A Taste of Victoria Food Tours

We were looking for something different to do at the end of November.read the reviews and booked it! Was a perfect way to have lunch and be together with our friends and also learn a bit about Victoria history. Food tasting was excellent! Andy did everything he said he would do and showed us some new spots to get some great food!

Very well done! Felt like it was a good mix between learning the history of the area and getting to try a lot of local, yummy treats. Everything we ate was so unique and different from what I would normally order, I enjoyed trying new items. We went as a family of 3, with our 16-month old daughter in a stroller and didn't have any problems. Andy was so authentic and easy going and made the time a true joy. Highly recommend the tour to visitors and locals alike!

Andy is a wonderful tour guide. The food was amazing and we learned fun facts about the history and architecture in the area as well. Highly recommend this tour!

Did this experience for my partners birthday a few weeks ago and we’ve been talking about it ever since. The guide was super accommodating and knowledgeable. The food was fantastic, and there was a lot of variety. We were full by the end of it! Although we live here we didn’t go to a single location we had visited before.
I’ll for sure be taking this tour again and recommending it to whoever listens.

Andy was an amazing host - personable, fun and full of interesting facts, stories and historical tidbits about where we were and what we were seeing. He lives there and brought his own direct experiences and his love for Victoria, its culture, history and diversity to our tour. And delectable food treats along the way. This is a "must do" experience in Victoria! (Rain or shine!)

My wife dragged me on this tour and I didn't want to go. But holy hell it was worth it. I'm at glad I did, Andy the guide was phenomenal and I learned a bunch about the city and ate some great food. Great way to introduce yourself to Victoria. Just do it!

This tour with Andy was the highlight of our visit to Victoria. It was a fantastic way to learn about the city and get a feel for getting around. We returned to several of the spots for future meals. Andy is so knowledgeable and adds his history stories of each stop. He is the best.

I've only taken one food tour previously in Rome and loved it. Andy our guide and tour owner was fabulous, immensed us in local history and background of the area and the restaurants etc where we visited. Including a back alley,
The food - an eclectic variety, so delicious I returned the following day to two locations for lunch, dinner and the patisserie ou-la-la was directly from France!

Andy is super knowledgeable about local food, culture, and history! The food selection was tasty and well-balanced, and Andy is a compelling guide. We took our two little kids on the tour, and even they enjoyed themselves! Highly recommend for foodies and families alike!

My wife and I had never done a food tour like this before while on vacation and decided to give it a shot even though we weren't too sure it was necessarily our thing. It was great! Andy is awesome at what he does and is very knowledgeable about the local food and history, giving you little tidbits of info about both along the way. It was great to get to try some little hole in the wall type places we would most likely miss otherwise. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Victoria!

A Taste of Victoria Food Tour with Andy (the owner) was a highlight of our day. We had 6 excellent food tastes that I would have never got to try without going on this tour. Andy was friendly, knowledgable, accommodating. We left very full and loving Victoria even more than we did before the tour. We loved that Andy lives in the area and took us to local places that love food, love making a fresh, remarkable product, and love to share it with others.

Andy said he grew up locally so he had inside knowledge of the food/stories of Chinatown and downtown Victoria area. We loved the range of foods/drinks/dessert we tasted as we walked along. He accommodated lactose free and vegetarian folks. You won't need much dinner after taking this informative tour. Highly recommend this tour.

Outstanding tour. Andy’s excitement to share this experience is truly contagious, makes for a great afternoon. The tour was a substantial amount of a variety of foods, with plenty of sitting over the 2 hrs. Great to learn lots of strange history about Victoria as well!

Andy’s a great tour host and a really awesome guy. He makes it feel like you were just walking thru Victoria with a fun, long time friend. He pays attention to the little details and ensures support of local businesses. Highly recommend.
