Did not even wanted to give 1 star as there are no wordd to describe how bad the service is from manager to staff. No effort, no apology, ego is to high, arrogant, big mouth. Not to mention how that manager does not hold her promise right Jasmine. These are your words. Can you come at 0800 am we will get you an SUV and also switch on your phone at 0745 as we will call you. All of you are LIARS.

No call received and no car delivered. This branch is a disgrace to Enterprise Brand.

I booked a car for 10am but the guy at the location change the time on his own to 8 am and when I got there they said we gave your car to someone else. Technically it's based on first come first serve not reservation

Our family walked almost 40 min here to get our car, and they had no car here for us and continued to say he will most likely have no car for us with no time frame to let us know if we would even have a car at all for the weekend. Terrible, terrible service.

They don't like to answer the phones. They don't pick you up or call to advise when they are not coming. When thay do answer the phone you get put on hold until the line hangs up on you. The worst customer service I ever had. I also tried calling 12 times over a 4 hour period.

And Listen conversation calls. Between customer and you? Between customer and your workers Then you will know what happened in enterprise world.
Every insurance company used this brand.

First of all, the service was good.picking up customers and driving them to a destination is what makes Enterprise stand out. The pick up and drop off was quick and staff were good. So why two stars? Because their vehicles are terribly cheap, entry level vehicles that are not good for longer rentals like getting your car repaired after an accident. I had a luxury SUV and got an entry level sub-compact Buick Encore as a recommended rental. It was tiny, no amenities whatsoever, underpowered, with a terribly dirty windshield (inside) and no winter tires. I picked it up on a cold (-30), icy day and it was a bit scary driving it around.

So good service, but the product itself is a big problem, and that's the whole point to a car rental service.the car. They desperately need to improve their fleet or I will not return as a customer.

Well so far terrible. I have car repair at Boyd and needed a rental for my.job marketing. Was supposed to get a comparable suv. Nope. I got micro suv not same. Then a truck that reaks of gasoline in cabin. Try to exchange and call ahead to facilitate this. Nope must go back for a 3rd time. This is bloody nuts.

Staff made excellent effort to accommodate but the cars being offered for rend definitely need an improvement. I had to switch 3 cars in one day at the end i end up canceling rental all together.
First car had strong smoke smell, second squeaking noice wile reverse braking, third had a big chip in the front windshield. Also I was charged for gas even though I filled the tank with same amount I used for a day.
On the plus side I did receive 20% discount for next time to use in any location.

I don't understand when I go to get a vehicle I have to pay more insurance and then when I don't want to pay that insurance I cannot rent a car. The accident I had was a hit and run not my fault and yet I'm being ding with all this more money to pay. What is scam this is not fair. I work for a company and they refused me of vehicle because I wouldn't pay

After all this time since this incident has happened I could finally say what hurt me. When he was finished asking me if I was going to pay and I replied I don't have the money. He then asked me for three references.at this time in my life I do not have any my friends have moved away from the city. So I do not have any references in the city.and then I told him not to hold this against me. He then asked me again for references and I said I don't have any. Well we can't rent you our vehicle then was his reply. I then walked away got the person who drove me here from The Body Shop who then drove me back to the body shop I went into my van and started driving home. On the way home I started crying and couldn't stop I had to pull off the side of the road for a while. This hurt me bad. And it still hurts.

These guys are GREAT! I would give more stars if I could. I picked up the rental last week, I was picked up from my house (Thank you Shourya)!

The whole rental process is rather swift if you’ve checked in using the texts they send btw. The Apple CarPlay wasn’t working on the car with my phone, and (-special thanks to Suyash who spent a few minutes trying to make it work. Then someone else came out to help (sorry I don’t remember his name but thank you) who had an IPhone. He plugged his phone in, and mine started working right after.

When I returned the rental, all of them remembered my name and greeted me (these guys are polite and friendly). And then the whole checkout process took less than 5 minutes and I got dropped off at my house!

Thanks so much guys, I’ll be back soon for whenever I to rent a car again. You guys have a very HAPPY customer (me!).

Worst experience ever! I’ve rented vehicles from them a lot even as of two days ago I had a rental from them, however today for some reason they refused to do it cause my credit card isn’t active hahaha never going back and I would never suggest it to anyone. Actually my wife works at a dealership and they use them (for now) anyways hahaha best of luck, go bankrupt for all I care!

Fantastic staff! Certainly the right attitude at this location. Car was clean and ran perfectly. Used the pick up service - all good (allow some buffer time if you have something your have to get to). Will be back to rent.

