Took my two kids here, one of them began crying because she couldn’t hear / couldn’t understand the instructions (which were rushed she could not see the example from where we were sitting) and when I asked if she could take her project home to finish because she was very upset i was told this is not allowed and they can’t bring any ‘raw materials’ out of the studio even her half finished sculpture. This seems very uncaring and not considerate of children and their needs. Would not recommend.

I’ll echo what SO MANY others have said. TL;DR I don’t think this studio is well equipped to provide services to adults (or children, from the sounds of it). I signed up for their Black Friday deal of 50% off adult pottery workshops, only to arrive and be told my name wasn’t on the list (even though I had a confirmation email, and the money had been taken off my CC). I wasn’t allowed in the class, but I did notice they had filled it to at least twice the capacity they list on their website; folks seemed to be crowded in the space. After 3 confused phone calls, I finally got a call from the manager to sort out the issue of my registration; at this point, I was no longer interested in being a patron at this business but she refused to give me a refund because they “never, ever do that”. She didn’t say she was sorry, she just tried to herd me into taking the next workshop series in a month. Suffice to say I won’t be going, because there’s no way I’m giving this business my TIME in addition to my now-wasted money. Instead I now have to use the 4Cats credit I’ve evidently paid for to buy my niece and nephews art supplies. Great example of how to lose a customer.

Really great place. Last week My girlfriend and I took the clay wheel class. The teacher was so kind and helpful. Today we painted our work (not too good but was okay for our first time) for only 10$ dollar per hour. We will definetly going to back.

Thank so much!

We tried our first self guided workshop at 4Cats and found it fun overall, but likely wouldn't do it again. We paid around $110 for 3.5 hours, broken into 2 separate sessions, to create mugs and a plate. It was our first time ever working with clay so we would've benefited from a) more hands on instruction and b) more time, but ultimately didn't deem the extra cost being worth it. There was a bit of mad dash by the last 30 minutes of our first session to finish the sculpting. You're given all of the tools and materials, but learning through videos on an iPad. There is also staff floating around to help answer questions.

Overall, my pro:
- fun activity to do with friends or date night

Cons:
- too expensive for basically watching YouTube videos, you're paying to use the kiln
- the iPad touch quality was not good, also laggy
- we had to keep rewinding and replaying so we could follow along

They close at 4pm.
Please don't trust the info on here, the 1-8pm is wrong. Showed up at 4: 20pm to pick up my plates and the clerk was still inside and came to explain they're close but won't let me pick up my plates she'd rather stand there for a few mins to explain they're close but won't walk 3 steps to grab the plates. What a joke. Could've gotten the plates and went on with it but she insisted to decline getting my plates. LOL drove all the way here for some logic-less explanation.

Pretty good experience but during the process of the workshop and glazing it feels like a bit understaff as well as a bit overpriced for just two bowl that I made from clay wheel

Please read the staff reviews on Indeed and Glass Door before deciding to support a company that values money over art and basic human decency.
Be aware that the majority of staff leave or are let go within 1-3 months because management sees staff as expendable slaves and treats them as such. Staff are subject to emotional and verbal abuse from unstable and unreliable management and are typically fired before they can challenge the status quo.
You and/or your child may enjoy their content, but remember your “art teachers” are overwhelmingly art school graduates getting paid minimum wage for janitorial work with no creative liberties.

You pay $20 per person per hour to watch an iPad tutorial. Instructors circulate and answer questions along the way, but due to staffing shortages, they were very busy and barely interacted with our group. Needless to say, it wasn't what I was expecting and I won't be returning.

Very disappointed there was no instructor and we had to watch the training video.

Bad customer service experience.

When I went to pick up the mug no one greeted me and I waited for 10min and I was the only customer. Receptionist was on the phone I was being polite for not interrupting she just went on and on but instead she could’ve put on hold and asked what I need. Then 5 min later she finally checked on me and asked the other staff in the back who was also like not care and told me to wait.

