UPDATE (May 2,2023) : The ham sub today tastes super bitter, so I bit into each ingredient separately to figure out why. The carrots were the culprit! They didn’t taste pickled today, just really bitter and soapy. I had to remove them from my sub to eat it. I edited my review to 4 stars to reflect the inconsistency.

The Vietnamese ham bahn mi sub from 5 Spice is so yummy and affordable! Love the authentic flavour with pickled veggies. Every order comes with complimentary tea. Great addition to the neighbourhood! I’m excited to try the pho.

Just a good Mom and Pop pho noodle place, nothing fancy, just home food. Not the place if you are looking for food that will satisfy your fancy food buds.was just good over all.

Was feeling sick when we ordered the food there. Staff was very caring and friendly. Provided complimentary hot tea twice when heard customer felt very cold. Food was delivered very quickly and with excellent manners.

Customer feel valued, welcomed, cared. Thank you for the hot tea on a cold rainy day. It happened months ago but left a great impression.

Go to place. Inexpensive, pleasant service, convenient location. Vegan tofu salad roll or tofu banh mi. Tasty but haphazardly assembled. Complimentary tea; hot in winter, iced in summer. Lovely people, support small business, always 20% tip!

I really enjoy the Bahn mi here, good price and good quality. Much better sandwich option than Subway on this block!

I was disappointed to see they give me a lemon grass chicken with rice, given the chicken that has the neck part on. I ended up throwing it, goes wasted. A waste of money to spend.

Been here twice now, really enjoy the lemongrass chicken vermicelli. Everything is fresh, yummy, reasonably priced and portions are great!
Subs are also good.

My partner and I had a really great experience ordering takeout. Staff was kind and cheerful, they gave us some iced tea while we waited for food. When I clumsily spilled my drink we were given another at no charge and the vermicelli bowl was absolutely delicious! Cannot wait to go back!

A small little shop with Vietnamese dishes to fill you up. Good portions & flavor for both my pho & vermicelli dishes. The grilled pork in particular was huge & full of explosive flavor. It is quite a small shop though so be mindful if you want to sit in for food.

Ordered take out from here and was disappointed unfortunately. I got a grilled pork vermicelli and all the noodles were cut up? It was really weird. The portion size is huge but they didn’t cut the meat up into slices. Also the spring roll was soggy not crispy at all. Flavour was nothing special but at least the vegetables were fresh. Wouldn’t order again tbh.

Really sweet owner, and the food tasted fresh and light. Meat was much better quality than at similar restaurants. Very refreshing meal!
