Best donuts in Vancouver. My favourite are the filled ones, like the lemon meringue. They also have multiple gluten-free options but they sell out, so come earlier in the day for good selection!

Always fab. The staff is great. Very pretty cozy place. But parking lot now requires you to pay. I wish they had a 10 min parking spot for people who are just grabbing coffee. Otherwise it's a great place with amazing tasty coffee and

49th Parallel refused my cash today. It was very inconvenient and unprofessional. It’s important to keep cash circulating for when the point of sale system goes down like it did with BC Ferries this week. Do not support this short sighted company until they accept cash.

They are refusing to accept legal cash. This is illegal and they will never get our business again. Extremely disappointing.

Ever since 49th Parallel opened it has been very busy. Every time I go there are long lines and no place to sit. My favorite drink is a latte and they make it very well. Flavor is good. Prices are similar to coffee shops around town. Their potions are smaller but people don't seem to be complaining. Whenever I want a good latte on 4th I come here.

Huge line up so I had to try. Coffee was not tasty. Doughnuts were the main attraction. Big and rich. I had a pistachio ring. Not as much pistachio taste as I hoped. Other doughnut choices were better no doubt. Surprising to see such a long line, so they had to be good.

This place serves coffee and donuts. Runs out of most their donuts pretty quickly during the day though and also has a line up often.

The coffee here is mediocre but the doughnuts are incredible! I come here for Lucky's donuts when I need a treat after work.

The donuts are good! Coffee is okay. It's difficult to get seating here as it's quite busy and popular. Bathrooms are still closed due to covid. So don't drink too much!

Aw this place is so cute! My vegetarian friend had their apple bacon fritter, which really tells you good it is. She could not stop gushing about it! Only downside is they charge $1.10 for alternative milks which I still don’t understand

I ordered a cappuccino and asked for it to be dry. Staff are very polite and accommodating. My cappuccino was amazing.

My favourite donuts in Vancouver. Not overly sweet like most places and the tart, smoky and fun flavours really stand out when you aren't just going for sugar as the reason for your donut to exist. Highly recommended!

The atmosphere is great here! The coffee is good and it is very bright in here. Seating may be difficult to find but the sunroom is very nice to be in!

2021-My fiance and I decided to pass by and grab a quick coffee on the way home. We appreciated all the sanitary measures in place and the friendliness of the staff! Although there were only two donuts to select from when we got there around 4pm, we were able to get our favorite Venezuelan coffee order ($6-7 depending on size) without a problem! We'd highly recommend them, if you're in the area.

2018-Great donuts and coffee! I ordered the salted caramel and my boyfriend had the lemon donut, both were great. The portion sizes are massive!

A solid coffee shop with donuts on West 4th. I love their iced lattes and all their baked goods. I enjoyed the Lemon Bismarck - it was super tasty and was not too sweet. The lemon filling was oozing, so be sure to grab extra napkins! They have ample patio space - their indoor dining was closed due to covid the last time I went. The washrooms were also closed! Not sure if they’re open yet.

Prices are higher than Starbucks and they don't let customers use washrooms which really made me upset.

This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and relaxed. Outdoor seating comfortable and spacious. The staff is always really helpful and friendly. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Coffee is of course always fantastic but I've always come here for the doughnuts in particular. I had a Mango Passionfruit Coconut Bismarck. Honestly it's my new favourite. Perfectly fresh and absolutely delicious. Can't recommend this place enough, would go out of my way to come back again.

There is no good reason for stopping customers from using the bathroom.

The coffee is great, their donut selection is fantastic, highly recommend their seasonal flavours or their chocolate glaze.

The doughnuts were okay but I would rather go to the Lucky's store on Main to get the fresher ones. In addition, this store does not offer washrooms and for me, that is a reason enough to offer my business elsewhere. I would not go back to this location again.

My 2nd this week. The Long John is a must, so DELICIOUS weighing nearly. 5lbs with vanilla creme in side a soft dense slighty chewy dough that pairs perfectly with a latte. The lemon meringue is a nice alternative. Be prepared for a long line.

Weekend is always busy and many doughnuts sold out quickly but today I could pick one from full selection because it's Monday 9am:)

I can eat a donut from Lucky's every day. It is dense and chewy and flavorful.my only wish is for maple infused creme, please.

Doughnuts are great and the staff are also great but I'm consistently getting burnt tasting coffee from here. Good coffee when it's not burnt though.

Great place that’s bumping and bustling. Lots of people were coming in for a coffee or donut and then hanging out for a bit or headed off to their busy lives. Despite having lots of seating, finding a chair was challenging due to so many people coming in, but there’s also someone always headed out too, so I didn’t have to wait too long.

Donut was good, and I really enjoyed the coffee. My only complaints were the lack of outlets and that the internet only had a two-hour pass. But still a great place to go and will definitely return.

Personally don't understand this place's appeal as coffee overpriced for metiocer beans and always lack lustre service. My friends love it which is why I go, so obviously I'm odd bird out

I came here with a friend to try out their famous donuts. For Donuts we ordered the Tiramisu, French Cruller, and Apple Bacon Fritter. For beverages I got a drip coffee while my friend got the Flat White. We really enjoyed our donuts and coffee unfortunately our Tiramisu donut had a hair baked into it - the staff were happy to exchange it for a new one. Would definitely return!

