My husband and I had booked the 3 hour West Coast Glacier tour for our wedding elopement and our experience with 49 North was amazing start to finish. We used the affiliated services they recommended and I wouldn’t have changed a thing. Alice was very knowledgeable, organized and quick to answer all of my questions. Our pilot, Bastian, was great as well and took us to the most breathtaking location I’ve ever seen and gave us a once in a lifetime experience. I can’t recommend the team at 49 North Helicopters enough! Thank you!

Amazing experience! Our pilot was Josh, he was friendly, knowledgeable and took us to an amazing spot for our heli-love adventure. We decided to do this tour on our wedding day for photos, and I could not recommend them enough!

We took the Comox Glacier Tour with 49 North Helicopters this week and it was nothing short of incredible. All the staff were great, especially our pilot Josh. I'm really glad I decided to add the 45 minute stop on a remote mountain to the tour. It really made the trip extra special to be able to spend some time exploring such a remote spot. We got some incredible photos and memories that will last a lifetime.

Looking to arrange a sightseeing flight this coming summer. They were very helpful. My brother and I flew to Desolation Sound with 49 North Helicopters.

We had an amazing trip on our Comox Glacier Tour. What a beautiful nature. Amazing lakes, each a different kind of blue. It was a very special moment for all of us. Our pilot made more than a good job. We felt very comfortable kind of entertained. Bastian flew the helicopter in amazing areas. Every single moment was a joy. We are from Germany and it was great more to learn about the Nature and the people and the way of life on Vancouver Island. Thanks Bastian for making this moment so special.

My children and I enjoyed an unforgettable "bucket list" sightseeing tour with 49 North Helicopters. It was the highlight of our summer vacation.

Last week we were all set for our ride out over the islands that lie in the straits between the Island and the mainland. Arrived at the appointed time only to discover that we were there early - very, very early - 24 hours early to be exact.

Their response - give us a few minutes to see what we can do. They corralled the owner of the company to take us up. Just a short delay while they got a helicopter ready for us.

Once airborne we had a wonderful ride with Jean-Marc as he took us over the straits, taking the time to circle some of the more interesting islands, and providing narration on what we were looking at.

Had a wonderful time - would do it again in a heart beat!

We did the 90 minute glacier tour with pilot Josh and stopped at Dent Lodge for lunch. It was an amazing experience and something we will not forgot anytime soon. Josh was fantastic pilot full of knowledge and very professional. I would highly recommend 49 North to anyone looking to do a heli tour.

We did the 90-minute glacier tour for our 10th anniversary. I would highly recommend this if you are looking for something out of the ordinary! Our pilot was Josh, and he was amazing. Very knowledgeable, polite, and professional. He spotted a whale 3,000 feet below us, playing in the water.circled back around to give us a better look. Once we landed near the glacier on the mainland, we enjoyed about 45 minutes to ourselves, just taking in the stunning views, taking some pictures, noticing the calm, quiet (at 6,000 feet) and enjoying a few snacks provided.
Felt completely safe in this pilot's company. Thank you for such a wonderful memory!

Recently got to go on a flight to the Comox Glacier with Josh and it was amazing! We got a gift certificate for our anniversary and finally got around to going and we regretted not having gone sooner! The flight was beautiful and Josh answered any questions we had and told us lots about the area! We landed in a spot on Mount Adrian (I’m pretty sure that was it) and got to spend 45min there which was breathtakingly beautiful!

We did the Heli Love tour with 49 North for our wedding, we do wish the communication leading up to the day was better but the actual day was seamless and we were so impressed with everything!

Four of us took a tour, Mt Washington, Comox Glacier and area. We loved it Bastion was professional and informative. Highly recommend 49 North Helicopters.

What a ride! We had a wonderful trip with Manny, our brilliant pilot and knowledgeable guide. If you want to do the tour, do the long one over to the mainland glacier. It was so well worth it! We had 90 minutes in the helicopter and 15-20 on top of the glacier. It was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. A family day to remember! I would do it again tomorrow if I could!

I took my husband on a tour of the discovery passage as a birthday surprise, and it was a big win. 49 North were very professional. They scheduled the flight for a time and date that suited us and made sure everything went smoothly. On the day we were greeted by our pilot Josh, who was very pleasant and had excellent knowledge about the area. The flight itself was very smooth and we got to take lots of lovely pictures and videos. Would definitely recommend this your if you want to experience the islands from above

I chose 49 North Helicopters for mine and my daughter's first helicopter ride. We did the Comox Glacier tour and Josh was our pilot. We had an incredible time - so much so, I was trying to recruit my daughter to becoming a pilot!
