U-Haul Neighborhood Dealer

Came to this place. Rented uhaul they lied and told me I was added as an additional driver. The son of the store hung up on me after asking why I was lied to than completely ignored the fact that I’m liable for using the uhaul.

Tim hung up on me and he didn't put me as a diver on the u haul so I could of been taken to court if I got into a accident

My friend booked a u-haul pickup for before they opened, she received a confirmation call from u haul 2 days before. On the morning of, there was so truck available as they did not prepare it. U haul was very good at making the situation right but we will never be using or recommending this location again. Moving is already stressful, this was not okay.

This location is very unprofessional. Racist. Unhelpful, rude, lazy and I wish I could find the right words how bad they are. Going through reviews they got it explained why. I surprised why all 5 people work there don’t get fired. They is some thing wrong with U-hall management. This location need to be shut down immediately as they are giving them bad name.

The older guy here is unbelievable. Today he is answering the phone like this "Hello, UHaul. I'm putting you on hold. ". That's it, over and over, and not returning to pick up the call. Mind you, it's no surprise, I have to book at this UHaul location regularly for work, and Gary (that's who it sounded like on todays calls) is consistently unpleasant and unhelpful.

2022 - update. This location still gives hostile and bad service.

Easy area to get in and very respectful older gentlemen. Went back Monday and talked with the owner and he took the time and very nice shop you can get gas and wash your car Kensington automotive

Called at 11: 51am to rent a truck. Told me they had a truck. Guy asked me if I would be there soon, I said I said yes I’ll be there within the hour. I showed up at 12: 30pm and the truck is no longer available. Thanks for wasting my time!

One of the better-run uHaul locations I've rented from. The attendant was highly competent and processed my rental in minutes while training another employee; usually I avoid these locations where its run out of another business but this one was faster than most uHaul hubs.

I rented a 26 foot Uhaul at the end of June 2021. The Truck was clean and in good condition. The Location was easy to get to, and getting in and out of the parking lot was easy to navigate even though I rented their largest truck. Staff was friendly, informative and they made sure I had everything I needed for my move prior to me leaving with the truck.

I would recommend this location for uhaul rentals.

No parking or signs for truck parking. The shop owner was very rude and did not wear mask while speaking to me. This spot is very small and inconvenient for trucks bigger then 10 feet.

U haul rental can be a pain. I like using this smaller one to avoid the craziness of the big ones. This location is a nice option, book well in advance.

We booked online over two weeks in advance for a uhaul truck, and when we called the morning of our move they told us that the truck was double booked. They didn't even bother phoning me to let me know in advance! What the hell?

Customer service was completely fine but actual truck was a different story. Rented a 10ft truck with AWFUL tires on them. Couldn't make it up on one neighborhood hill. Also parked it by our sidewalk and had to get the neighbors to help push it once we had to leave. It was unbelievable that they rent those out with such awful tires. Unsafe for Calgary winters.

Worst Uhaul drop off experience. The attendant was rude and refused drop off. It was the designated drop off but lot was full “so not my problem” and couldn’t be bothered to assist in arranging another drop off location. Was too close to end of his shift and didn’t want to deal with it. Used profanity and insulted us personally. Will never return again and recommend to stay clear of this location.

Amazing customer service by the employee named Enoch. If I owned any business, I would want him in my team. Very respectful and helpful.
He helped me provide an option for truck rental and it saved the day for me.

We rented a medium trailer online; while reading the reviews we were hesitant to choose u-haul but everything went well and we got the trailer on time. The service was very good.

Have recently used this UHAUL franchise (for trunk rentals), a number of times and am booked again next month. Staff are really helpful and easy going. Great having the gas pumps handy there also. Recommended!

Guy literally cut me off and hung up on me as I asked a question.tried to but support local but back to home depot for large supply orders

Very poor customer service. Rented a truck over the weekend and found the cab covered in chips and coffee stains, obviously not cleaned before we rented. Went inside to report to the staff and was told "That's Uhaul's responsibility". So no one is sanitizing the trucks in between users while in the middle of a worldwide pandemic? ! If you will be renting from this location, I'd recommend bringing your own sanitizing wipes. But then again I'd only go here if it was my very last option.

Over charged me, by a large amount. And now are trying to shake me down for more money for equipment I never received and gas I already paid for. If you have any other options; use them. F-ing disgraceful customer service.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! Second time I tried to rent from them and the second time they called me an hour before pick up saying they have nothing. Then the lady on the phone has the audacity to say I have to call head office for my refund of the $50 to reserve even though they didn’t have the damn trailer. Drove three hours for nothing.

I've used Kensington Auto 3 times now over the past 4 years and have been so happy with the service! First time was for a Uhaul rental, second was the install of an auto start and third was a hitch install. Great place!

Don't know what all the fuss is about, did the online U-haul "check-in", went in, signed the paperwork, got the keys and off I went to complete my move. The guys were totally fine and helpful. IF you call in last minute to try and change your pickup times etc then tough luck! I think they answered 3 calls while I was there with people trying to adjust their reservation last minute. I'd get annoyed too!

If I could, I would select no stars! I've never experienced such disrespect and rude behavior from staff in a client service environment before. I rented a Uhaul truck and was told at pick up that it could be returned to this location, a note to this was even put in my client file. On arrival to return the vehicle and without any provocation the man working at the counter started yelling at me and saying he would not accept the return, that the truck needed to be dropped off at another location, 15 minutes away. Normally I would have no issue with this if I had been asked and not yelled at, and had I known in advance so that I could make alternate arrangements to be picked up afterwards. I phoned Uhaul customer service and was told that yes, I was at the correct location for drop off and this was confirmed in my file. Uhaul customer service intructed me to park the truck next to the other Uhaul trucks and leave the keys in the drop box. I tried to explain this to the man at the counter and he told me that if the vehicle was left he would park it somewhere else where it would not be found and that it would be my responsibility.

I did exactly as Uhaul customer service instructed and as I was walking away to get to work the man came out yelling and swearing. I left quickly as I was worried that he would escalate to a physical contact. I think this guy needs a few tips in proper communication, client service and anger management.

This place is seriously disorganized. Nobody knows what's going on. They let me and another customer do battle over who was going to take the last available vehicle. Rugged. Very rugged.

The owner and staff are salty and funny in the best kind of way. Cheap rentals efficient. New online system is ok.
