As a first time home owner and purchaser of flooring we came to this store not knowing what we were in for. When we arrived it was as you'd expect, flooring samples everywhere and we felt a bit overwhelmed, the store seemed fairly busy and even still a lady greeted us and asked if she could point us to the products we were looking for, and that she would be able to help us once she finished with her current customers, which brings me to my review.

Janet Price is her name and flooring is her game! What a wonderful experience. Janet was very helpful and had answers to all of our questions. Even on her day off we had questions and she was available for answers. I can't say enough good things about this company and this sales person. If you need flooring and you are anywhere between us (knowing very little) and a person who installs floors often, this is the only place I feel you need to shop. The amount of flooring variety and the knowledgeable staff make an otherwise scary and expensive ordeal seem effortless. I have had 3 separate dealings with the fine folks at Calgary Flooring Superstore and I can say with confidence that they will be my go-to, 1 stop shop for all things flooring! Now that these jobs are all done, I feel I can give an honest,  and well deserved review:

I first purchased flooring materials for a reno in my home last year with the help of Manley and the whole experience was awesome from the beginning. He was very down to earth and nothing like other sales people I have dealt with in the past. He helped me not only make an informed decision by taking the time to explain my options and show me the durability of the products I was considering, but also gave me a great price that had me speaking to him the next time I needed flooring.

The second time I came to Manley it was for a carpet install on the stairs of our home. Again, he showed me my options, helped me understand what my options were and once more hooked me up with a great price. The install was done by Larry, whom Manley spoke highly of, and when he showed up to our place to do the job he was friendly, quick, and did an outstanding job! An absolute gentleman.

The THIRD time I called up Manley I needed waterproof laminate installed in a condo we operate as a short term rental in Canmore; The same material I installed in my home during the first reno. I couldn't believe the durability and quality! This job needed to be completed quickly and well for a short turn over. The man delivered once more! He had Lucas this time come out to Canmore, provide a competitive quote, and when Lucas came back to do the job, completed it in only 2 days.

It was a great experience from The moment I walked into the store. Stephanie was amazing! She walked me through the process, answered all my questions and provided a detailed quote. They had a great selection and had it in stock. Oleg and his team of installers did a great job. Once flooring was installed, Stephanie called to check in and see how everything went. I would highly recommended Flooring Superstore!

We got flooring done by them in 2020 and 2021. Both times they significantly increased the cost (2x-3x) after they started installing the new floors. Two good estimate turned into two more expensive projects. Didn't think it could happen twice, which is why we went back. We got tile the second time and a couple years later the grout is coming out and some tiles cracked because they weren't set properly.

We were looking to replace about 1,000 sq ft of flooring in our home with Luxury Vinyl Plank and carpet in one bedroom. Faced with a few challenges that come with a very old, imperfect home, Flooring Superstore came through for us. The expertise of our Sales Associate, Janet, made decision making easy to choose the products that suited our home and existing cabinetry/trim. She kept our budget in mind at all times throughout the process and was always available to answer any questions we had. We received accurate quotes within a few days, the product was secured, and install was completed within three weeks of first visiting the store; an astonishing timeline. The store manager visited our home to assure us that the LVP would be fine over some uneven areas of our existing floors. Mike and his installation team were a pleasure to have in our home. What a hard working crew with excellent craftmanship and attention to details. The transformation is amazing and we love our old home again.

Janet was super helpful in getting LVP for our house build. She was very knowledgeable and got us a great price! We did it ourselves and was exactly how she said it would be. Thank you will definitely go here for any flooring needs.

If you wanted to buy a carpet from them please check everything 10 times before ordering and DO NOT TRUST THEM! Based on my recent experience they don’t know how to do their job!

Such good prices and service. Our sales guy Manny was the best. Not only were the prices great but our sales guy was helpful. He took the time to teach, explain, and show us how to do things. So good!

Great company with room for some improvements. They did a great job. There were some delays on installation of stairs due to custom nosing but it was resolved after a week. Some improvement around planning / assesment phase can mitigate similar issues for other customers. Primary sales person Steaphanie was very helpful. But when she was not around it was hard to get some updates or call backs from other associates. So I hope the company improves on that part. Also before you finalize product quotes, ensure to compare the quotes with other vendors with similar rating and then finalize. I chose this company due to the primary sale's person's confidence and attitude as well being able to match what the other vendor was charging for materials. The installers they chose were very knowledgable and good at their job.

Manley was great to work with! He gave us a ton of options to stay within our budget. Flooring at our new gym, Tried & True Jiu Jitsu, looks amazing!

My first experience with this as a new flooring install (vinyl plank throughout my townhouse) could have been hair raising if not for Manley’s exceptional - and amiable - approach. He worked on getting me the best bang for my buck without skimping on quality, made sure I was going to be happy with the colour I’d decided on, had the installation booked in short order and kept me in the loop through the entire process.

I opted to add-on new matching furnace duct vent covers as well as new baseboards, both of which I’m very happy with.

