This branch is not even deserve a single star. After my company made a reservation tried to phone them several times but no answer. I went there by foot hoping to get the vehicle on reserve but guy told they don’t have any vehicle available. What a joke, why they even have a reservation in placed if they don’t have any thing available? This branch is not recommended at all!

Well it started with me scheduling a time for pick up from my dealership. They took over an hour after the pick up time and had to be called several times. They are 2 min drive from the dealer. I was late for work. Then they tried to give me the opposite thing that id rented. I booked a truck they wanted to give me a small compact car. I had to be driven to another place to get what id booked. Then the truck they gave me broke down in -40 weather. They told me it was my responsibility to have it towed if i didnt want to be responsible for it. I then had to find a ride at 11 pm to get to the airport before midnight to give them the keys so I wouldn’t be further responsible for it. They gave me a moving truck to drive home with on the highway in a snow storm with bald tires and no heat. I missed my appointment in the morning because of the new rental. They agreed to trade it. (I missed more work) then i get a call that there is damage to the first rental and ill have to pay to repair it. I called the mall it was towed from (for the security footage) and the tow truck dented it. They told me not to worry about it. There was apparently a ticket on the truck and they tried to charge me for it. Months later after saying it would be taken care of they sent me to collections. I missed more work to have to go there and ask them again to deal with the issue. I email him to ask if its been resolved and ghosted again! The absolute worst nightmare for renting in a situation that was already dreadful. The sales guy asked me to write them a good review.for what?

I rented a car and when I pointed out previous damage- I was told it was small (ball sized) so not to worry about it. On return they blamed me for it and sent me a bill. See you in court you crooked thieves.

Dont rent a car from here in the winter unless you want a serious accident. They cheap out on tires. Then hang up on you when you try to call and tell them if the car slides backwards and does not hold the road properly on a hill. I will be sueing you for all charges laid forward in my name because you cant figure out a way logistically to put safe driving tires for winter on your rentals. Unacceptable!

I wish I could rate this as zero. Absolutely some of the WORST customer service I have ever experienced, especially from an "assistant manager". I have been in the service industry for well over a decade and have never treated a "customer or guest" the way the assistant manager treated me. Something that could have taken literally a minute took 20 minutes of arguing with a "manager". Extremely unprofessional way of approaching business and the public. If you choose to rent here avoid dealing with "Jay Patel" the manager of the branch "Monish Bhavsar" is the one to deal with as he actually knows how to do his job and handle the public. This has been my FIRST time renting a vehicle from this establishment and will likely be my very last.

Just a bunch of dishonest staff work there. They claimed they only need 10 mins or less to sanitize the vehicle between uses of different customers. I doubt it very much, I could smell the body odour and found hair left from the last customer when I sat in my rented vehicle. I don't think they have sanitized the interior thoroughly, may be according to their lousy standard, they would consider the level of cleanliness is acceptable. I would refrain myself from using their rental vehicles unless I enjoy catching covid or other diseases.

Very unimpressed with this locations abilities to answer the phone when trying to be picked up or coordinate a drop off of my rental. The rental was not cleaned as they state with there messaging on the phone as there clean guarantee. I will not be renting from this location again due to the poor communication. Where is no.we pick you up when you don't answer your phone.isn't that your slogan? !? !

It was the excellent customer service that I recieved from enterprise. The Assistant manager name Jay was very helpful he went above and beyond to help me out. I came on Saturday after they close at around 12: 30pm and doors were locked so I went around the back at the key drop box and they were cleaning cars but he was kind to ask me do I need any help and I explained him that I have a reservation and I need vehicle he helped me out. He was amazing. He is a one of the best manager I have seen in my life.

My family and I recently visited Edmonton and rented from Enterprise.

The Manager and his staff were very professional, courteous and helpful…really flexible and understanding. They provided us with 5 star service!

I've never had someone try to convince me that a car was in perfect condition as the guy who did the inspection with me. Even when scratches on the body and chips in the glass were clearly visible, he'd say "as you can see it's perfect". And he repeated himself over and over again even though he knew it was not the case. Either he's the sketchy one or the location tells each employee to say this. Whatever the case, be sure to take pictures to document any damages before you take the vehicle because it feels inevitable that you'll end up with "extra charges" upon your return

Don't rent a car here! I rented the car a online and received a confirmation and had the Enterprise ReadyPass confirming pick up time at 12: 00 noon. I had not knowledge that they closed at 12: 00 noon. I went around back to the key drop off where I was told rudely by the employee I should have known they were closed at 12 noon and that the couldn't help me. I don't want more people to have the same bad rental experience as me, so don't rent a car here

While CarStar was repairing our vehicle, we rented a car from Enterprise. When my husband returned the vehicle in the evening to CarStar, he forgot to take out my sunglasses from the centre panel. The possibility of not getting my glasses back stressed me out. The following day, I explained the situation to Enterprise, and they swiftly found and returned my costly shades; I appreciated the honesty and the customer service experience. Thank you!

