I used to be an employee at this agency. The staff is overworked and there is zero appreciation for the frontline staff. The agency is very short staffed and there is a high turn over rate due to burnout. My experience of working at SPAN was one of the worst.
This agency has no regard for the people it serves. The reason why it even deserves one star is because the front line staff is extremely dedicated towards serving and working with the clientele population, despite the upper management placing barriers for the staff to adequately perform their duties. The agency needs to be audited, to ensure that the vulnerable people that it serves are receiving the help they need. We as the society are responsible for standing up for the rights of the people with disabilities as they can not stand up for themselves!
