I have been coming to this clinic for several years now as I wanted to find a place that specialized in natural aesthetic upgrades, and this is THE place for that. I see Lisa regularly for Botox and lip filler and what I especially like about Lisa is that in addition to enhancing my natural features and not making me look fake or filled, she’s brilliant at administering the product so it lasts and looks very fresh and natural. Although I’m generally bullish on lip filler, Lisa actually never “overfills” my lips which means that I don’t have the fake duck lips or migrating filler, for which I’m very grateful! She helps keep my face youthful and natural – I highly recommend her professionalism and terrific work.

I want to share my fabulous experience at 8 West Clinic. First of all, front desk staff were warm and welcoming. My first 2 treatments involved Potenza, RF micro needling and my results were fantastic. I just completed my third treatment and after thoroughly reviewing photos/skin Sonya and I decided to progress to a Halo. On all three occasions I felt comfortable, totally informed and involved in my treatment regime.
It’s only been 5 days since my last treatment and I’m already seeing amazing results!

I underwent a Sciton brand ‘Halo Hybrid Fractional Laser’ treatment with Suzanne, the Senior Medical Aesthetician at 8 West. She is very kind as well as highly trained in the operation of the various laser resurfacing technologies. While I was doing the treatment, I learned that 8 West was the first clinic in Vancouver to own a Sciton brand Halo laser device. The procedure itself is virtually painless yet capable of remarkable results (albeit with a few weeks of downtime). During my initial consultation it was my experience that the 8 West staff earnestly wanted to help me achieve my goals. I also appreciated the transparency and honesty when it came to the treatment downtime and potential outcomes. I just had a treatment here and it was such a great experience.
The only thing was that the first receptionist I talked to had no smile on, nor made the first impression welcoming, so I felt really uneasy staying and started to have second thoughts while waiting to be called.
But my worries went away as soon as I saw nurses and Doctor.
Doctor was very nice and understanding, also she was very honest about the treatment. She didn’t mind taking time and explaining everything I needed to know.
So as soon as I had consultation with her I decided to trust her and had treatment. Nurses were very sweet and nice too, it made me feel very easy.

I don’t think there are even words for how happy I am after going to see Lisa at 8 west for my very first lip filler and botox session! From the moment I walked in I was comforted by the very appealing reception and friendly staff. Clean and warm feeling with a luxury vibe.

Josh did my numbing cream, took pics and talked over details with me before I saw Lisa. He was a gem and clearly cares for people and for what he does.

Lisa went over the process and was very funny and personable. I quite liked her right away. She was very sweet and helpful when I got a lil woozy and had to stop for a minute. Didn’t hurt really at all, more the adrenaline and everything all at once can have that affect! Same thing with my first tattoo. Lisa went over how much she thought I would need, and made sure my expectations were realistic. She actually crushed it. My lips look insane and it’s only been 18 hours at this point. I cant imagine what it will be after a week!

I got a little bit of botox in my chin as well, and right under the right side of my nose area to stop my lips from doing an Elvis impersonation every time I talk or laugh!

I had a halo and bbl treatment recently. The staff are all very professional as well as kind and skilled in their field. Suzanne treated me and was honest in what I could expect and worked very thoroughly on my skin to achieve the best results. I have never trusted a clinic as much as I do with 8 west! I originally had never had any experience with a skin clinic and when I was referred to Lisa for lip injections I was immediately hooked. I had a rhinoplasty done in August and the results so far have been amazing. I felt that he really listened to what I wanted to do (hump reduction and refined tip) and was very realistic and honest about the improvements he could make. I went into surgery happy with the improvements we talked about but the results came out even better, he definitely exceeded what I thought was possible! The twilight anaesthetic was no big deal, I was conscious and aware but sleepy and in no pain at all, and having experienced both complete-knock-out anaesthesia and this, I can definitely say the recovery is so much better/easier after twilight. I was comfortable the whole time and the staff were kind while I was in my post-surgery emotional state. I am 6 months post-op now and I see my nose getting more refined every week - can’t wait to see the final result at one year! If you’re looking for a natural but refined nose job for the side profile of your dreams, Dr. B is definitely Vancouver’s best!

I had a treatment with Suzanne, a series of three sessions, to improve the sun-damaged skin on my face. I am very happy with the results. I am very fair and have had problems with my skin for as long as I remember, lots of skin cancer. By the end of my treatment, my skin had a softness and glow which is kind of unbelievable. I have even received complements on my skin which is a new experience. Suzanne was informative and skilled. She is also a delightful human being.