The one of the best locations I have ever rented. When I arrived at the location it was super busy atleast 10 people waiting ahead of me and only 2 people working. There was a manager Jay Patel, he was super awsome. He handled the situation very well he was the best manager the way he handled the situation. I came to know that he is a Assistant Manager but I am pretty sure he will be a great manager at higher position.
I hope my word reaches to the higher authorities

They did not have the vehicle I reserved or an equivalent to it. Ended up with a much smaller vehicle that does not really accommodate our needs. The employee helping us took a phone call from an employee at another branch, in the middle of dealing with our transaction and stayed on the phone talking the entire time and did not give us the opportunity to ask questions, nor did he explain the charges to us, or offer us the additional coverage (which we were wanting). I ended up having to cancel the payment transaction to get the to get the employee to actually speak to us and get the coverage on. Was annoyed that we didn't receive anywhere close to the vehicle reserved (over a month in advance), but the lack of customer service was the real kicker.

Don't rent a car here! ! ! Don't rent a car here! ! ! The manager here should be fired! ! We rented the car a month ago and will pick it up on August 1st. As early as when I rented the car, I checked that it was open on august 1st. But, they told us a day before our trip that they were closed on Mondays. Our itinerary was completely disrupted. The manager here are very rude, he canceled our appointment without my consent during the process of calling them to communicate. And the manager also claimed to never rent us a car in the future because we asked too much and hung up our phone. This should not be an attitude towards clients and the management here should be fired. I don't want more people to have the same bad rental experience as me, so don't rent a car here

At one time I would have given 5 stars but then I had this extremely frustrating experience with a cracked windshield. When I rented the vehicle the car had no visible crack that I could see but as I drove a crack began to form from the side of the windshield. I was driving slow as was everyone else because it was a snowstorm and there was no stone that hit the windshield or anything. My best guess is that there was a small chip or crack started from the side of the windshield that I couldn't see yet when the inspection was done. When I explained this to the representative they just said it was my fault because they have no record of the crack on the outgoing inspection. The windshield cost me $1000 to replace. I have been a loyal customer who had never damaged their vehicles and I have rented every 2-4 weeks for seven years but none of that loyalty matters. Moral of the story.scrutinize everything and have them record everything (even if they say it is too small to worry about)! Check the edges of the windshield to make sure there is no chip or crack starting because otherwise you might get dinged for something that wasn't your fault.

I had rented from enterprise on 99 street Edmonton Canada previously and had no issues. Their customer care at the branch never answers and they don't have a voicemail set up. My card was declined so they called me and I had covid so couldn't return it and their employee Jay was accommodating initially and I was in constant touch with them but they said they will have to move the matter to collections. Even after me telling them I was on call with my bank as I lost my wallet. I am never again renting from enterprise. They have huge trust issues

Recently rented a car from this location. My flight was delayed for 3 hours. I finally managed to get there right before they close. The original reservation was rented by other people, but they still keep one similar car for me and offer me a good discount due to switch to smaller size. I was very happy. The process is quick and simple. I return the car after 3 days and it was a great experience! For sure I will renting from here when visit Edmonton. By the way, Tan is a great guy to deal with.

Excellent customer service, i was really impressed when one gentleman (i forgot his name) working there call uber driver to drop me off as their driver was not available, he is a good example

Really bad customer service. I booked my car for cheaper price online. All the sudden Sim Patur, called me and said, they have no cars available. They cancel my reservation and given to someone. Sim Patur was yelling at me when I was asking about this issue. Do not recommended this place to anyone always not the price they telling you.

Our car broke down a week ago driving into Leduc where we live so we rented a car from the Thrifty at the airport for 10 days assuming our engine would be fixed by then. We found out we would need another week so we contacted Thrifty about extending our rental, and they wanted to charge us over $400 a day to extend our rental. That is outrageous, so the alternative they gave us was to drop the car off and rent a new car. So my husband drove the rental car, with our infant car seat, to the airport to drop it off and rent a new car, only to be told “whoops actually we have no cars. ” It’s 4pm and we need to pick up our daughter from daycare shortly. I called the phone number listed for this Enterprise location, I spoke with the very friendly woman on the phone and explain her situation and asked her if it would be possible to rent the car right that moment. She says of course, that will be no problem, and immediately finds us a Toyota Camry and says we can rent it for the next 5 days for $800. I pass this on to my husband and tell him to take a Uber to the enterprise from the airport and go pick up a car I had reserved. I took a cab from our house to the daycare to meet up with our daughter and plan to just wait around until my husband could come pick us up with the new rental car and car seat.

