My experience with Gateway Auto Wrecking has been excellent. The staff addressed all of our queries with expertise, friendliness, and patience. They made it simple and stress-free to locate the appropriate components for my automobile.

The worst wreckage in bc. So hard to deal with these people. They refused to give me back my money after they gave me two wrong transmissions.

You pick it, and they will pull it for you.great people to call and ask if you are looking for something you need, tell you over the phone how it is.

So i did perches part for my Audi and after i left and try to reinstall it notice that i need the pigtail as well then i went back and ask the guys can you help me out with it and without hesitations they got me the pigtail with no extra charge.just want to say these are good guys.thanks

TERRIBLE. Sold me a window regulator, motor worked but cables bound up half way up. I politely called several times asking for a refund. They were un willing to deal with the situation at all and hung up on me.

Drove from Langley to save 20 bucks from the Amazon price. I remember when these places were around half the price.

Mind you that used parts are a hell of alot cheaper then those Covid prices, if you noticed prices? Way-over priced.

Absolute scammers. Tried over charging for broken parts. I called ahead they said they had the part so I drove over an HR there and they didn't have what I needed. When I tryed to drop the price on one broken piece I needed they said I wasted there time. Do not go here. Save your frustration.

Was able to find the parts I needed at the right price. Staff were much more friendly and helpful than I have experienced at other wreckers.

UPDATE THE 2nd RADIATOR I purchased is broken, my car overheated and is now un-drivable! They sold me 2 broken radiators and now my car is damaged! DO NOT BUY PARTS FROM THEM!

I purchased a part, only to find it was broken and when I tried to exchange it, they made it very difficult, had to make to trips just to exchange the part, only to be told when we got a replacement that it was “ final sale “ so it’s not even installed, we have no idea if it’s a broken part like the last one… but we can’t take it back…. I totally feel like I was hustled out of my money. Okay they advertise that they guarantee their parts…. FALSE, now I’m seriously considering reporting them to the BBB and whatever licensing agency is applicable.

I had to wait for 30 min while the guy was getting call after call. The price for the parts I needed was high compared to others.
Also the parts were bent and missing trims.

Nice guys but I overpaid for the part. Car-part.com had it for $35 and he tried to charge me $150. Paid 100 in the end.

Gateway people were friendly and helpful. In all a good experience. I would and I will use them again.

I just came here and asked nicely for parts of HONDA.waited patiently. A Torsion Spring and CLIP for $120. Even asking my age & gender while walking to look for the car is just unacceptable very unprofessional! Pricing me triple of the brand new price is just a clear RIP OFF! NiCE Try A, you are a BIG JOKE! $40.95 is the total price from HONDA Dealership. I will NEVER give my business to this CHEATER!

Obviously the positive reviews r either friends or they asked them to give a good review. Went here to see if I could get door actuators, quoted me triple the price of new actuators, and acted really shady, ended up getting a rear mat for my Crv wanted $90 for it and when I said no went down to $50 then I said no again and proceeded to leave he chased me out and said $30 lol. I’ve been to much better wreckers

I Called them for a window that someone smashed while visiting. They told me they never had it but they sent me to who did and saved me tons of searching. That's worth 5 starts to me.

Didn't get the part I was told I was being sold, piss poor service and not very knowledgeable staff. Go else where if you can.

The website says it opens at 11: 45 on Saturday. We sat outside and waited and he rolled in slowly a half hour late. Such an unprofessional way to run a business. We called yesterday for a part and it wasn’t even ready when we got here. We bought the part installed it before we left and it didn’t work. We tried to get our money back and he said we ripped him off and started swearing at us. We threatened to call the police and showed him that it didn’t work. We did end up getting our money back and he apologized and offered to help figure out the problem. Turned out that it was a communication issue. However, to automatically assume that we were trying to rip him off was wrong and I hope that he learns something from this in the future. Instead of yelling and swearing he could have simply just offered to test it, as it was only a 2 minute install.

Been getting Toyota parts off these guys for years. A little pricey for an auto wrecker but it is what it is.

I had to call multiple times to secure the part I needed, but overall had a great experience here. Both of the gentlemen I dealt with were eager to help and made me feel like they truly valued my business - a quality that's hard to come by these days. Pricing was reasonable too! Will definitely be my go-to store for used auto parts.

I was there for almost one hour because i have to check a few cars and tested a part on my car and all people came to pick up was happy and treated well by owner, lots of cars there make sure you have time to spend to find a part that you are looking for, great price, In lower mainland is the best Auto Wrecking, compare to dealer is only missing free Coffee.