My 21 year old daughter recently had a Rhinoplasty procedure at 8 West Clinic by Dr Buonassisi (Dr B).

The entire experience: Pre-Consultation, Consultation with Dr B, and preparation for the big day, was so easy and pleasant. We (yes I needed looking after too) were well looked after by the guidance of the Patient Care Team. Dr B is personable and explains things carefully and simply. His confidence and easy manner is comforting. Now I realise why he is so confident. The results were above and beyond what we had expected or even hoped for. The recovery was surprisingly easy with aftercare and reassurance.
She took the pain meds for only one day and switched to regular Tylenol. She wanted pancakes immediately after the procedure. The result is natural and balanced. She is thrilled.

I am a new client at 8 west and have seen Jenn, RN for a brow lift and consultation, as well as, Sonya, RN for a skin consultation. I would definitely recommend the clinic and both Jenn and Sonya to others. I phoned to get some information and book a consult. I left my name and number, repeated it twice for good measure. That was September 9th, almost two weeks and counting. This is a big red flag to me. I won't be going there even if they do phone.

I had 2 sessions of Belkyra done with Lisa, and had a great experience and great results! The clinic was very clean and pretty, and the staff were all very kind to me as well! Lisa was great as she answered all of my questions and kept me very comfortable and calm during my sessions.

I asked to get an earlier appointment so I could park on the street. This request was met with a consultation with three different people and I still couldn’t get the follow up appointment. I have grown frustrated with dealing with the many ‘doctor’s assistants’ and have decided to go to Hush with Dr Rose. She is amazing and has all the time in the world for her patients unlike dr B who seems distracted at every meeting I’ve had with him.

I’ve never gotten a response of my quotation with Mica Chan, “patient care manager”. I’ve done answering rhinoplasty questionnaire etc.yet until now I’m waiting for someone who can assist me. I emailed this clinic June 20, hello it’s August now. Thinking to give my patronage somewhere else then

I dream of getting rhinoplasty from Dr. B one day (I'm saving up) and wanted to try lip fillers as a way to balance my face in the meantime. I knew I wanted 8 west for rhinoplasty, but I shopped around when it came to lip filler, seeing a few different injectors before I met with Lisa at 8 west.

I instantly noticed Lisa's expertise and honesty, and now after a couple years of her doing my lip filler and botox, I recommend her for those exact reasons. She's an expert in her field and it shows. I felt like in the past, injectors didn't look much at my entire face and targeted one issue. Like if I wanted bigger lips, they just gave them to me, which ultimately caused issues like filler migration in or above my lips; if I wanted to relax my forehead a little, they'd freeze one little area, but that would end up making other parts of my face more expressive, resulting in some deeper wrinkles elsewhere.

Because Lisa looks at the whole picture/your whole face and has so much experience, her style is realistic and informed. If you want absolute honesty and great results, see Lisa! My results are awesome yet natural enough that people don't know what I've had done, they just say "you look great! " I've even had "did you lose weight? " when um, no, quite the opposite during the pandemic.

Recently, I also saw Sonya for skin. She was also great! Honest, helpful, and sweet. After years of reading magazines, seeing dermatologists, etc, I still learned new things about my skin from her within a short consult. I did a peel and lasers for acne rosacea and plan to do more skin maintenance stuff in the future! And I can't wait to finally see Dr. B for my nose one day ;)

I recently had a surgery for FOXY Eye at 8 west Clinic by "Dr Buonassisi" and I am so upset and UNHAPPY with my surgery results. I paid $5000 and absolutely no result! I'm not exaggerating, if I had Botax I'm sure i had much much better result than this with only $500! I NEVER ever come back and recommend anyone here! They are nice to you until get the money! Not good experience, I have told different things On the phone consultation. They said I can make monthly payment and when they schedule me and charged me $200 for the consultation in person, they said no we don’t have financing.it was totally disappointing and disrespecting bcz before everything It was my main concern about monthly payments and over the phone they said yes.

Lisa did my botox and lip filler and I am very pleased with the service I received. She listened carefully to what I wanted and even encouraged something different than what I had originally thought to ensure I got the results I truly wanted. I couldn’t say enough good things about this clinic. The staff are friendly, helpful and attentive. Lisa did my fillers for me and she is nothing short of an artist. She really has a keen eye and I have never had someone who really takes her time, looking at the whole face. Recently had an appointment for Dysport and fillers with RN Lisa. My main concerns were wrinkles when smiling and frowning and looking tired and droopy. Lisa put in just the right amount of fillers around my mouth for the perfect ‘lift’ as well as some in my cheeks. I was immediately satisfied with the results!
