Sam was very helpful in explaining my rental agreement and checking my rental car. Nice customer service with their pick-up option. Didn't get it but nice they offer that option.
On my 2nd rental, Aisha was very helpful. Max is also nice to give me a ride back to Intact Service. Great team and service. Wish they are closer to my place in Mahogany SE, as they only have a 10-minute distance for pick-up and drop-off. Thanks again and hope your branch will continue the professional service I experienced from all of you.

The service at this location was top notch, however, dealing with head office has been terrible in comparison. They have not bothered to call me back after several attempts to contact them to help rectify a parking ticket that I received in the rental. There was a mixup in payment that they have not yet replied to help me fix, however, they have wasted no time in charging my credit card for a parking ticket that I have already contested.

Mixed feelings:) on the one hand there is a problem, on the other there is the manager's financial compensation. 4 * is the right rating:) I recommend it

My husband was very pleased with the service provided and would highly recommend enterprise to anyone it is nice to see that customer service above and beyond is still avaliable thanks enterprise on behalf of myself and husband

We reserved our vehicle 3 weeks ahead but when we were about to get the vehicle, we had to wait for almost an hour because they don't have any cars available.

The car they gave us had a broken windshield which was so annoying if you were the passenger.

The manager gave us a promo code to make up for it.

Still a disappointing experience.

Our experience at this location was as worse as it can get. We dealt with Lex and Aisha. The car we rented was inspected by Lex before being taken off the lot. We were told by Lex that the scratches on our car were too small to be considered damage and that this was documented before we took the car.

When we were returning the car two days later on July 14, Lex claimed that there was hail damage on the car, in addition to the aforementioned scratches that he assured us were documented. Aisha tried to make the case that the hail damage occurred at 4 PM in Calgary on the previous day, however, they did not have a response when we stated that we were in Banff at the time and there was no hail that day.

We were subsequently told we were going to have to use our insurance to pay. We had initially refused the insurance they offered; this was their way of making back the money of people who refuse their insurance. Let this be a lesson to others, either record your conversation about damage documentation or get another type of proof because Enterprise Rent-A-Car will turn around and make you pay for damages that were not yours.

UPDATE: It's been one month and no response from the email they provided under this review. Either they do not care enough about this issue or they know what they are doing is wrong.

A thank you to Aisha at the Fishcreek branch for solving a problem that was not hers.

The following comments are for the Calgary South Macleod Trail branch which our poor experience relates to.

In March 2023, we booked a pick up truck for a one way journey from Calgary to Vancouver. Our whole holiday is planned along this route. Fast forward to today, and when we arrived at Calgary South to pick up the truck we were told by the customer service agent that no truck was available. She said that the branch manager had tried to call and had emailed, and upon checking email we saw one had been sent at 11.11am this morning - just 50 minutes ahead of the scheduled pick up time. They shared in branch that unavailability was due to damage. We were shown a Ford Edge as the alternative and we agreed to this with the relevant reduction in price. Everything went through the system and we were waiting for the car to be sanitised to get started with our road trip.

Whilst waiting, the branch manager (Karlee Racine) came out of the office to say we could not have the car as we were coming up as a return booking. We shared our reservation email where it was clear that this was for Calgary to Vancouver but she said this could not be done and she had no cars for a one way trip. We explained our whole holiday is planned for Calgary to Vancouver and so we cannot do a return trip, and we reserved a car for a one way trip months ahead of this date.

I said that there is a branch down the road, so asked if they had anything for us. Karlee called and they said they could accept a transfer. She told them it was a return journey and said we needed to say the same too, and it would be fine for us to drop off the car at a Vancouver Enterprise as they would have to accept it.

Her colleague, Austin, then drove us to the Fishcreek branch where we did as Karlee told us, and the rep there said to return it to Fishcreek when done. Austin then mentioned how it was a trip to Vancouver. Again at Fishcreek there were no cars for one way journeys.

To be fair to Austin, he did apologise on behalf of his branch to us and Fishcreek. Aisha was excellent and resolved a problem of Karlee’s making - she spoke to her area manager who said the available car could be a one way rental and we agreed to take a sedan car as it was the only one available despite us booking something completely different five months ago.

Firstly, we do not understand why there was an error in our reservation on the Enterprise system.

Secondly, we could not have had two more different approaches to customer service from neighbouring branches. Whilst Karlee couldn’t seem to get rid of us quickly enough, Aisha and her colleague sorted out a mess that they unfairly inherited.

What should have been a seamless experience took almost two hours. Although not in the vehicle we booked, we are at least now on the road thanks to Aisha and her team.

Have used the Fish Creek location a fair bit. Great staff and well run branch. Would definitely recommend this location.

Update. After being that annoying customer and calling with multiple questions the staff at Shawnessy has been amazing. Thank you for being patient with my questions.
. Didn't give a 5 star only due to the last reservation miscommunication and holiday delay on everything. But they have definitely been nothing but great prior to my reservation and this very early morning.

Received the best service from this branch. Special shout out to Sam, Brent and Samina.

Easy pick up on Saturday for a weekend rental. Car was in great condition (CH-R) and the team were very easy to work with and does not nickle and dime. Dropped off at home promptly after return.

Honestly, if you are in the south looking for rental for whatever reason, or from anywhere in Calgary. Highly suggest checking here.

You can tell they care.

I am so impressed with this particular location. I was at a shop dropping off my car and they did not have a shuttle available for hours. Enterprise was next door so I went in to see if I could rent a car for the day. Unfortunately they had no vehicles available But they offered to drive me home. I was astonished, I was not even a customer of theirs. They would not accept any remuneration for this amazing act of kindness. Rest assured I will be renting from them when I need a vehicle in the future, so should you if you are in the Shawnessey area and need to rent a vehicle. Thank you so much for rescuing me that day.