Absolutely in love with this cafe! It has delicious, rotating roster of coffees, friendly staff, and a stunning and bright space draped with plants and plenty of seating, plus a glass extension that is so wonderful to sit in no matter the weather outside. No soy milk here, but trust me, you'll lap up their house made hazelnut or almond milks. The cafe also manages to double task spectacularly with fresh, creative and delicious gourmet doughnuts. I don't have much of a sweet tooth, but still find myself craving their tiramisu bismarcks! They have a $5 coffee + doughnut combo which has become my go-to order. One caveat: they turn off their public wifi before 4 PM on weekends.

I understand that a passerby was acting in a deplorable fashion toward a four legged friend when a guest of this establishment ran outside and bonked the perpetrator right good with a coffee mug!

This is a beautiful little coffee shop. There was a long line, which I think took a bit too long. I can deal with lines though as long as the product is worth it. I was eager to try this place, since I heard it mentioned on one of my favorite podcasts. It was very chic. White marble tables, earthy accents, mint green dishes and mugs, modern lighting, and a very clean atmosphere. It was the most beautiful coffee shop I’ve ever been in. The service was lacking a bit for me. They were too rushed, not able to focus on the person they were actually talking to, and had an attitude. Hire more people, so that your staff can actually look customers in the eye when speaking. The coffee, however, was not my favorite. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t even close to the best I’ve had and I expected more for hearing so many good things about it. My cappuccino was bitter and I enjoy black coffee. The art the made though was beautiful. They also have Lucky’s Doughnuts inside and it was delicious. I got the Pumpkin Cheesecake doughnut and it was quite tasty. I’d come back and try something else because maybe other things are better, but I’d be wary.

Average tasting doughnut; all be it a hot spot I'd say keep looking! You will capture a "perfect Instagram photo but be disappoined with what looked like sugary goodness.

First time here. Lots of people were inside the coffee shop. The line up was okay. Not too bad that we didn't have to wait too long to order.

We ordered a cup of iced latte and asked for less ice. The flavour of the iced latte was great. However, the barista did not pay attention that they still put tons of ice in the cup.

This coffee is located at Yew Street and West 4th Street. Great location that people can't miss it. There is street parking. We parked a couple of blocks away and walked to the coffee shop.

The seminal coffee shop on the West Side. Excellent patio and amazing interior design (shout out to Tetherstone for their amazing work). Venezuelan coffee + salted caramel donut will likely shave years off your life but solo or in combination, one of the best coffee and donuts I’ve ever had. Take anyone from out of town here

A very disappointing experience. I was excited to visit on a Saturday as I had enjoyed another location a couple years ago. The two women who served me were rude, the Americano I had was mediocre and over priced, and they don't offer wifi on weekend until 4pm because they don't want people to sit in the cafe. It's such a shame as it's a beautiful cafe. I wouldn't go back any time soon and definitely not on a weekend.

Gets busy but if you time it right you’ll get a seat in the conservatory/glassed patio area. Good coffee and donuts and fast service!

Coffee and 's are bang on. Best I've had to be honest. Those 's are better than Jelly in YYC and the epic espresso is actually epic. Don't pass on this spot

Love this place. Their ear grey custard lavender is really good and i dont even like donuts! Their coffee is on point.i also really like the place for work and hanging out with friends.they have a covered patio area which is really nice.

Horrible coffee. The place itself is nice and friendly, but the Hazelnut macchiatto I had must be the worst in a very long time.

A bit pricey, but the coffee and doughnuts are delicious. They do coffee art here and it turned out quite well.

I avoid donuts & all other emptied nutritional value "foods", but daaaaammn - their old fashioned chocolate donut is that one guilty pleasure I indulge once or twice a year. Not a huge fan of their coffee as personally it's too bitter for my taste.

Banana bread and a medium black coffee came out to be over 6 bucks. Very nice area being able to sit "outside" while raining heavily. Nothing special with their coffee/banana bread. *edit on price: honest error cheers

A must go to coffee and doughnut shop here in Vancouver. Located on a beautiful city street this partnership of 49th Parallel Coffee and Lucky Doughnuts is a match made in heaven.

We enjoyed a warm and delicious cup of a smooth and fruity drip coffee that was a stand alone on its own but paired beautifully with the sweet treats.

The doughnuts in their own right were surprisingly mild in sweetness and left us blown away in their flavor AND left us ready for more. The treats were light and exotic and are nothing like the sugar pillows that often plague our stomachs. (In the photo you see a Blueberry Lavender Glaze with Early Grey filling and a Salted Caramel Old Fashioned)

I highly recommend this location and its 5 stars are well deserved.

Enjoy the outdoor patio, bike parking, and free tour hour parking on the back streets (if you look carefully; be warned, almost parking is metered or barred without a placard)

The donuts are delicious here! I think they cycle flavors in and out with some permanent ones. The matcha raspberry donut is a personal favourite, but even their most simple and classic donut is well worth its calories. I'm not sure if the coffee is anything to write home about, but it pairs with donuts. It's also nice to be able to sit outside in a covered area and enjoy your snack.
