We want to extend the biggest thank you to our installation team (Melinda’s crew) for surpassing some unexpected obstacles first with our uneven floors and the battling our choice of product. Excellent quality flooring but not the easiest to manoeuvre into and place. Thank you westvalley and Melinda’s crew we are grateful.

I had an insurance job done in my kitchen. Neil lied to me from the very start.
Hardwood floors were being replaced because they could not match the color (no attempt). Neil stated that with tiles we could get heating underneath for the same price. Westvalley won the bid with the repair company then provided us with cheap tiles without heating at the full price of hardwood floors.
During the process, Neil promised to help with creative input. This was not done whatsoever. The tiles are in a boring subway orientation. The streaks on the tiles do not connect with another. Anytime Neil gave a deadline, it was doubled. Work starts in 2 weeks? 4 weeks. He will get back to me in a week? 2 weeks. There was no oversight given to the subcontractor, not even the scope. When these questions were raised I had to chase Neil down daily just to get him to pick up the phone. He flat out ignored the project. Multiple parts of the project were ignored such as the toe-kick and the vent covers which Neil was more than happy to try and upcharge. In the end, not even the vent covers were installed properly. This was out of the scope of the subcontractor and Westvalley has not done a thing to fix this.
The process was to undercut the competition to the repair company by cutting every corner possible. Upsell the consumer (me). Once that is in place, they provide cheap material at an inflated price and dump all the corner-cutting to the consumer.
The only reason I am (generously) giving two stars is because Greg (the subcontractor) was diligent and very capable. Unfortunately, Greg's hard work still does not cut the lies and scams run by Westvalley.
Avoid this company at all costs! If you go through a repair company for insurance, fight with them to deal with literally anyone else.

Neil was a huge help in narrowing down to what we were looking for in quality flooring. And the installers (Mel's crew) went above and beyond for the installation. Overall very pleased with it everything.

We have had LVP installed on two levels of our home and carpet installed on our stairs. Our consultant Zach was knowledgeable and kept us informed from ordering to installation on all these projects.
Our latest install was the carpet on our stairs. Abdullah and his partner arrived early and kept us informed at each step of the install. They did a beautiful job! Abdullah is clearly an expert in carpet install. I highly recommend Westvalley flooring.

Update: if you buy a fine carpet like silk smartstrand be aware that you might need to buy a new vacuum cleaner. Our old vacuum cleaner got stuck in the carpet fibres. We weren't made aware of this when working with the sales rep to pick out carpet.

EJder installed our carpet and did an amazing job. The carpet looks amazing and he was very skilled and professional.

I had the pleasure of working with West Valley Flooring for the second time to replace my old carpet, and overall, I'm quite satisfied with the outcome. The sales rep, Zach, was a pleasure to work with and made communication easy. The installer, Abdul, was professional and efficient, and did a great job. While I did notice some small humps and a semi-noticeable seam in one spot, it didn't take away from my overall satisfaction with the end result. It also may even go away on its own, in time.

Despite these minor issues, I would still highly recommend West Valley Flooring to others looking for quality flooring and competitive pricing.

We recently worked with Cory to replace the flooring in our new home. You will find Cory to be very knowledgeable and easy to work with. Chris, who installed our new hardwood floors, was amazing! He has decades of experience, is highly skilled and did a fabulous job - our floors look great! You won't go wrong if you choose to work with Cory and Chris.

After suffering, a flood on the main floor and basement of our house, Westvalley installed all new flooring for us. Derrek was excellent and helped us choose the right product. Jason, the installer, did a great job, and brought true professionalism and workmanship to our home.

Great experience working with Derek at Westvalley Carpet and Flooring. Derek worked with us to find what we wanted, and needed for our home. He was also very patient and helpful in answering all the questions and concerns we had. Tyler, our installer, was awesome. He arrived promptly, worked all day and kept to schedule. He also was very patient and helpful in answering any questions/concerns we had. Both Derek and Tyler went above and beyond our expectations and we were really pleased with the final outcome. I would definitely recommend visiting Derek at Westvalley if you're in the market for new flooring.

I had two small jobs as part of a restoration. West Valley came to the rescue and installed some vinyl linoleum and tiled the floor in a bathroom. The work was done as promised and with excellent workmanship. I would. Recommend them for work

We chose to reno a bathroom which included a new tile floor. Unfortunately the original tile we selected was discontinued and the contractor shut down. After searching for a new product we located a great replacement product at Westvalley South. We dealt with Jeff who gave us the options and came out to take the measurements. The installer was Lou who arrived exactly on time and did a great job with the installation. We are very pleased with the result and wouldn't hesitate to deal with West Valley in the future.

This is the second time I have used West Valley flooring. Tim was my sales rep both times and provides a wealth of knowledge while always providing excellent customer service.

Curtis installed our vinyl plank and carpet.
He took the time to explain the process and any questions we had. His workmanship was amazing, truly cares about his craft and the finish product.
The clean up was amazing, fantastic installer, cant say enough. Great experience both times with West Valley, highly recommend!

I absolutely love the work that Westvalley and my installer Bartek have done for me. I replaced my god awful carpet on my stairs and hallway with LV flooring and I cannot be more pleased with the results. Product pricing, service and installation was competitive and the workmanship was absolutely amazing. I will be using them in the future for any other jobs.

Bartek installed some Luxury Vinyl Planks for us two years ago and we were extremely happy with his workmanship and professionalism. For these reasons, we asked for him again to do another installation this past week and we knew that this time it would be a challenge to work with the existing floors. We also knew that Bartek would meet the challenge head on and make it happen for us, no matter how difficult it was. Thank you Bartek for another great installation, we are exceptionally happy with the work you did. The floors are seamless and look absolutely awesome!

This was our second time using Westvalley, the first being last year for an insurance claim on our rental property last year. Derek came out and provided a quote and was very friendly and professional and was patient while we took a couple days to decide on the product we wanted. We took some samples home and found a vinyl plank that we loved!

Bartek was our florist and he was very friendly and fast. We are on a budget with a baby on the way and Derek said we could save some money if I helped out which I was happy to do. I took a few days off work and helped Bartek with all the baseboards, cleaning, etc.while he worked his magic on the plank. Some folks opt to do vinyl plank themselves but the skill of a professional is VERY noticeable and worth the investment. Bartek and I were best friends by the end of it and my family couldn’t be happier with the end result and we were very happy with the process. We recommend Westvalley (and Bartek) for anyone’s flooring needs!

Strongly recommend this company for their customer service. The south calgary showroom location spent alot of time helping my wife pickout and order tile that would be able to arrive in time for our renovation. The experience in picking up the tile continued to the same level of quality as I was helped immediately by Jeremy on arrival at the central wearhouse and he carried it out to my vehicle in a downpour.

Top notch professionalism; from consultation to installation. Very thorough with an efficient installation team who take pride in what they do.

Mo was absolutely amazing. My wife and I used Westvalley Carpet and Flooring to install our vinyl plank flooring a few weeks ago, and Mo did a wonderful job. He went above and beyond by even fixing our staircase. The floor has made a huge difference in our home and he did amazing work. They were able to complete the job in on day, and kept any mess to a minimum. Mo was great!