My husband shows up to the Enterprise location only to be told by the manager that you cannot book rental cars on short notice, they have no rental cars available, and that the number I called actually redirected me to a call centre in the United States who apparently have absolutely no idea what’s going on in any of the individual car rental dealerships in Canada. So my husband spent $40 on an Uber to basically be told to go eff himself after we had a CONFIRMED car reservation. My husband had to really push them and the manager finally agreed that he would give my husband a ride back into Leduc, but in the meantime I had to walk home for an hour in the rain with our baby because my husband had our car seat. After waiting over an hour after close, my husband managed to convince the Kia dealership that had our car to pay for him to take an Uber back home because he had no idea when the enterprise manager was going to drive him. The management and staff at Enterprise didn’t seem to have a care in the world about how much their extremely flawed customer service system impacted our day and how much money it cost us. Absolutely disgraceful, I have never in my life been treated with such careless disregard by a business.

Not impressed. Booked a car on phone for the next day, and the day i need to pick up car they called to tell me sorry they didn't have a car for me. I give them credit card details as well they provide me enterprise pass as well to pickup the car
But know they saying they don’t have car
Put me In really big trouble
I don’t understand how does it work

I booked a rental car here in this location, as a "YOU CLICK, WE PICK " on April 8th, if they pick, that means, customer service should be good, I went there 10 30am they showed me a car, but inside and outside is dirty, I call them to show them, they cleaned but that car is on my shoulder I can see on the top car, still there is dust on top, inside air blow places also dirty. After that I get the key and run on the road, likely I'm in the city, not out of town, that day is Edmonton temp is +24, I on A/C inside the car, I got lots of dust came from air points all over in the car, after some time, that a/c is not working, only fan working. I call them on road, they say come get a new car, I'm volunteering to drop off food for seniors. When came to the south, I show them, that is a machinery fault, that is not their responsibility, if you did not like it, they change the car, that's it. I ask them if I'm out of town, then what you guys do. It's not happened now, just come and change the car, their answer, I'm not recommending anymore on that center. No responsibility, they say they can give me 30 CAD back, but they charge me back on gas 10 CAD. They that is the rule, but they're not follow the rules, on how to do customer service. I'm not recommending their services.

Cars are in such rough shape here. They lend out cars with 35000kms scratches dings dents damage everywhere. They tell you not to worry about the damage when you leave then charge you for small damages. Im being forced to pay for a side view mirror that was damaged before i picked it up and that the plastic started crumbling and im being held liable for this damage. BEWARE OF THIS SHADY ENTERPRISE RENTAL LOCATION. Ive rented cars my whole life from avis and hertz and never had an issue.

The worst experience I ever had. Mr. Birj the branch manager is extremely biased towards his fellow east Indians. No matters how many times you make a reservation at his branch, if you are a brown from east indian you will receive a voice messages saying that no car is available. I have made reservation on different occasions just to make sure that what I am thinking could be wrong. Luckily he proved everytime that I am 100% right. Yesterday, when I arrived to pick up my car, I had been told the same story. I told him as there was a reservation so I dont care, where you get the car but I need it now. Very reluctantly he contacted to a few different places and found me a car. The management of Enterprise need to look in to it. I am also filing a formal complaint with Human rights commission and Enterprise Corporate office.

Received a very warm welcome by the customer service rep Zaccaria as soon as we entered the store. Our car was not available at the time of pick and he was aware of our requirement and have started to work on it even before we were there. He acknowledged our booking without having looked into reservation system as soon as I mentioned my name “that was very impressive” and arranged the car within reasonable wait time.
The manager also walked up to us and had a very pleasant conversation which added great value to the service.
It was our first time at this location and were very happy with the service.
Will definitely come back again and recommend friends too.

Had rented a car from them.at argyll.approved by my car insurance. When I got the car the gas was not full. Took a picture of the gas level for reference on how much we should fill it when we return it. On the day that i had to return it we fill it up as on how much gas we got it. When I received my deposit I was surprised that I only got $48. Phoned them and they said they charge me $101.00 cuz the gas was only 1/2 full. No matter what I said they dont beleive. So guys next time take a picture of the gas level when you return the car. I dont recommend them at all. Also take a look at the windsheild clisely. When they handed it to us they didnt even mentioned that there was a stone chip on the front windsheild.that was obviously had been treated. Good thing we saw it right away on our way home. Took a picture and told them about it. Maybe if we didnt notice it. We might have ended up with a big bill for something that's not even our fault.

