Summerside Residents Association

I have lived in Summerside for about 9 years. We sold our house a year ago and moved into Nautical Luxury Suites with a one year lease ending May 31,2023. The rent we pay includes fees for access to the Lake amenities. We purchased a house in Summerside with possession date of July 4. I was refused access to the lake today because I could not produce a copy of the lease (it expired and we are month to month until the end of July). I also could not produce proof of purchase on the home because i wont have that until the deal closes on possession date. I tried to explain it to the girls at the gate but they would not allow access. I did produce my access card and drivers license with the correct address but they said I could be lying on my drivers license. The sad thing is they have been hired to make the experience of the residents of Summerside enjoyable. They pretty much ruined my day with their attitude of accusing me that I was lying about my address. My daughter and my 3 grandkids were turned away. Not the first time I have heard about people having similar experiences with staff who are not helpful at all. I wonder if I will get a refund if they continue to refuse entrance to me and my family?

Summerside resident fee keeps going up despite more people living in the area and not nearly enough of this cash grab is put back into the community.

I wish I could give them 0 star. We booked hall for baby shower party. They didn’t explain that we wouldn’t set up tables and chairs for you. They should explain this properly so people can figure out their time. Other thing is customer service terrible I don’t know for what they charge staffing fee after 9pm if they charge they should be available to help whenever public need. Music system didn’t work at all and went to their staff 6-7 times but nobody came in to check out they collected money for dump music system. They are quite expensive than other communities but their customer service so worse than other community halls. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone in all of my life they ruined our party and enjoyment by wasting time that spent to set up chairs and tables and other than that because of their music system. We couldn’t get hall in other surrounding communities all were booked probably because of their good service and only this hall was available for all day. If anyone wants to waste money and time, ruined party then come to summer-side resident association hall.

Terrible costumer service, lady was blatantly rude and unpleasant while talking to us. Male bathroom toilet clogged before we arrived.

Employees were disrespectful and unpleasant. The male toilet was clogged before we got there. Overall had fun but the employee was super rude and the washroom smelt horrible.

Male bathroom at the hall was clogged when we got there. Also, the employee present there was completely out of line and rude. The experience was fun but all and all the customer service was absolutely horrible.

Always a nice choice for events. Pricing is fair as well. Great for smaller groups. Just need to plan in advance as this books up quickly, which is no surprise.

Great outdoor picnic spot for all age groups including relaxing. Worth visiting at least once if someone is in Edmonton.

Fantastic facility for a bridal shower. Skating with a bonfire below really set the mood. Big fireplace in a brightly lit room. Clean bathrooms and large parking lot. Wheelchair friendly!

Excellent and well managed residential association. Very polite member of staff. Very clean and family friendly place to be at.

Lake Summerside is a great way to spend the day relaxing or swimming even playing a game of tennis. Lots of fun things for the whole family all year long! Easygoing, relaxed staff and very accomodating. Nice to be able to book the hall for special events.

My family and I love this place, have a great program and activities to do with your kids if you are a stay at home mom

The heating inside the hall was not working and had small kids shivering with cold. The thermostat was locked and hence couldn't turn the knob on
