Galt Museum & Archives

Small but well put together museum. Very modern building, with an archive on the bottom floor. Friendly museum staff. The admission fee is very reasonable. Many tables to escape the heat with a wonderful view.

Small museum but with many things to learn about the history of the province of Alberta and the city of Lethbridge. The somewhat expensive but very beautiful souvenirs are worth it.

Love coming here! So much to see and learn about local history, art, and more. They have a huge gift shop with neat trinkets that are both beautiful and unique to the culture that is the backbone of the Lethbridge community. They offer great events that discuss local history, culture, and topics that are relevant to Lethbridge. These events can be quite interactive, and offer some hands on crafts and a variety of ways to learn about the topics! Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable, parking is great, and they have tons of amazing views!

My family and I have enjoyed visiting rhe Galt to learn about Lethbridge and Southern Alberta history as well as about various historic sites. The events held here are always enjoyable.

Beautiful depiction of the local history. Located right at the beautiful coulees with the backdrop of a high rise bridge. Worth visiting once. Small but cute.

Very interesting local history. Variety of exhibit topics and formats. Quiet.