Very good services. Friendly staff.
Damaged car repairing in auto shop. Staff picked up to the shop to have the rental car. After returned the rented car, staff gave a ride to the auto shop to have the repaired car.
The only problem now, no new car available to rent out at the moment.

I and my friends booked reservation twice here. First time, they did not have the car ready and delayed for 6 hours from the time I booked. Second time, they called and left the voicemail to cancel my reservation at last minute without any explanation. Worst costumer service and no respect for customers’ time. We will be never renting a car from this company again.

Brij is awesome. The entire staff is awesome. I rented out a Luxury SUV and couldn’t get a replacement as I was in BC and Brij went out of the way to make calls and try to help me. Ultimately, he compensated me for the troubles. Always rent at this location and will choose to.

All the staff is very energetic and enthusiastic.

DONT WAST YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY!

This is a review regarding the company as a whole. I have been in contact with this company for over 6 months now as they are trying to charge me twice for a chip in the windshield of a car I rented at this location. I had no issue paying the damage (over $400). But somehow they have no idea where the money went. I have proof of payment and they have threatened me multiple times to charge twice. I have been in contact with better business bureau and they are choosing to hide. Please NO ONE USE THIS COMPANY! They force their customers to correct their mistakes and take no accountability.

I would appreciate to be contacted by the head office as this is absolutely unacceptable!

My go to car rental when I need one. They have increased their credit card hold but still the lowest among the competition. Customer service is great being easy to book and get your rental out of the lot.

I want to give a Huge shout out to Chad McCann at the Edmonton South location. At the time of the return of my rental vehicle Chad was awesome. He greeted me inside the location and was very friendly and professional. We went outside and did the walk around and recap of the rental return. He was asking me all about my trip that I was on, while my vehicle was in the body shop. He asked how everything went with the repairs on my vehicle as well. He was personable and caring. He went above and beyond in all ways and I look forward to dealing with him again in the future.

Never again. Terrible company, unethical and opportunistic. They have perfected a facade of courtesy while actively doing everything they can to disadvantage and take advantage of customers. My rental sustained damage due to an accident which was not my fault and this company has been nothing short of a nightmare to deal with, additionally claiming damage to the windshield (there was none) and tried to charge me personally for a replacement they authorized without providing any evidence of damage or their rationale. Obtuse and nearly impossible to reach for communication. Overall an unethical, inefficient, poorly-managed business which doesn’t deserve anyone’s time or money.

I recently rented a car from this branch and I was impressed with how well the rental process went. Louis did an great job and went beyond and above to provide great service. He even noticed we had a couple of large suitcases and brought the car next to our luggage.

Great service by the staff. They were professional and helpful. Also, they were able to upgrade our vehicle in same price. Only feedback I have is that the car was only cleaned from outside and not inside. Hope it will improve next time.

Terrible experience with this enterprise agency! Turned my mood off ryt before family trip.

I booked my car using 'You Click We Pick'. This option lets them give any car they want from car to a VAN. I usually get an SUV when book through other car companies and use this option all the time.

This agency wanted to give me smallest car available on their lot. Let alone an SUV. He was asking me to pay more in order to upgrade to a bigger car or SUV which i ended up doing at the end. He said, if u wanted a specific type of vehicle, u should have booked that. I would understand, if they did not have SUV available. He just wanted me to pay more for a little upgrade. And this was after i was in line for 20 minutes

When i left their lot and check the SUV rental price again for new rental from Enterprise for the same days. This SUV was available for the price i originally booked it for. I feel like getting ripped off.

I understand, its their choice to pick a vehicle for us. However, upgrade to something customer want wouldnt hurt. And i was not asking something Fancy but just a regular SUV.

Sorry, but an unhappy customer. Wouldnt return to this enterprise again!

Friend rented car for day and didn't take insurance. When he took it back they tryed to claim a little chip in bumper as damage. And tryed to charge him 500. If you rent take pitures of the car top to bottom. I have used them before not had this issue as insurance was covering car while mine was is shop. Very discouraging. I made a fuss and they backed down. So take pictures. And then more pitures

My family and I have rented a few times from the 99th location. Harpal has gone out of his way each time to make sure we are satisfied. Great customer service and always friendly! Well definitely be renting from him in the future!

Ash is fantastic! I needed a rental while my vehicle was being repaired. While helping Ash did awesome but most importantly he remembered my name the few times i called he knew who i was the moment i came to drop the vehicle off and when i forgot something in the vehicle he made sure i got it back. He really did go above and beyond