Worst car rental in Edmonton. I booked a car for Tuesday, got a call from them on Monday a few mins before closing that they were out of vehicles and couldn’t accommodate my reservation.
Called their 1-800 number and apparently the call centre is in South America and there isn’t much they can do but they said they sent my request to their managers. Today is Friday and still no word from them.
Called the 178th street branch again as my reservation was there and it’s just been stories every since.
I had to scramble to make it for my appointments.
I have another reservation booked for next week but suffice it to say that I am just going to cancel it.
Literally the worst.

Update: I have changed my rating to a 3 because the assistant Manager Suyesh was very accommodating and apologetic. The personnel are good, but the system needs to be fixed and shouldn’t allow folks to book when there are no vehicles available.

Been renting here since 2019, consecutive monthly. Had some issues here and there in the past but nothing that wasn’t rectified by the managers at that time.

The only downsides are the limited choice or availability of the vehicles and high employee turnaround. I see totally new faces every couple of months and have to build goodwill with them from scratch.

Overall great experience and the staff is friendly. My business was mostly appreciated and I am hoping to continue this relationship for years to come.

Most annoying thing is recently they've stopped filling the gas tank up all the way for pick up and it's a HUGE pain to try and gauge how much gas you need to put in to get it to 3/4 full to return it. I rent with them all the time for work and staff for the most part have been friendly and helpful. I prefer this location to other west side one and probably would have given them 4 or 5 stars a few months ago but service has gone down a lot lately. My last few visits I've had to wait at least 30mins past my reservation time due to my car being cleaned or needing registration or them having to bring one from another location. I understand there's a car shortage but really wish they would figure out a better scheduling system to ensure timely service like they use to. And fill the gas tanks all the way like they use to! Also beware of the ginormous pothole when entering the lot! Cars are clean and nice though.

Had a rental through insurance. Was booked for a compact SUV, however none were available at the time of pickup. After 4 phone calls over the course of the first week (including one from the insurance company), it was apparent they were unwilling to find one for me.

They were courteous and I got a compact sedan (Kia Forté) ; but I would have given 4 if they had even looked for a SUV. 5 if they had found one.

I needed to rent a vehicle while mine was getting some minor damage fixed. They promptly picked me up at the repair shop and had me in a clean rental and on my way quickly. I dropped off the rental a day ahead of schedule and they adjusted the price without hassle. They gave me a lift to the repair shop to get my repaired vehicle which was a convenience I appreciated.

Monish was incredible. It was a busy Sunday at 1145, and a tone of last minute customers came in (including me). Two of them were so rude demanding discounts and not having any deposit, I couldn't believe how badly they were treating your poor enterprise staff. But Monish never lost his cool. He de-escallated the situation. Yes, he gave me great service too, but he was above and beyond considering the treatment he got. 5 stars.

Worst place ever the people there are rude and dishonest the inside of the vehicle was dirty, this location is scamming people. This is not just my experience its also three other people that I know who were victims of this location! It's better to go anywhere else then renting from these thieves!

Had to leave a 150$ deposit with my visa debit card. Wasn't told until after I paid it that the refund comes in cheque form in 2 weeks after the rental is returned. I couldn't afford that wait time but was forced to after not being told how things work first. Then was charged almost 3$ per liter to replace the gas in the truck I couldn't afford to refill due to having the 150$ deposit not refunded to my card. So it cost my almost 100$ for half a tank of gas!
And I had to go through all this because some bad driver sideswiped my truck and it was in the body shop getting fixed at the time. All your company did was add insult to injury and cost my money I didn't have to spend! It's been a pretty bad start to the year for me as it is as this was an absolute kick while I'm down. Should honestly be ashamed of yourselves. But you won't be so what is this review even worth?

The vehicle I rented was nice. However, there was a miscommunication in what I was charged. It was very frustrating but the assistant manager helped me clear it up, though I don't believe the error should have occured in the first place.

First the experience was great from start till almost finished.there was a miscommunication that resulted in a balance owing.when confronted with this there assistant manager Lecan stayed very professional, even when i was not be a pleasant gentleman. I did always stay a gentleman just not always a pleasant one. He rectified the situation and made me and my sister a happy customer and we will be happy to return.

If I could give this location 0 stars I would. Their service is absolutely HORRIBLE! The woman (short, wears a head scarf) at the front desk is AWFUL! This is the second time we've dealt with her and she was unpleasant both times. We didn't think much of it the first time since it seemed busy and thought maybe she was just overwhelmed as it was only her and one other employee at the front desk. We dealt with her this past weekend again and this time it was to return a vehicle and she was rude and unpleasant. It felt as though that since we were returning the car, and had already paid, that we weren't deserving of decent customer service. She lied and stated that they weren't running shuttles due to COVID, but we had a shuttle come pick us up to pick up the rental vehicle, and had shuttle services for a rental we had a month or so ago. She stated that no one was available to drive my father home since there was only 2 employees working at the time. She did nothing to arrange a ride back home for my father, and there were in fact more than 4 employees that entered the premises while my father was waiting for a ride.