And the installer did a super job, professional and expert in the solutions to my home’s little problem areas, which were finished with perfection. He and the crew were very hard workers!

It’s been over 2 months since installation and after several weather changes, with the furnace on a couple of times, I haven’t found any shrinkage or other fault.

Manley had us sold the minute we walked in the door. We had gone to another flooring store but chose to go with Flooring Superstores Calgary simply because of Manley and his sales service. He was friendly, fun and super knowledgeable. He made things happen for us super quick from ordering the product and getting it shipped in less then a week to getting the measurements done next day. Trying to find flooring that met my condo’s specifications was a little challenging but Manley knew exactly what products to choose. He made the process super easy. Product was available quickly, install was set up within a couple weeks.
I had gross carpet in the living room/ bedrooms and tile in the kitchen/entrance.

I have chosen flooring superstores as my flooring provider twice now and couldn't be happier!

The first time was while renovating my neighbors rental and needed carpet. The sales person, Manley, was great! He was able to help pick out a colour that was durable, easy to install and budget friendly. He sent someone over the next day to take precise measurements and the next day the carpet and pad was delivered. My neighbors had already hired an installer but flooring superstores does have their own installers if needed. I actually had to hire one of their installers to come make a few repairs after the initial install was done poorly by third party. They also provided a 3D floor design of the whole house as well as a cut and layout design for every room with only 15sqft of waste for 700+ sqft, 3bed, 2 stairway, 2 hall design. This service was complimentary!

Most recently we have decided to replace all flooring in our home with vinyl plank and of course I went to Manley who once again helped choose a great colour and brand. He listened to my concerns and answered questions. We were able to take full plank samples home to compare. We decided on XL Flooring looselay LVP. I can't wait til it arrives next week.

I had an exceptional experience with this company. I bought a condo and had to remove the old carpet and opted for vinyl plank for the living space and new carpet for bedrooms. I worked with Stephanie and the advice and attention to my buildings requirements as well as budget were all respected and kept in mind. She was very friendly and I never felt like I was being pushed to buy something, and they let take home samples to make sure it worked with the colour scheme of my condo. The installer was very quick and professional, and had the job done in 2 days. I would absolutely recommend this company for anyone, but especially for first time renos as they made my experience comfortable and exciting.

What an amazing first time experience. Walked in on a Sunday morning and was immediately greeted by Michael who took the time to understand our situation and suggest the perfect solution on the spot. My wife and I were looking to have our basement floor re-done to remove some old carpet with luxury vinyl and after looking at a few flooring companies around Calgary, we landed with Flooring Superstore. Staff were friendly and helpful from the beginning in showing us some different luxury vinyl samples at different price points and were able to take home some samples to compare the samples in our basement. Michael was helpful and collaborative in providing measurements and quotes along with updates once we choose to go with Flooring Superstore.

We did experience some delays in obtaining the flooring supplies due to the recent supply chain issues around Canada, but Michael was great from the start in coordinating the work and keeping us in the loop in terms of timelines. The quoted prices that we received from Michael were very competitive to other competitors and we felt that the timeliness of the quotes and updates were a major deciding factor to go with Flooring Superstores.

The installers that came to our house were quick in removing the old carpet and installing the new luxury vinyl. Oleg was great in showing some areas were we had some paint or base board chips, but we were expecting to do some touch ups once the base boards had to be move down due to the carpet being set higher previously.

We ordered laminate flooring from Flooring Superstores, Calgary for our entire main level of our home that we are renovating. Unfortunately, through no fault of the store, the laminate that we chose was out of stock and the manufacturer kept moving the date forward for delivery. After a long wait we finally decided to cancel our order and with the aid of our salesperson picked out laminate made by a different manufacturer. We’re so glad that we did because the laminate flooring was delivered within a week and it looks superb in our home. The crew that installed our flooring were absolutely fantastic. The head installer’s name is Simon and I highly recommend requesting that he be the installer for anyone buying from this company. I tip my hat to Simon and his very qualified crew and I would also like to mention that our salesperson Stephanie was super helpful, friendly and professional. The company has a great selection and competitive prices. I am very happy that we bought our flooring from this company.

With that being said we were incredibly happy we decided to go with them for our whole house flooring needs (LVP (SPC) and carpet). It was a pleasure dealing with Michael as he is very knowledgeable. We went to the flooring superstore one weekend to just check out what they had. We weren't sure if we wanted to re do our flooring at that time, but wanted to look around, see what was out there. We met Matt and he didn't pressure us about anything, he asked what we were looking for, showed us some good selections and let us snoop around for a bit. A couple weeks later we ended up going back with an idea in mind, and he was so helpful to give us a great product within our budget. We LOVE our new floors, they are spectacular - We used to have laminate which was great for everything you can imagine- except water! We wanted something that could hold up just as good and had a resistance to water - We found it here! We purchased multi color wood vinyl and it turned out incredible! We couldn't be happier with the end result!
