Very friendly staff. Technicians are knowledgeable and take the time to explain their finding. The issue with our vehicle was identified and resolved post haste and at a fair price. Would definitely recommend if you have any transmission issues.

I got my front rotors and brake pads changed from a & b transmissions. While getting my vehicle serviced I found that the front brake pads are already 50% worn out only after driving about 10k kms while my rear brake haven’t changed much. Even after paying $1200 for just replacing front rotors and brake pads, they used very cheap parts. Front Rotors would heat up in just few minutes of driving and accumulate brake dust very quickly. I can often hear squeaking sounds from front brakes but they will never acknowledge the issue despite checking the vehicle multiple times.

Gord and his team stand behind their word, not done often enough nowadays, so very nice to see! We would highly recommend Gord and his team for any transmission work that you may need, an easy 5 stars from us! Keep up the Great work!

My Honda Odyssey recently became very noisy. During routine transmission oil change technicians without a test drive identified the source of the noise as faulty front wheel ball bearings. I was fit into schedule and the extra service was performed quickly and efficiently. The noise is now gone and I am happy how the car drives. The noise was previously identified at the authorized Honda dealership as a suspension failure with an estimate several times higher than I was charged at A&B Transmission. I am strongly recommending their service and expertise.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place for your transmissions issues. This place was 100% honest and didnt gouge me for any unnecessary repairs. I can't say enough good things about Jodie and the team at A&B. They were professional, upfront and Jodie went above and beyond when dealing with third parties. She checked in with me every step of the way, providing updates and suggestions as things came up. This will be my go to garage moving forward, still amazed at the level of service they provided.

Brought my Jeep in because the Oil Change place found chunks in my rear differential. Jodie was awesome to work with. I let her know that I had a 3rd party warranty, and she dealt with the rest. She was in contact with me across a couple days, letting me know everything that was going on and how much the warranty was gonna cover. In the end everything that needed fixing got fixed and my car was back in my hands in a suprising short time. Would highly suggest for driveline diagnosis and repair! A&B has always served me with integrity. Jodie was super helpful over the phone when I called from the roadside. Got me in the same day to diagnose, and had my vehicle back by the next evening.

There was a minor issue with the repair (it was a notoriously difficult part to get just right), they got it solved the same day. Unfortunately the part failed 8 months later (not A&B's fault), got the vehicle in and out the same day again. Most importantly, they stood behind their warranty!

While the prices are average, definitely not the lowest, you're getting full value and then some. I haven't hesitated, and won't hesitate to use A&B in the future.

I was afraid that because I am a woman, this workshop would take advantage and I could spend more money on things that I didn't need to get my car fixed. I set an online appointment on Friday and was able to bring my vehicle in on the following Monday. They were very communicative and let me know the problem wasn't as bad as I thought. I was very happy with the service and will use them again.

After 10 years my air conditioning was kaput. I suspected that the refrigerant was expended and brought it in for service. A & B honestly confirmed as such and repaired it, now it blows ice cold.

Very disappointed in the service my wife received when she took our manual transmission Subaru in to check on a humming that occurred audibly at low RPMs. First of all, they were reporting that we needed a new clutch because it was "slipping all over the place. " You would think that if it was that bad, my wife would be missing shifts on the drive over to the shop. They were even certain that the humming noise was not a transmission issue but probably coming from a belt that needed addressing. Taking it to two other shops afterwards, the subsequent diagnosis were correct that it was indeed transmission related, NOT a belt issue (in fact it ended up being a flywheel issue). And here's the kicker, we were charged $160 just to have the car looked at, and then they were pushing us to book for a clutch replacement. And this inspection fee was not going to go towards the cost of the total clutch replacement. So glad we cut our losses, and so sad that we did not experience the same by customers who gave such glowing reviews.

It was amazing service. I can’t thank you all enough for everything you’ve done. It was fast, efficient, professional, helpful and informative. It was a very stressful situation and this shop took care of us 100%. I was very thankful and pleased that our tow truck took us here. We will definitely be back again.

The people were really great the service was excellent the prices were reasonable I had no problems I would require all people go there where your transmission's are brakes needs their very good workers and friendly people

Amazing service. Took my Kia in to be serviced in the morning and was out by noon. Didnt overbill and was honest with me. Called back with updates throughout the day. Very impressed. The lady at the front desk was amazing. Awesome! I am going to refer these guys to anyone that asks.thanks!

I was charged less than what I was quoted based on the actual work completed. I appreciated this level of honesty. Not only will I be back as a repeat customer, but I will also recommend A & B tramission to others too.

Great family owned shop, very fair pricing, will continue taking my vehicles here. Repaired my clutch within one working day, pleasant and honest, they don't screw around as dealerships do. 100% recommend bringing a vehicle here if you enjoy working with honest people who are good at what they do.

Deleted my last review so here we go.
Saw so many great reviews about this place, brought my car in to get the front and rear input bearings done on my transmission. After I got my car back (expecting it to run smoothly) especially after spending 2500$ on two 60$ bearings for a manual transmission.it had a god awful noise coming from the transmission along with a loose stearing shaft. I myself wasn't sure what was happening with my car so I brought it back. Greeted by Gord, he made me feel so assured that my car would be taken care of. It was "in the shop" another week. When I got it back he said his transmission man went over it with a fine tooth comb and found no issues. So. I continue driving my car. I bring it to my friends shop, he took a look at my steering column and it turns out the intermediate steering shaft bolt was hanging on by a thread. Super easy fix and I had no idea This could even happen. This steering wheel had been like this since I FIRST got the car back. I drove it like that for a few months. Lethal. They never even looked at my car a second time AND if my friend didnt see this I could have lost control of my car - killing or hurting myself and possibly other people. My transmission is also still making an awful noise but I'll be damned if I ever step foot in this shop again. Seems to me these people are friendly to your face but cut corners behind your back.
And yes I will continue to repost this so people know what they are getting into, espically people who are not mechanics/mechanically inclined.

I was very impressed with the service and quality of work from A&B. All of my questions were answered in great detail with a friendly and professional demeanor. I would take my car back here again for future service and recommend A&B to anyone looking for a trustworthy repair shop.

Excellent service, they found noise from the diff's even the local Dealer could not figure out. All signs pointed to the transfer case but these guys diagnosed the problem to a completely different area. Well done and thanks.

A&B came highly recommended from a service shop in White Rock who readily use it for transmission work. I handed owner Gord the keys to my 1989 Toyota 4x4 pickup for a transmission makeover, and a week later took delivery of my old faithful truck which had been repaired and reconditioned to much positive effect. Not only was the transmission rebuilt, but the clutch assembly and many suspect parts replaced or redone. I found Jodie on the front counter to be an excellent interface between the machinations of the shop and myself the.attending customer.
