Fantastic burgers that transport you back in time! The patties were cooked to perfection, the buns were fresh, and the toppings were spot-on. Can't wait to go back for more

The quality of the ingredients is outstanding. The patties are juicy and perfectly seasoned, the buns are fresh and soft, and the toppings are fresh and bursting with flavour.

The staff is amicable, inviting, and consistently prepared to give proposals or answer any inquiries you might have. They make a warm and welcoming climate.

Excellent onion rings, good burgers, fries were underwhelming and soggy. Staff and vibe is awesome!

Bad service wrong order. And I told them I don’t eat pork. They put bacon in my hot dog sandwich. The order was Togo.and I didn’t know there is bacon until my friend throw up. I Really not recommend this restaurant i think they do it in purpose. And i think they need a visit from Fraser health if you know what I mean.

Home made not always means tasty.
We were there for the first time and last time.
Onion rings were good.
Bun was too dry, difficult to chew and had no taste. Meat also. Fully well well well done. Dry, no taste no salt no pepper no juice at all.
A lot of ingredients that fell off the burger and together unfortunately doesn’t even create any special taste or composition.
40$ for food that we eat just because it was pretty expensive for such food. Feeling very sad for such experience on the first day in Vancouver.

"A" for Approved. I will be coming again and again unless they screw up somehow - which doesn't seem likely to happen. Of course there are some things to be improved, but as it is - best burger joint I tried so far. Yes, FatBurger was also quite a thing but this one is close to home and.simple, which I appreciate. Also that name - 'FatBurger' just doesn't sound right.

The service was nice I'm just shocked how genuinely disgusting the burger was.the meat patty looked like it had been literally boiled, gray colored and pink on the inside, no flavor.the bun was stale and hard to chew and there was an insane amount of mustard overpowering everything else.

I almost feel these reviews can't be legit or maybe they had a change in management recently.either way I will never go back to this place. I'm sorry but that was an awful burger for that price and I have to be honest about it.

The quality of the burgers and fries have gone down a lot in the last few years unfortunately. The milkshake is still good but now they use a paper straw making it extremely difficult to suck up anything. Prices have also gone up quite a bit which I'm sure isn't the fault of the owner but you'd expect they at least keep the quality high with prices that high

Great burger joint Brian the owner is awesome and loves what he does. Great healthy ingredients Burgers are ground sirloin, hot dogs are huge and addictive, their fries are epic. Did I mention great milkshakes as well.

Awesome place, the food is incredible and the people are so nice. There's indoor and outdoor seating. Indoor is a little tight, but not bad.drive through, take out or dine in. Everything is homemade and fresh, even the buns. 50s' themed. Just really cool. 10/10.

Holy Cow, no pun intended. Amazing burger, awesome onion rings, great service. When I paid for it I thought it was a little pricey but it is well worth the price. The retro style is just fun too. I'm definitely going to be a repeat customer.

A unique throwback for some diner food. With milkshakes, lemonade, onion rings and a variety of burgers, 50's Burgers is a great little stop if you're in the Edmondson area. The sides and drinks in particular are my favourite choice. My only critique is the buns, I wish they were toasted to help them without the handmade patties and additions.

The best buger joint in town. Absolutely love the retro vibe, the owner also super cool to chat with. Shops like these where the owner is proud and stand behind his or her products are few and far between in today's climate. Support your local business.

Great service and tasty food. Burgers, hot doga and fries are well made. Only comment is that house-made buns are a good idea but sometimes don't hold up to lots of melty or saucy ingredients on patties or hot dogs. Messy, but worth it so be sure to have enough napkins

Unique in that they use fresh baked buns and hand cut fries. Pretty good diner style burger but the sirloin patty could have been juicer. They also have minute maid tasting lemonade. Overall, a tasty burger with real ingredients with homemade vibes.

I ordered a Bull dog, it was juicy & yummy. The bun was made in the shop and it had some herbs… it smelled pretty amazing! The fries tasted like home made fries!
What I like the most was how they provide me with a napkin, a wet towel & a catch-up without putting my order in a plastic bag!

