These moving men are remarkable. The initial quote was provided quickly, and I received prompt responses to any follow-up questions I had. Hourly estimate with no hidden fees. The movers called forty minutes before their arrival and were actually early (and waiting on me). Super professional and courteous throughout. Regardless of the size of the task, the team is consistently upbeat. I cannot sing their praises enough and will use them again for future moves.

We hired 1 Pro Moving and Shipping to help us move from Pitt Meadows to Maple Ridge on Dec 17th, 2022. Right from the beginning, they were awesome! We had to re-schedule a couple of times for unexpected reasons, and they were very flexible and always ready to accommodate our request.
They have one big truck to fit all your belongings into, and they work, and I mean work! They spent 9 hours to help us move our 2 bedroom 2 bath approx 1000 Sq ft condo. We have to praise Carlos, the handyman, with re-assembling our furniture and then assembling them again once we were at our new home (he's like a magician with his hands). Philip and James put in the muscle work by moving the furniture and belongings into the truck and later our home. Oh, and Tarek (The Boss) made sure that everything was going smoothly and on time! He helped with the much larger furniture because he is one big strong man (mashallah)!
The best part is the price they charged as we found it very fair compared to other moving companies.
Overall 10 out of 10 experience with this company! Would definitely recommend them if you are moving!

The movers from 1 PRO were incredibly efficient and quick. They were extremely respectful and well-organized. I had a light workload all day! My journey took slightly longer than the estimated three hours, but my new residence was quite distant. The total moving estimate was very reasonable, and I would recommend them to anyone moving to Vancouver!

These guys were absolutely the best! They were amazing, professional and patient. I organized this move for my mother who is under a lot of stress and not able to cope as well as she used to, they were so patient and attentive to her. When they turned up, they did a scope of the work and then went to work! My move was a simple one, but I wanted to just have a move done without having to think to much about it. Just move it out and move it in. No extra costs or any other fees. Just a flat hourly rate. And Tarek and his crew today did just that for me. The use of the runners was a nice touch and everything was done professionally and respectfully. The move with 1 Pro with Tarek was done in a short amount of time and that even includes moments of small talk here and there with the crew. If you are looking for a mover that is upfront and very professional, I highly recommend going with 1 pro.

And a tip that I did to make my move easy for everyone involved was that I didn't change my list of items to be moved or the space. And I packed up and organized my things before the move. This let 1 pro come in, wrap everything up and haul it out for the move out with really no bottle neck delays.

I had the pleasure of having 1Pro do a big move for me. Tarek and his team was professional, fast, and skilled in all aspects of moving. While I had cling wrapped furniture I wanted to protect, they wrapped almost all my furniture again into tight solid bundles. I was amazed at how much stuff could fit into their 26 footer truck! My house had 5 bedrooms and a big TV room. The entire moving experience was made even more pleasurable with a well mannered team. I had the opportunity to chat with Tarek, Rudy, Thomas, and Dylan who made it seem like friends were helping me move and not just cold, efficient, paid professionals. Over the past 3 years, I have moved 6 times and each successive move was more unpleasant and stressful than the last. My most recent move looked like it was going to be the worst of all since I was moving internationally. I initially went with 1Pro Moving because their price was competitive. Additionally, Tarek, the owner sounded like an ethical person who didn’t sound like he was trying gouge or upswell me. In spite this, having had so many unpleasant prior experiences, I also braced for the worst. All I can say is, by the end of the day that my items showed up at my house, I was not only pleased, but I felt a sense of assurance and calm I’d never experienced during or post any other move in memory. Thank you Tarek and the rest of the gracious gentlemen who moved my belongings for doing a great job, going above and beyond and giving me the experience of a hassle-free move. If I move again, you definitely have a return customer here!

8/2- Sadly, I’ve had to revise this review since my move. Much to my disappointment, a very expensive loudspeaker was broken in the move. I’d previously thought the damage was minor, however, I’ve discovered it’s pretty severe. This is partly on me for having not examined the damage more closely, but I’m compelled to revise my review accordingly.

