors in our new build home. We've been having problems with these floors permanently staining with every little thing that happens to spill. Divine flooring has yet to do anything to help other than try to sell us more products. We bought their cleaning kit which doesn't work on these floors to remove anything. We've been in the house for 3 months now and the floors already look horrible. Not conducive to living at all. I highly recommend going with another floor company for better customer service.

I have an issue with the Haro Flooring where it swells, cracks and peels off. Divine says it's from excessive water which is not the case and the laminate is in the kitchen? They tell me its the best flooring you can buy. I have contacted the manufacturer and they say they talk to Divine and Divine says its not normal use. I have asked what normal use is in a kitchen and nobody will explain, they just chose to ignore. I have no animals and no children, I am a very good housekeeper and yet they still cannot explain, but for years I have been told laminate is more durable, but in fact is it worse than hardwood in my experience. Divine I feel does very poor installation as the flooring I have is defective and the installers shorted on some lengths which do not go to the cabinets. I spoke with a salesperson in showroom (Tyler) and he says I should not have these problems. Of course I was a customer asking simple questions. So Divine says they will fix floor for $150.00 but I do not feel it is my responsiblity. The product is defective. I have used many flooring companies over the years and Divine doesn't even compare for quality workmanship. The carpets you see the underlay set back about an inch, you feels the nails under the carpet near doors. All those things I never complained about, but when push comes to shove they do not care. Its all about greed in my opinion.