Delicious when hot. I liked all the fillings (meat, lettuce, mushroom, bacon, red onion, grilled onion, cheese, tomato), but didn't care for the "baked in house" bun. The burger tasted what a burger should taste like. Decent fries. We waited for 40 min, so call ahead or expect to wait during peak times. Got our burgers at 8pm! Most diners left already!

Ordered from a delivery app and I was blown away. Best classic style burger I've had in a long time! Great value as well.

Absolutely phenomenal service and all around experience from the moment we arrived:
- Placing our order with the owner himself (who asked us to read his mission statement while grabbing us fresh fries to sample),
- The genuine passion, love and enthusiasm exuding from the owner,
- Checking out all the wicked memorabilia and signage around the shoppe while waiting for our food,
- waiting less than 15 mins on a beautiful day (family day holiday Monday),
- Enjoying every single bite of our HANDMADE COOKED TO ORDER FRESH NOT PROCESSED food.

- You also had the option to Walk in, Drive through, park and order, or call your order in ahead.

50's Burgers is a total retro experience, that is pretty much guaranteed to leave a smile on your face and make your tummy happy!

My only criticism:
- I ordered the retro soda shake (Americana orange cream soda with vanilla icecream) and for some reason it had strawberry syrup in it which was unexpected and not to my liking. I would've returned it and am positive the owner would've given me a new one but we were in a hurry to get to the ferry.

When I mentioned that this was my first time eating here, a man who I assume was the owner asked me to open my food and smell it. While I smelled my food I was told about how the bread is freshly baked, the chicken was organic and that I will love it. That level of pride in one's work alone is worth five stars

The food itself was good! They initially forgot the poutine so they apologized and gave me a side of fries for free. The Poutine is a nice tasting traditional Poutine (thick and heavy), the chicken sandwich is indeed high quality but a bit messy. Only complaint is that the fries by themselves was a bit bland but that's whatever, I came for the sandwich and poutine which delivered

I saw this place reviewed and was really excited to come finally try out the food. I ordered the L. A King.

Unfortunately I had to wait 40 mins for my food, the nice man did give me a heads up and I was totally down for waiting as I heard only good things a out this place! But he said he couldn't find me in the parking lot even though it was just me and another car just adjacent to the park and eat. I felt like he was blaming me, saying how he was looking everywhere for me. My burger was cold and fries we were not as good as I thought they were going to be. I waited the 40 mins on the button as he asked (he even said to be 'very very patient'). Also, he did not wear his mask properly which indicated to me the level of importance on following health and safety + covid19 protocols if I can add. This did not sit well with me as I waited for my food. When I see establishments flow protocol, it gives me confidence that they are doing what they need to do in the back and take care of their guests according to health code policies and provincial mandates.

For the burger, I was not a fan of the kaiser bun, it doesn't add any texture or flavor, felt not toasted either. Hard to tell at this point. It seemed like they don't believe in seasoning both their burgers or fries. No salt at all on the fries, which to tell you the truth I had high expectations for their Grandma fries.

Heads up, their 'drive thru' isn't really a drive thru when you have to park, then wait for your food in the parking lot. Yes you do this at McDonald's, but you wait less than 10mins. Maybe I missed the sign where it's more like a 'drive in' - definitely not a drive thru experience.

I hope your experience coming here is better than mine, they do have great reviews. But compared to what's out there, 50's Burgers has ot some room to grow, especially when they make such claims. They will pay $50 for a sirloin, hand pressed, better tasting burger. They may need to reconsider this, especially if I ever decide to visit again which is slim to none. I guess I really thought this was going to be an awesome day off meal to treat my self, I went to 5 Guys on the way home to satisfy my burger craving.

Delicious and well made. Forget the mainstream fast food, if you want a satisfying burger, get it here. And while you're at it, get a milkshake as well!

I've eaten burgers around the world and I found what I thought to be the best burger at a place called 8bit in Melbourne Australia. 50s Burgers just took that crown. Best burger I've ever eaten. Highly recommend!

Its pricey but worth it. If you want a quality burger with real ingredients made fresh, this is your place. If not, go to McDonalds.