Others at the location are nice, and we've been regular customers at this enterprise location prior to dealing with her but she is ABSOLUTELY AWFUL!

Horrible! Not recomend.i did rent a car there because my insurance referred me here. My car is stolen so i dont have any credit card.only new debit card that i have and i get from bank right away.so when i did my deposit thru them.after 3wks i think. Then staff there told me they need to wait to pay my insurance before they gave back my deposit.after 1wk someone called me and said i need to wait in mailbox for another 2 weeks to get that cheque but until now still waiting.horrible experienced.i highly dont recommend this enterprise in this branch. I advice and not this happen to other.

Awful experience. I got a parking ticket and paid it. I showed proof of payment and everything. Enterprise is still charging me for the ticket and and extra $18 for an Administration Fee. I called to see if they would help me at the west end off and no one was willing to help me. I feel so used and taken advantage of. So know they are going to charge me for the ticket again. I will never use Enterprise again. Awful company.

I got a nice car, which a different fellow ‘very throughly’ checked over with me. I appreciated that he was being very careful, checking for any issues with the car. I felt Lekan had my best interests in mind, the way he dealt with me. The whole process was fast, professional, and without stress. Thank you)

Unprofessional, unethical, inconsiderate. A close friend rented a car for a week while his truck was in the shop. No pre-rental walk-around was performed with a representative nor was there any paperwork notifying the renter of any damage that was previously done to the vehicle. Upon returning the vehicle he was notified that there was damage done to the roof of the vehicle and that he would have to pay. It took two weeks of back and forth emails to finally uncover camera footage showing the damage that had been done to the vehicle was there before he picked it up from the rental agency. THIS KIND OF UNETHICAL BEHAVIOUR IS UNACCEPTABLE! The only reason the camera footage was released was due to his insurance agency getting involved. They clearly knew the damage was there and tried to pin it on him because they know that many people will not have the time or the will to fight back and uncover the scam. Before renting a car from Enterprise (or any rental company for that matter) MAKE SURE YOU DO A COMPLETE WALK-AROUND WITH THE PAPERWORK TO PROVE IT! Or else this type of situation will inevitably happen to you as well. He will not be renting from enterprise ever again. To enterprise on the west end, please do not feel the need to respond to this review, i am not interested in hearing an insincere apology. Thank you.

Avoid this business. They have absolutely the worst customer service. I reserved a vehicle for the next day, in which their site showed plenty of options. The car was reserved for noon on Sunday for a week long trip, when we arrived, the lady at the desk took my name and said there is no car available. The lady said that she tried calling, one time, at 7: 30 in the morning on a Sunday, and did not leave a message. I asked her if she could help us find another option at another branch and she just said they're all closed now and there might be a different rental company down the street, but is pretty sure they're closed too. And that was it. We had to scramble to find other options, and did, we were helped and offered a better vehicle for a cheaper price at AVIS. The complaint was made to the district manager, but he/she didn't try to reach out so I'll leave this review. I hope it helps the next customer avoid the hassle we did.

Try calling more than one time, leave a message if there is something wrong, and actually help your customers, because you did not even try the bare minimum of customer service. I won't be using Enterprise ever again.

I booked a truck, but when I got there they told me that the system had made an error and booked a truck that wasn’t available. They said this through a halfway open door, they didn’t even come outside to address me. They said they called me, but I never got the call. When I told them that I needed the truck to move some furniture, they said there was nothing they could do, the lady said sorry, and closed the door on me. I understand that we are going to a pandemic, but you could at least help me find a solution to my problem. Especially, considering that the error was made by enterprise, not me. After this experience I will probably look for another company to rent a car.

Enterprise was great! I was driving a 2019 Ford Fiesta for about a week or so. It was very clean when I got it, and drove well! Such a nice little car! I loved it! They only thing I wish I could change about my experience would be their policy on Debit refunds. They send a cheque via snail mail, instead of processing the refunds in store. Over all, great experience, and the staff was personable and friendly.

This has to be one of the top rental places we have been too. The hours are good and the staff are nice. This place seems to be customer service driven as we have yet to have a bad experience here. The only thing i would like to see is a bigger seating area as it gets cramped at times! Over all good job!

First rental I was given had summer washer fluid in the tank and had froze while I was using it and got suck driving with slushy, messy conditions without being able to clean the window. Hazard issue. Was offered to wait for the vehicle to thaw out or get a new vehicle. Opted for the new rental. Had a great experience the rest of my rental period.

They just dropped me at home which is nice. Returned the 2019 Dodge Caravan that we rented for a week at Jasper. The van handled 4 and our stuff easily!
Best price with AMA discount.
Return trip thru the very scenic Icefields Parkway to Banff.
The Van and Enterprise were just as good as could be!