Talking to James and his brother is easier. However, now that the owners took over this place is a disaster. They have very poor communication skills and listening skills. Very poor interpersonal skills too. They are very difficult to deal with both over the phone and at the shop. They always talk and argue with customer trying to make themselves look/sound like they are superior. They don't trust their staff, they don't trust anyone, they don't trust themselves. I guess they are not really trustworthy. I went to buy something and I asked if i can have both the items for a price he mentioned and the owner said "sure". When i handed the payment, he said you can't take two, just one. Whatttt? So I got my payment back and just left.and never will return to this shop again. Anyway, their price now here is way more expensive than online/amazon. For a plastic junk i thought i could re-purpose (that they will throw away), as soon as you touch it and they see that you are interested, they price it high (while the item was actually on the way to the trash bin). Gateway, you are not the only one in British Columbia. So think again the way you deal with your customers. You need a great lesson and training on interpersonal skills or people-skills, coz you really suck at it BIG TIME!

Extremely rude staff, they sold me not one, but two motors and they both needed to be repaired the moment I got them. They also lied about the price and made comments after I had to pay a substantial amount of money. Put it this way, if any of the workmanship that came out of there left my store, I would be firing people all day.

Tried to charge me almost double what other wreckers charge for parts. Im not even going to bother negotiating with someone who tried to completely rip me off as a starting point.

Really good place to get cheap parts.
I recomend this wreckers to any one who likes to be treated good.

Well it's a wrecking yard, that's all I can say. The guys inside try to make you believe what you need is super expensive and that they are giving you a deal. Well sorry boys when you know stuff about cars you cant lie to someone like that. Trying to tell me my item is perfect and will work was funny and the price they tried to charge was even funnier. It's TRUE when they say people in the auto industry will try to rip you off. These guys try but dont bother, buy from the dealer is probably better cause you know you will get what you need and it will work.

They try to rip you off! Look up the price of what you're looking for before you go there. They're so dishonest they literally told me something was in great condition when it had a hole in it.
I really like re-using parts and minimizing waste.which in turn makes me really appreciate wrecker. I really hope that A-Gateway Auto Wrecking Ltd Reads this and tries to change there ways of doing business.

Price gougerd. Tried to sell me a driver's side window for over 150$ when pick a part charges 25$ for Windows absolutely ridiculous. Tried to tell me "it's coming out of a perfectly good door that's why the price is so high" news flash if a door isn't in perfectly good at an auto wrecker chances are the windows smashed.

I have lost time and patience because of these guys

I have tried to buy some parts from them but they would always have blurry prices and when I ask them to quote on some parts they would say I can't do that right now you have to come down and when I went down they still couldn't do the price because his brother wasn't there and that happened three times in a row over the phone they're calling me to come down then when I get down we don't do anything.

Guys don't waste your time I sure did waste mine.

Called for a passenger side mirror that was very tough to find. They took my name and number and called back in 5 mins with the part! Thank you so much! Very friendly guys in there. Unfortunately the new mirror was in perfect condition and makes my old ratty mirror look bad hahaha!

I came looking for a part for my vehicle and this was my first time attending an auto wrecker. I called other places before attending here and they were unfriendly to speak with. But when I called here I was greeted by Mike who was polite and said they have vehicles that match mine. When I arrived, he helped me locate the vehicles I needed to look at and gave me great advice on how to fix my issue. All of his staff were helpful and friendly. This will be my go to place when my aging vehicle needs more parts. I recommend going here before going anywhere else if you are new to auto wreckers or familiar because good honest customer service is hard to come by.

I had to take a few minutes to compose myself to write this.but here we go. A few months ago, I had my quarter panel glass smashed as someone broke into my Escape. After visiting a glass shop, I was given Gateway's number as they said they had the part in stock, I drove to Langley to pick it up, paid $250, and after coming back to the glass shop, was told it was the wrong part, with aftermarket tints. I called back a few days later, was told the owner was gone, left my info but no on called me back. I called over a dozen times in the next few weeks, only to have my call not answered or was told the owner was not in. I decided to try and sell it myself and started looking for the right part, which I found on Ebay for $150, delivered. The initial break-in and the following loss was rough, since I did not have comprehensive insurance, all came out of pocket which meant some summer activities with the kids had to be cancelled. Pleading to Mike, the owner did nothing; he did not care that it was the wrong part, he did not take any responsibility for his mistake except to offer me a credit which I would never use, and I'm sure he knows this well.
Mike, you know you made a mistake, take the responsible route and make it right - from one single dad to another.

Got a good selection of hubcaps many different styles for same import car Toyota.very social people here also. STOCK IS CHANGING constantly