I'll preface by saying I don't like beef, or pork. It leaves me with a greasy feeling in my stomach that I hate.

That being said, I felt None of that here, and it's very clear why.

This is far and away the best natural burgers that can be found in Canada. Their food is made fresh from meat they got From a Butcher that very morning.

No preservatives, no colorant, no flavor boosting; no needles inserted into this meat whatsoever.

They prove this by having the meat they purchased displayed in the front case.

So do NOT let this place's small exterior fool you because these are some of the best burgers I've tasted in my life. Succulent, Juicy, perfectly seasoned, and made with a love that you can feel.

On top of that, they make their bread fresh every day as well!

By far though, my favorite thing about this place is its owner. The boss is HILARIOUS! He had us laughing and enjoying ourself the entire time we were there. He told us about anything we asked, and often accompanied it with the practiced and proud explanation from a man who KNOWS that what he's selling is right.

Now, this place is Busy. Almost always from what I've seen. So call ahead or plan extra time because the wait is by faaaaaar worth it.

This place changed the way I view food, and made me understand that I don't hate Beef or Pork; I hate Fake Meat. It made me understand that I don't hate bread; I just hate Fake Bread.

This? This is what REAL food tastes like; and the amount of heart in this place only makes it taste better. This is how every restaurant should be. Real, true, honest, and authentic.

WARNING: The food here can be Highly addicting. They have signs up over there explaining this as well! So don't try Anything unless you're comfortable with never being able to look at a Big Mac the same again.

Over and above service, excellent meals and delicious milkshakes. Would definitely make this a go to restaurant if we lived here!

Excellent 1950's diner-style food, all freshly prepared, and really lives up to its name. Truly a unique dining experience with all the memorabilia from the 50s. Super, friendly service.

Cool place. Food is decent. The fries are proper. Really good service. Even though i didn't dine in and used the drive thru. The 50's music could be heard while i sat in my car.bringing me back in time. I'm a younger guy but i appreciated the moment spent at 50's diner.

The burgers are great! You know that feeling when you eat a fast food burger and it makes you feels gross? Well you arent going to get that feeling here! This establishment takes pride in their process of make their own buns, patties and fries! Its a must have burger!

The burgers here are excellent, however, the service is not. I got to the drive-thru tonight at 8: 45pm, 15 minutes before they're 9pm closing time. However, the employee inside completely ignored me, even though he came by the drive-thru window several times. I had to get out of my car and go to the front of the restaurant to confirm the closing time was indeed 9pm (which it was). Not only did they close at least 15 minutes before their closing time, but the employee did not even open the window to inform me of that. I give 2 stars for their great burgers, but I don't appreciate bad customer service. I will no longer go to this establishment. It is sad, because I have gone there quite a lot, and do really love their food. I give 3 stars, but only for the food, not the service.

I truly enjoyed the ambiance of 50's Burgers. Love me tender by Elvis Presley was playing on their radio. It's like stepping back in time. The burgers were juicy and very tasty on their homemade bread. The onion rings were delicious. The French fries are some of the best that I've tasted. The only thing that I found a bit of a downside would be they have no delivery. I paid for a taxi round trip ($20). I still give 50's Burgers 5s.

Food was mediocre. Service was horrible, they added fresh tomatoes to burgers when they were told not to as it is an allergy to just fresh tomatoes. They then said we should have let them know as they weren't mind readers. Definitely will not go there again.

Good classic burger. Great house-made bread with good structure supporting wider! Burgers (not taller). Kudos!

The hot dog is no slouch. Good value.

Unprocessed patty, store-made bun and thick fries chunk! Mushrooms are exceptionally juicy with texture. Very friendly and warm customer service. Was offered to try their lemonade. Refreshing!

Delicious burgers that actually taste like beef with a soft fluffy bun. The fries and poutine were fresh. Only let down is their ice cream float was kind of sad. A scoop of ice cream and a third of a can of pop poured into the cup. After the fuzz came down the cup was only half full. That’s not how an ice cream float should be. Also the lemonade was straight up lemon juice and water - it was so sour. Appreciate the friendly staff.

