Friendly, clean, convenient. What more can you ask? Oh wait, great coffee! And the clerk made sure we got the better deal by buying the larger size that was on sale. Will be back.

Can’t sell a lighter even with a picture of my ID? Everywhere else does. Crackheads can buy them and start a fire outside but I can’t to light my candle? I’m clearly of age. The lady working seems to always be on some sort of power trip… Just go to CircleK and save yourself the headache.

MY neighbourhood 7 Eleven for 20 plus years. Have the best staff. Friendly and always ready to assist. I have always had a pleasant experience with all of the staff that have worked there over the years. Thank you!

Friendly staff, however this is the first store in at least a decade that I haven’t been able to purchase non-dairy milk products from. They don’t have any. Not a single one. This is 2023; are you serious?

My recent visit to the 7/11 store on Denman Street was nothing short of infuriating and eye-opening. The new Indian female cashier working there showcased an appalling display of double standards that left me feeling utterly disgusted.

Firstly, I attempted to purchase a simple lighter, and this cashier had the nerve to demand my ID as if I were trying to buy alcohol or cigarettes! I'm a grown woman in my 30s, and anyone with a shred of common sense could see that I'm well above the legal age to buy such an item. Her refusal was not only insulting but also a clear indication of her lack of judgement and ability to treat customers with respect.

But what shocked me even more was witnessing her lack of moral integrity just moments before my unfortunate encounter. Right in front of me, she sold a lottery ticket to an obviously addicted homeless person. It was painfully evident that this individual was struggling with addiction and homelessness, and yet, the cashier didn't hesitate to facilitate their harmful behavior.

This blatant hypocrisy left me speechless. So, selling a potentially harmful product like a lottery ticket to a vulnerable person is okay, but selling a lighter to a responsible adult requires stringent verification? It's mind-boggling how someone can claim to uphold morals while selectively applying them to suit their whims.

The lack of professionalism and the apparent disregard for customer well-being displayed by this cashier have left me with an incredibly bitter taste in my mouth. 7/11 should be ashamed to employ someone who exhibits such a lack of fairness, empathy, and basic understanding.

I urge anyone considering visiting this 7/11 location on Denman Street to think twice. You might be subjected to discriminatory treatment, witness unethical behavior, and experience the height of hypocrisy. Avoid this store until they hire staff who possess the most basic understanding of customer service and have the capacity to treat all patrons with equal respect and dignity.

Super corrupt, always check your prices. New scam, they lag card purchases so it fails and then you pay twice!