Extremely disappointed I felt being discriminated against.

The company should either train your staff better on client service or pay them better (bad pay is reflection of bad customer service).

Won’t go again.

Your kids will learn nothing. No professional training for the $$$ you are paying, just go watch online videos and buy crafts online.

They have really lost that special artistic touch. You can't be creative anymore and they don't want you to be. Strict rules. Lame building crafts, maybe cute for young kids but not the cool artsy place to be anymore. That's for sure

Very disappointed with this workshop. My friend and I had originally booked to make a vase and the first session of molding the vase was fine but when we came back to do the glaze, we were so disappointed.

First off, we had asked the online website for a rough estimate of how long to book to get for the glazing process and they said 1.5 hrs is fine so we had booked for that. When we actually get there and complete it, we had finished within 30 mins and we had asked the staff member about getting a refund back for the additional hour that we paid and they had told us that we would be able to if we talk to the online booking system. We had talked to them and they said we were unable to get our refund.

The second thing that I am disappointed with is the inside of the vase. One of the staff members had done the inside for us and when we came to pick it up, another staff member said that because the inside wasn’t done properly, we would not be able to put water in it. What’s the point of having a vase, if I can’t put water or flowers into it.

Great place for kids to explore their artistic nature with a variety of art media and techniques. Very nice studio and a place where kids enjoy being.

Amazing craft activities and supplies for kids (and adults). We held a birthday party here and attended several others. They continuously update the crafts, so there's always something new to try.

This was my first time booking a workshop, and it was the WORST experience ever. It was supposed to be a christmas gift for my mom and my cousin, and we were so disappointed by the service here. I used to work at a 4Cats so I was shocked on how differently they operated things. We booked the ceramic clay tealights workshop, and when we first went in, we were told where to sit, and to watch a tutorial on how to make it. I didn't know I paid to watch a video? I expected an actual instructor to teach us because that's how it was before, but instead, it was a video that I probably could've searched myself, which made it very impersonal. Besides that, there were so many instructors there, but no one told us where the materials were - I had to ask multiple times. It was very unwelcoming and unhelpful. Instructors used to teach and you would actually learn about the materials, so we felt ripped off that that no longer existed. When we went back for our second session to paint the clay, it was even worse than the first. They wasted 15 minutes of our PAID time looking for our clay projects - i'm sorry, but shouldn't it have already been ready for us? Extremely disorganized! And, the lady who was helping us was very unfriendly (she had blue curly hair, with a scowl on her face) and it seemed like she didn't even want to be there. The worst part was when i went to go pick the projects up, they weren't even glazed! The only thing that was glazed was the snowman's (red hat) nose and that was because it fell off. So they glazed the nose, but not the rest of the clay artwork? ! If i am paying for a finished project, I expect a finished project, not an incomplete one! If we had to glaze it ourselves, no one told us anything. They just told us where the paint was, and that was it. We also asked if they email/call when the projects were finished, and they said no, so whoever makes an art project here remember to pick it up, or else who knows, they may throw it away!
YOU GUYS DON'T INSTRUCT, YOU DON'T GLAZE, AND YOU DON'T NOTIFY YOUR CUSTOMERS FOR PICKUP. WHAT THE HELL DO YOU DO FOR WORK THEN? ! It's absolute GARBAGE service, and we will NOT be returning. Everyone was rude, and unhelpful, and i don't think i'll ever get over how much its changed for the worse. If you're seriously thinking of going to a 4Cats, AVOID THIS LOCATION OR SERIOUSLY FIND A BETTER ART STUDIO. Fix your damn customer service because we all felt completely scammed!

We had a glitch occur with our reservation, and 4cats went over and above to correct the error. My son's birthday party ended up even better than anticipated as a result. In a period when it sometimes feels like "customer service" is a thing of the past, it was so nice to find a business that still believes its customers are worth the effort. The result: we'll be booking even more events with them in the future. And we're happy to spread the word.
