Just had my Covid shot. It was my first visit. Fast, efficient service - and a painless shot!

All the staff were kind and knew what to do.
It was a very good experience to visit.

We’re very satisfied with their service. They’re accommodating to our needs, knowledgeable and friendly people.

I had both my flu vaccine and my covid vaccination at the same appointment.
The staff and pharmacists are very cheerful and efficient.
A short but pleasant experience.

I went into the pharmacy for an unscheduled flu shot. They were very friendly, informative and " painless".

FOLLOW-UP
I was contacted today by the pharmacy and discussed the issue (below) I originally posted last Friday. After speaking It was agreed by both parties there was a miscommunication on both our parts and the issue was resolved. Due to the pharmacist taking the time to contact me I'm retracting my 1 star rating back to my previous of 5 Stars.

A bad experience This past week I was having a problem finding a prescription that I've been using for over a year called "Pulmicort" nasal rinse. I contacted 49th pharmacy and was told they only had one package in stock. I took my prescription and picked it up. I thought it seemed more expensive than when I had purchased previously at my local Rexall. When I got home I checked my last Rexall receipt and it was less than half the cost. I returned to the pharmacy with both receipts the pharmacist told me it was more expensive due to being a stronger dosage? I asked if they were in the habit of substituting different dosages without informing a person and giving a receipt for the prescribed dosage? The druggist replied " I'm not aware of the conversation when you purchased it", I replied there was no conversation, I submitted a prescription and paid for it. Getting more agitated I asked for my written prescription, politely thanked her and left with my receipts. To top it all off, when I got home I looked at the prescription container and it was the prescribed dosage so I was overcharged from the beginning? I will not return for a refund.

Had my covid booster at 49th paralIel pharmacy. I recommend this local pharmacy because they are very pleasant, informative, helpful and kindly answer any questions or concerns! I'll be back for my flu shot next week.

I would highly recommend 49th Parallel Pharmacy and Travel Clinic. I am completely satisfied with the counselling and recommendations for the appropriate vaccinations for my upcoming international trip. I appreciate the detailed additional information provided, which will clearly facilitate a worry free trip albeit with suggested precautions. This is my pharmacy of choice for all my prescription requirements primarily because of the pharmacist and the staff. They all provide excellent personable customer service.

I have been to most of the local pharmacies and never been happy with them. Then I found 49th Parallel and finally found a great one. The owners are the friendliest, most acccomodating and helpful people. And their prices are also better than the other places. I highly recommend them to my family, friends and anyone else looking for a good pharmacy run by people who really care.

The service is fantastic. Friendly and very helpful. I have a terrible memory and constantly forgetting to call my doctor to get my prescription renued and they go out of their way to help fill it so I’m not out of the meds.

This is a very friendly and professional run pharmacy. We went for our 4 th COVID vaccine booster today and at the same time also got our Shingles vaccine. Vishal explained all of our concerns and was very easy to deal with. I would totally recommend this pharmacy for your needs. We are now in the process of having our prescriptions filled there and have them deliver to us free! Great service!

49th Parallel Pharmacy has been our pharmacy since we moved to White Rock. Not only is it close to our house but it is also owned and operate by the most wonderful people! When we go in to pick up something for our family we are greeted by name and with a smile! Not something you get at every pharmacy, but the biggest reason we continue to go there!

Would highly recommend this pharmacy for prescriptions and vaccines. The entire staff was very polite and professional. I was a walk-in for my booster and the process so quick and easy. The pharmacist took the extra time to tell me the PharmaConnect app which I’ll download for future dispensing. I am very happy to return here!

I switched after the pharmacist explained the app they have. Excellent. No more long lines at SOF, workers hiding behind the screen at SOF, and no more parking concerns and crowds. I drive up, park and pick up in 5 minutes. Thank you 49th PP.

I had my Covid-19 booster shot at 49th parallel pharmacy. There was a very short wait time and because of the 4 person limit in their waiting room, I felt like their patient’s safety was taken seriously.

I booked my booster shot here and everyone was very kind and accommodating. I had a nice chat with the person who had administered the shot, which help me feel very relaxed during the entire process. I would definitely recommend going to this pharmacy, especially since they have an app that helps let you know when your prescriptions are ready without having to wait around.

I booked an appointment on the BC Vaccination site for my 3rd dose vaccine. There were numerous options available the next day. In the morning I called the pharmacy to enquire if I could also get my flu shot at the same time. No problem they said. I arrived a few minutes early after parking right in front. I filled in a quick form in the almost empty waiting area. Right on time, I was invited to take my shots which took only a few seconds each. The clinician was so very friendly, gracious and professional. A good experience.

Vish was very helpful in answering all my questions about the booster vaccine.
Mary went out of her way to call me to say they had received my prescription after my doctor's office had messed up sending it the first time. Very professional and friendly. Thank you, Vish and Mary, for knowing how to deal with customers, something a lot of places have forgotten how to do.

The best pharmacy I have been to. Whenever I go there they greet me by my name and a big smile. They are always very helpful with any questions I may have. They really care about you as a person

The staff are friendly, attentive and caring while remaining efficient and professional.
Everyone is so helpful. Moreover they know who I am. Not only me, I have also noticed that anyone walks in they always say Hi to them by name. Even if I call in refills a lot of them recognize my voice. It’s very different than when I was using big chain pharmacies.
Recently I had some issues with my daughter’s health and everyone over there were so compassionate that I started feeling like a family.

Canadian pharmacies are usually slow and do not use the modern technologies that are very helpful for the patient. This pharmacy is new and uses many of the new technologies to better serve the patient. The owners are young and energetic and helpful which means great service.

Super easy to book my flu vaccine online, but it probably would have been fine to just do walk-in. Staff were friendly and the location was right in central white rock.

Walk-in visit for a flu shot. Greeted with kindness and care. While waiting for the 10 mins after the shot to make sure I was ok they searched and offered me my booster Covid vaccine shot. Again greated with kindness and care. I felt looked after which is so important. Please visit I know you will feel the same.

The staff at 49th parallel pharmacy are knowledgeable, kind, and welcoming. They are well educated about all products they have in the pharmacy and they are always happy to answer any questions I have. 49th Parallel is a hidden gem in White Rock. This friendly family run pharmacy is prompt, efficient, and is so much nicer to deal with than the larger chain pharmacys. The keep track of your medications, review your medications regularly and are always, helpful, knowledgable and know you by name. Its a nice touch in todays world. I would highly recommend!
