I went in looking for a transition and a gentleman named Mike helped me. Absolutely phenomenal service. They take you seriously as soon as you walk in the door and make your needs a top priority. If you need anything that World FloorCoverings can provide, I strongly suggest coming to them as you won’t be disappointed!

I want to thank to thank World Flooring for the great service they provided to replace the carpet in my condo recently.
Everything was handled in a professional and courteous way. I would recommend World Floor Coverings to everyone.

People in the showroom were nice. The products they sell are nice too, I’d have given them 5 stars, but for their sub-contractors doing the install.

The simply did not care about doing a good job. They manhandled my stove using the oven-door handle, which caused the door to bend and the veneer part to fall off. Rather than fixing it, they balanced it back in place so it fell on my feet the next time I opened the oven. They moved the island using the countertop part, detaching the counter from the island, didn’t mention it, just left it.

Worst was I pointed out two uneven spots in the floor prior to installation and was told “it is what it is” by the installer. When I complained afterwards he advised me that he’d charge $5000 to pull up the floor and level it before putting it back down again.

It’s a shame because the product is nice, ruined by a bad install.

Great customer service. Great team all around. I'm happy and we will be coming back for more of our homes.

My husband and I worked with Don who was extremely helpful in providing guidance, knowledge, and overall expertise to help us pick the perfect colour and appropriate flooring for the space. We needed new flooring for our house, explored many options but it wasnt until we got to World Floor Coverings that we got the inspiration that we needed. We were kindly greeted by, Don. He listened to our vision and provided a ton of great recommedations. He was personable, knowledgable and we appreciated his no-pressure approach. He was easy to contact after left and he ensured the entire process went smoothly from start to finish.

For installation, Greg contacted us before arrival and did an initial assessment then did the full installation a couple days later. He was very friendly, responded quickly with messaging, and did an amazing job on the installation.

After a flooding in my basement suite, I urgently found a reliable company to get new flooring done. Stew and his warehouse crew made the process easy and quick - had my flooring done within a week of the initial flooding.

Since buying our condo 7 years ago, started finding problems in our 2nd bathroom. It started leaking underneath the Laminate flooring from the toilet. During my breaks while working i stopped and asked why it was making a weird color, the wax ring wasent properly suctioned to the toilet. Was able to go in, pick a laminate one that was close to the original and get booked.

I'll be honest, I didn't expect much from my trip to World Floorcoverings. I figured I'd pick out some hardwood, maybe get gouged a bit on the price, and then go home to install—but how wrong I was! I was treated to out of this world service at World, incredibly fair pricing, and hardwood that was of some truly exceptional quality (even my 100 lb dog running up and down the hallway couldn't gouge it). With all of the madness going on across the globe, it's nice to know that I can trust in at least one World for a fair and friendly experience, where Mike and Mark treated me like family. When we collectively ruin this planet, I can only hope the team from World Floorcoverings is laying the foundation on the next world we inhabit—in on the ground floor, if you will.

In October 2021, there was an unfortunate kitchen accident, which caused a lot of water damage. The entire main floor of my home, had to have the floors replaced. Service Master was assigned to the insurance claim & they recommended using World Floor Coverings, to replace the floors.

My husband & I went to the showroom for World Floor Coverings & met with Mike the owner & Lauren the interior designer. Mike was fantastic to deal with, Service Master sent him over the measurements of our flooring. Mike asked us questions of what type of flooring we were looking, are usage, lifestyle, etc. Mike was fantastic at answering all of our questions & making suggestions.

Mike then introduced us to Lauren the interior designer. She was great. We had brought in a sample of the old flooring & pictures of our home. Lauren helped us figured out, what type of flooring would be best for our family & look amazing in our home. Lauren was also great at asking us questions & answering all of our questions too.

On the day of install, Val installed the flooring. Val does beautiful work. His work was very clean, neat & professional. He did a fantastic job. He’s a true professional.

My husband & I absolutely love our new floors. We are so happy, with our choice. When we go to finish our basement, we will for sure be using WFC for the floors. Oh and the new floors, are dog approved by Jake & Marley.

We contacted Markus at World Floorcoverings to see if him and his company could assist us in our Office Reno at Noramco. We were putting in new carpet and re painting the entire office. We decide on the wall color first then Markus came in and helped us choose the right carpet. It was a pleasure working with Markus and his Team, he was very professional and helpful.

Not only that, the Carpet installers Erdim and his partner were fast and very efficient. They left our office spotless!

After a flood destroyed the flooring in my house the insurance company recommended World Floorcoverings to do the renovation. Steve worked with us to choose the best replacement options available. We were able to get a LVP by Procore called Havanna Hickory. The look and feel of the material went beyond our expectations to the extent that we are finishing the basement with it as well. Emre the installer was courteous and professional and did a fantastic job.

The installers were very professional and worked very hard and fast. They cleaned up after each job and took all items that I did not need away.

The best most understanding flooring company in the city. I recently got the horrible news that one of my siblings will have to move in with me as they will be getting cancer treatments at the cancer center in Alberta. I had to finish my basement to be able to give her a place to be comfortable. I only had a small amount of time to get the basement done with a quick deadline. I contacted Mike and he listen to my situation and immediately started throwing options my way. He listened to what I needed and the situation I am in. He worked all week to get me what I need. After everything said and done Mike ended up donating the carpet that I had ordered to help me with the cost and to help my sister out. Mike and his team and people with integrity and heart. We had a very tight Deadline to have carpet installed in our basement. Contacted WFC and they went above and beyond to have the carpet installed on time. They actually were able to come a few days early which worked out perfect for us. They did an amazing job and were so accommodating.

We had vinyl plank installed May 2021. Excellent experience from organization (materials and worker on time and on schedule) work crew: (professional and tidy) and very good price. I would definitely recommend!

Anyone that has had a puppy knows the challenges of training them, from chewing on cords to pulling up loose carpet strings. I deliberated replacing the carpet in our house now that our puppy is no longer in that stage, but the damaged areas weren’t that large to really consider that. So I contacted Mike at World Floor Coverings to see if the areas were able to be repaired. He sent out his carpet repair man, Nathan to see what he could do. Nathan was able to fix the areas so perfectly that you cannot even notice that we had the damage in the first place! The service and professionalism of Mike and his team at World Floor Coverings was incredible. I highly recommend anyone that needs carpet repair or replacement to give Mike a call, I love my carpet again and I didn’t have to pay for a full replacement!

I had a flooding issue in my basement, and my insurance company recommended World Floorcoverings for my flooring needs. Working with Cody, Logan, and Nathan was very simple, and I felt very well-taken-care-of, from start to finish.

The installers did a fantastic job and provided solutions for working around the sump pump in the foundation. Take a look at the photos, but never mind the rest of the mess!