Tarek- hi, I hope you're well. I regret having to change my initial review from 5- 2 stars because in every other way, I felt you moved my stuff really well. However, the item in question was something I watched you personally hand carry from off the truck. When you picked it up, you grabbed it by the horn and my wife and I both heard a loud crack as the horn ripped off the base of the speaker. We pointed this out to you and you and I both examined it. You felt very strongly that nothing had been damaged and for whatever reason, I agreed, believing that I could address any problem that might have occurred. I also didn't give it the kind of attention I should have and months later, when I finally did, I realized that it had actually been broken, certainly beyond what I can fix. This is why I revised my initial review and as you can see, the damage had nothing to do with the shippers from Colorado. Additionally, I helped load the truck when it left and those speakers were packed very carefully, hence, it's impossible that the damage could have been sustained in any other way.

So happy I chose 1PRO moving
Tarek and his team were on time, protected all the furniture and charged a reasonable rate.

We got our 3 bedroom townhouse loaded and moved from Delta to North Van in 5 hours with 0 damage.
1 Pro crew were fast and efficient.

Tarek and his crew were able to carefully move and professionally stack and fit our boxes of household items and furniture into a temporary storage (my sister in law's garage). On the morning of our move and just before Tarek and crew came, I went and rented a public storage facility as I was stressed out not knowing if our stuff (3800 sq ft home) would fit in a 2 car garage (what would I do if our stuff don't fit?). However, when Tarek and crew came and saw what we have, he assured me that he can make it fit and in fact he did - ended up using only 2/3 of the garage. I ended up canceling the storage and saved 400 dollars. I highly recommend 1Pro Moving.

Tarek and his team were friendly and professional right from doing the quote, via Zoom because of the pandemic, to the actual move day. They arrived on time and moved our whole house including a piano in one day. They wrapped all our furniture and grouped boxes by where they were to go in our new house. Highly recommended!

My husband and I used Tarek and his team to move our three bedroom house last week. They were all on time, incredibly professional and FAST! They were also really friendly and we ended up chatting away with them for the entire move. They wrapped and protected everything really well including some antique furniture and a white couch that stayed perfectly white! They took apart and reassembled any furniture that was too big to fit through doorways and even gave us suggestions on how to make the move as smooth as possible in advance. This was the least stressful move I have ever experienced and would highly recommend hiring this company if you are looking for professional movers who really care. Tarek has over 25 years of experience in the industry and it shows. They aren't a massive company where you can't get ahold of anyone. This company knows what good customer service is and is there for anything you may need. Thanks Tarek and team! In what other moving companies could not do in ongoing back and forth communications, Tarek was able to do in a 10 minute phone call: convince us that we were valued, respected, and would be in great hands for our move. From the first moment we met Tarek through the completion of our move, we knew we were in great hands and did not have any worries or concerns about this part of our move. Tarek and his crew are so friendly, professional, courteous, time efficient, and great people all around. Tarek and his team are absolutely incredible. My wife told me she booked a moving company and the owner is so nice. I looked at reviews and only read positive comments. Taret and his team were extremely thorough. They actually care. Each piece of furniture and electronic device was meticulously wrapped. They take their time and are so cautious with everything. At end he helped us take 14’ trampoline without disassembling and put on back of 5 ton truck. He saved us hundreds of dollars and hours of our time. They are really amazing people. Kind hearted and open hearted. One thing that I noticed was they work smart not hard. They are more of a logistics company than moving company. Better than the Best! We used Tarek and his team to move us from Vancouver to Victoria, and were very pleased with our choice. We had a couple of quotes from larger companies that were much higher, but I chose 1Pro based on the positive reviews and good communication. Tarek was in touch with us in the days prior to the move and the team arrived right on time the day of. He, Brandon and Dylan were personable, efficient, and professional. They even made it work to head over to the Island the same day they loaded up the truck instead of making the trip over the next day. Tarek and the fellas were awesome! Great crew! They were very polite and professional. My wife picked Tarek because of his personal touch and how responsive he was to her questions. These guys were great. I had a very difficult move onto a float home at low tide and these guys seemed unfazed.
Large master bedroom furniture needed to be hoisted onto a balcony. I have no doubt this team could handle any move. Highly recommend!