I am a happy happy customer. I rate 5 out of 5. Thick juicy burger with mushroom come with famous fried caramel onion. Lots of hand made skin on chips. I waited for 5 minutes for my fresh burger. I have all the time for a perfect make. I shall come back staff friendly, atmosphere relax. My kind of burger place. I hope 50s make enough money to stay in business as long as i stay in edmond neighbourhood. Pay less than $12 for my meal.it worth $19 Check it out

You can tell the person who owns this place isn't the original owner the ingredients are good but the passion is gone. To much mustards and ketchup

I asked nicely for a fork for my son, he looked at me as though I did something wrong to ask and the guy interrogated me after he gave it to me.

I love this place its so good. Homemade everything. Good food excellent service. My first time and i will definately be back with the family.

The best veggie burger in greater Vancouver and I'll fight anyone who disagrees with me. It's the real deal; not a cop-out addition to the menu to appease vegetarians. Service can be slow on weekends because they're always busy but it's absolutely worth the wait. Don't even think of skipping fries.

Customer service was good. However asked for a coke zero twice and got diet coke. Fish and chips were just ok, a nice light batter with baking powder to rise the batter would've been great. Very flat. Burgers were ok, hot dog good, bread was nice. Fries are fresh and hand cut, a little thick and overcooked. All in all so much potential but doesn't hit the mark.

I love the menu slip where you get to build your burger. Service is always quick, and quality is excellent! This place is a community gem!

30 minute wait for a mediocre burger, overcooked fries with the blight still in the potatoes. Customer service could use some work. Don't bother asking for ice in your drink. There are seats around back if the weather's nice.

Today was my first time here, needless to say I won’t come back. The images of the food were completely different then what i got.also waited 40 mins for two burgers. I’m never one to complain or say things but that’s crazy. Now I have the worst pain in my stomach ever and can’t get off the toilet lol. Help me

Went there last week Thursday afternoon with my family, I had their chilly-dog, my goodness, it was the best chilly-dog I've ever had in my life. And they had this old-school bottle drinks which comes in different colors and flavors. Great place. Definitely looking to going back.

Amazing food, 10 outta 10 quality and taste. The owner is Absolutely wonderful and friendly. He showed us all his quality and fresh baked food and explained to us the best and even gave samples for our party of 6 today. He has a long term customer now and the chicken sandwich really was as addictive as he said.its got really good flavor. Ill be back FOR SURE. Loved it

Best Burgers Fresh cut Fires and Fresh Shakes?
This place reminds of the Golden Era of 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. Original!

The owner and staff clearly love their jobs and love talking about the business and are very friendly. Food was fresh and tasty just not better than some others in my opinion. If your in the area it is definitely worth a stop. Just like home cooking.

Its a cute place to hang out, meet friends, and have a milk shake, but I didnt care much for their burger.

This is my first time here, and I got the LA King burger (bacon, mushroom, cheese burger). In my own opinion, it was just ok tasting. The fries were soggy but well seasoned.

It took us 30 minutes to get our burgers. Maybe it was really busy; there were a few cars in the lot. But I feel like 30 minutes is a little long, even for a fresh burger. Can you imagine when you go for a meal, it takes 30 minutes for your food to come? They make it fresh too.

Theres also a medium sized rat that lives in the premises. It jumps from garbage can to garbage can in the back. Im not afraid of rats, but I can see how others will be appalled by it. The rat was probably 6 inches long, not including its tail.

Great good at a great price. The burgers are delicious worth they wait. They customer service was also on point. They were really nice and seemed like they were enjoying their job.

My only concern was the wait time for the food. If you go there when they open, you might have to wait up to 45 minutes for the food. I was lucky and was able to get my food within 30 minutes. But the people who lined up in front of me didn't get their food.even after I ate and left. Another issue was they they weren't organized. People didn't know where to line up and there was no sign saying where to pick up the food. Also there's no trash bin or sign to show where to put the tray.just a bit unorganized.

However, I would definitely come here again but maybe in the off hours.
