Had the most interesting experience seeing artifacts and exhibits from a century ago! Train ride was loved by all. Sadly, the cruise was not functional the day we visited, but we will come back for it. The staff was very friendly and helpful, made us feel that we time traveled. Overall, it is an awe-inspiring experience. Highly recommended!

If you're in calgary, you should definitely visit heritage Park. You'll learn a lot of history and experience it first hand. The train ride and ferry ride gave me a real life peek into how humans travelled 100 years ago. It was fun filled as well as enlightening

A wonderful park for family recreation. I especially liked the "gasoline" museum

I visited Heritage Park for the many dozenth time this weekend, but for the first time during Railway Days. I've never seen it so busy!
The great thing was that no matter how long the line up for a train ride or wagon ride, or for a hotdog at the concession, or for one of the fun rides, everyone was there to enjoy the day, so I encountered only friendly, patient and happy people.

Kids of all ages, from tots to seniors, were enjoying the beautiful day and all the joys, small and large, from ice-cream cones to Ferris wheels, that Heritage Park offers.

This is my favourite location to go alone or with family and friends because there's so much to do if I'm in the mood, or I can just stroll through the park to take in the beautiful scenery.

Most of the park was closed by the time I arrived so I explored the lake and walked the trail to see if I could catch a good sunset which never came I drove 6.5 hours the day before so needed a more low key day. The next time I am in the area, I definitely want to check it out when it's open. It looks like a pretty cool spot. There was clear bottom kayaks out in the water from a tour company also.

It is a good place for learning about the living condition of people in Alberta before 1900

Great historical park, but if you are looking at a family pass, it's good to know that they are priced for families that make over $80,000 as their target market in case you are wondering why the family passes are so expensive. This was disclosed to us during volunteer orientation. Has lots of family activities for a large variety of ages such as games and food making, however if you are looking for activities for a hot day or a rainy day, the park is not built ideally for weather extremes. There is little shade or shelter and the places that are comfortable are usually crowded. Be prepared to walk lots! Discovered that there are 2 misters that are set up in the town area - they are REALLY helpful to get some heat relief!

Cost has increased like everywhere. Took our granddaughter and it cost $100.00 for parking and to get into the park. It has improved over the years but I think it will be a long time before we go back.

Great place to visit to learn about history but some fun added with kid friendly rides, steam boats an beautiful trains. Our favourite area was the train cars than you can explore and imagine what it was like to travel that way!

The park dates from 1860 to 1950. The streets were built with dentists, hotels, print shops, post offices, opera houses, banks, laundries, schools, and accommodation environments of different classes. Most of these shops can be visited, and some are gifts.store, the special thing is that the staff in the park will dress up in the clothes of that era, and you can also talk to them

There is a gas station and an old car museum at the entrance. You can visit both with one ticket after buying a ticket!

Personally, I like the printing shop the most. They introduce the previous printing machines in detail and show you how to operate them. You can also buy cards printed by the machines in the shop!

Really nice park for immersive history. Something for every age. Will not be disappointed.

Super nice park, you really go back in time. There is a lot to see and do, horse trams, steam train, old-fashioned fair, a farrier, just a few of the sights. There was also a very nice live performance with actors in period clothing, in and around the train station.

It's expensive. It has some nice attractions.
A good size place. I like that schools bring them there. Some good learning there. The people were helpful.
Overall, nice experience.
