Paul helped us choose our flooring for the main floor and basement of our home. He was very informative and easy to deal with.
Wade and family were friendly and a pleasure to work with. They did a wonderful job installing our engineered wood flooring and carpeting. They were helpful, efficient, professional and irregularities were not a problem.

We are so happy with our recent experience with Flooring Superstores. Everyone at the store was so helpful and Boyd really helped us out a lot by getting our project done quickly as we are expecting a baby soon! The carpet and underlay are really great quality, it was for our basement and it's so comfy you cannot tell there is cement underneath. Highly recommend this store!
Edit: wanted to add that their installers were great as well! River City Flooring did ours and they did an exceptional job for a very fair price.

Paul is a great sales associate, he knows his stuff and is easy and pleasant to deal with. He arranged for Wade, Connie and Jarod to do install and their service and workmanship was awesome. They honoured the install price even though we ran into some unforeseen issues. Would highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience. Went in knowing little, came out quite well informed. Excellent selection and extremely helpful with everything we needed from carpet to vinyl plank. Ryan was extremely helpful. Will be back for all of our flooring needs and would definitely recommend FSE to everyone!

We haven’t bought much flooring in our lifetime, but we shopped around and found the same products everywhere. What sold us on Flooring Superstores (75st.) was Paul, a former installer now in sales, who answered our many questions with patience, and without condescension, and was always available for advice during the installation. Thanks Paul. Our floor turned out great.

Good selection and prices. The two sales associates I spoke with were very helpful and friendly (Boyd and Paul).

Buyers be aware, 75 CAD for in home estimate. Which is fine, home depot charge ca 63 CAD for onsite estimate. There are flooring companies do free onsite estimates though.
I was not made aware of the fee. Sale rep.thought I am going with them, which I never promised, I just wanted an estimate. The communication was off a bit.

Super knowledgeable staff and great prices on flooring. All the sales staff helped me hand bomb the boxes of vinyl planks into my vehicle. Very good experience.

We came down from Fort McMurray to pick out some carpet for our downstairs reno's. We spoke with Aaron who was super helpful and even helped my husband understand the easiest and correct way to lay the carpet. Aaron did not upsell or be pushy in any way! We would definitely come back to buy more supplies for the house.

Amazing staff and great installer! Recently purchased and had carpet installed in our basement by Flooring Superstores and after visiting several big box stores and a few "discount" carpet stores we decided to go with Flooring Superstores.

Upon first visiting the store we were greeted promptly by Aaron who was not only very knowledgeable but took the time to make sure we found a carpet that met our needs. He was able to explain all the different types of carpet styles, materials and pros/cons to each. What we really appreciated is that he was not pushy like some of the sales staff at the other stores we had tried but treated us with respect and seemed sincere in helping us find what would work best for us. After seeing several samples we decided on one that would work for our basement. Aaron gave us a very clear and broken down cost for what our carpet and install would be which to our pleasant surprise was way below what the same product at the "discount" carpet stores. Setting up a time for install was done the same day and was quick and painless.

On install day, Aaron was also the person installing the carpet and showed up on time and explained the process in a kind and professional manner. What impressed us the most is that during the install, Aaron took the time to point out minor imperfections in my subfloor and laminate flooring that I had installed that would effect the outcome of the look of the carpet when installed if he had continued. Instead of blasting through the job to rush and get it done, he took the time to help me correct the mistake and ensure that we had the professional finished look that we wanted. Along the way he gave us pointers for caring for the carpet and things we could do to make it last as long as possible. As for the workmanship, the seams Aaron did are invisible and there is no bubbling or bunching up of the carpet. The stairs look great and all the edges are clean. Upon completion, Aaron made sure everything was cleaned up and left the site in great condition.

Ultimately we could not be more happy with our experience and would highly recommend Flooring Superstores and the great staff! Thanks for our beautiful new basement carpet!

To follow up on our review last month, we did have resolution from Brian our salesperson and the manager of the store. We never did hear back from Aaron the carpet installer but the store compensated us for the damages.

We live in leduc and had stopped in to look at some carpet. The sales rep was friendly and helped us on some prices along the way. Prices for the carpet was fair and the time lines worked out nicely.

The issues were once we setup the appraisal for install. We used the recommended contractor Aaron who came out and did a walk through. I asked if it was an tough job and he assured me it was an easy one.

We were leaving for Mexico and wanted to have the install done while we were away to come home to a finished feeling in the basement. A day after Aaron came in we got a call for payment from the sales guy for the flooring estimate. We did not get a quote from Aaron at all, my girlfriend had to message him and he just sent the day and amount for the install.

She asked for a break down on the quote and was called and verbally given numbers and information that was quick and didn’t make a lot of sense to her. We trusted the sales rep and booked him for a Monday, he mentioned he may be there to install the tack boards the Sunday before and we told him we have another contractor working that day too.

When we returned we were told that he was there all day Sunday working and that our other contractor wasn’t able to complete what he needed to do. We were also informed that while he was moving the carpet into the basement by himself through a window he ripped holes in the vapour seal and did not repair them.

When we looked around we noticed that Aaron had absolutely shredded 4 corners of our finished walls down to the metal. We also saw substantial scratches on two of the walls, and were not given a heads up by Aaron about either. We had also already paid his bill.

We reached out to Aaron to see how he wanted to proceed to repair the walls and he just told us that’s what happens and that’s that. We then asked for a receipt. He sent one, with a total and no break down. We asked for an itemized receipt and got an email with random info that didn’t even total up to his bill!

After looking into it, we were over charged on the stairs, and even though we were not given a gst number he charged it. He stopped responding. We reached out to the sales rep, he sounded responsive, but never called us back with a resolution.

I WOULD NOT RECOMEND using this place, once they have their money they don’t care! Also they will say that the installers are separate but Aaron definitely appears to work there and do the installs on the side. Not professional at all!
