I had high hopes going here, everything seemed good on paper.
I was looking at a Rav 4 2003, that has a rebuilt status. We negotiated a decent price and then I asked to see receipts for the rebuild and that's when things went south. They could not provide any receipts and were quite rude about it, there is no way you don't have receipts for a rebuild that you paid for, I even said you can hide the prices, I just want to see the scope of work that was done. "I don't ask for receipts and I am not going to look for them", he didn't even know who had done the work until I showed him on his own paperwork who it was, he then said they would not entertain any questions about the rebuild. (very suspicious.) This is a ridiculous statement. Beware buying any used vehicle that claims it has had work done, especially for a rebuild without receipts, that is absolutely dishonest

They had a car that I had been looking for for several years, and I was willing to purchase it site unseen without test, driving it as I am in Alberta. I called to speak with a sales person to ask a few questions, one was to send me a video of the car, starting, and a video of the exterior, because I wasn’t able to get there in person. The other question I asked was how they would recommend shipping the vehicle from BC to Alberta. I would had every intention of paying full price and closing the deal today. I spoke with a sales person by the name of “Michael” but I’m not sure if that’s his real name. He was extremely rude and said that he could not send a video and I got yelled at about needing to get a third-party to ship the vehicle. That wouldn’t have been a problem for me, but I don’t understand why he got so upset, I asked for a manager and he told me the manager didn’t have time to talk to me. He also talked to somebody else he was working with in the background about me in a very derogatory way. I’m so disappointed as I was looking to buy this car stay away from this dealership they are rude, not accommodating and lie to you. The sales person also told me that he’s just doing his job, except he was the only thing standing in the way from closing the deal. The search continues.: (

Told me price if the car I was interested in was negotiable when I arrived the told me it was a firm price. Not only that the sales person insulted us were rude and failed to provide adequate customer service. Hence the 1 star rating. People who do not meet their promises are risky people to do business with.

This business writes their own 5 star reviews the office smells bad I had a horrible experience with these used car salesmen. The boss said no way can he let my mechanic look at the car, because people steal parts. Lol

I bought a Toyota RAV4 at AA Quality Imports about a month and a half ago. I dealt with Larry.
I have never been so well taken care of at a dealership before. Larry went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my purchase.

Professional reliable staff. Everything is clearly communicated, and there are no hidden costs to surprise you. I bought a 2003 Toyota Corolla from this place. The car was inspected and any issue was fixed before it was sold to me.

I never got his name but Asian sales associate was setting me up for a test drive, very nice and professional. Then another comes into the conversation was blatantly rude and aggressive, which led me to walk out. I do not recommend coming here ever.

Best place to buy a car! Never had such a great experience buying a car in my many years of buying cars, quick approval, great deal and best of all awesome selection compared to others!

Happy with the deal I scored with my Mazda in this crazy market nowadays. And I like Larry and Rene’s straightforward, no frills service. I read a lot of the reviews before I went there and after having been there, I can only guess the bad reviews come from people who are too used to very courteous salesmen from big dealerships or just don’t understand how to negotiate fairly with people. The reality is the used car market is very hard to navigate these days especially with a short supply of cars. Every manufacturer has a backlog and more and more people turn to used cars. Come to the lot and see their vehicles and you will realize they are good deals within this market. Also, things like in house staff such as service folks and finance folks that big dealers have all get paid for and the dealerships operational cost is added to the price of your vehicle. I was happy to circumvent a lot of that with these people and got my vehicle and a good finance plan. It might not be the fastest “one day approval” that other dealers provided but I did save a whole lot of money. These are just good people playing fair in a tough business. Come here to get the most of your pocket.

Owner very straight forward, I like the no negotiating, found the car i like than pay, it just so simple. They also get me approved in an hour. Got home with the new car same day.

Saw a car that I had thinking about owning for a while. Thought the vehicle was overpriced (not a big deal at first, was willing to discuss). Told the sales guy the car I had and was potentially willing to trade. After that, he sounded excited but shoed me away from the car I was looking at and pushed me towards a cheaper base model of the car I was looking at. He then disappeared while I stood around waiting for 10-15 minutes to talk about their overpriced car before just leaving. Spend your time elsewhere.

Terrible customer service from general manager
I called them to get some assistance with documents on a car I purchased from them
General manager informed me that he will not help me and I'm on my own. Then I ask to talk to the owner, his respond was (owner does not talk to customers) and he hung up on me.
All he would have to do is spend maybe 5 minutes of his precious time to open filing cabinet and send me by fax or email copy of the bill of sale

I was recommended to go to AA Quality imports by a friend who had an incredibly easy experience there and bought a beautiful car. After going there I was shocked to see how many poor reviews because my experience was seamless. Between me and my husband we had a lot of questions, but they were met with patience and easy to understand information (mostly for me haha) it was pretty straight forward and the hardest part was just deciding if now was the best time to buy since we were also in the process of moving. I didn’t feel pressured or feel silly for needing an extra couple days to decide. We love our new SUV and wanted to say thank you to Larry for all his patience and hard work in finding the perfect fit for our family!

Rude, lying and dishonest people.
They do NOT respect the Customer at all.
Please stay away from this guys as they are rude, they are lying about everything (kilometers, carfax reports, status of the vecihles etc.).

I wish I could give negative stars. As you guys can see most of the people are saying these people are very dishonest and always lying to their customers. Super rude and no sense of talking to their customers.

Had full intentions on buying one of the vehicles this dealership had listed online. Arrived and after expressing interest in the vehicle were told we were not allowed to take the vehicle to a mechanic to have it looked at because of "bad experiences" they've had. (They would not disclose what bad experience) Instead, we were told we could hire a mechanic to come to an inspection at the dealership. We were interested in the vehicle so we did call a couple of mechanics to essentially stated they could not do that in good faith, as a dealership that does not allow their customers to have their vehicles inspected should be avoided.

What AA quality import doesn't seem to understand is that honesty, openness and full discretion with their customers will create more business and sales for them instead of deceitfullness. Customers want to feel like they can trust their car salesman, and that is all. The dealer and the customer can both walk away happy, but there needs to be honesty. Go take a look at the reviews of Country Auto sales in Kamloops. We ended up driving all the way up there from Vancouver, and purchased our truck within a few hours. A good dealership with honest sales staff is worth the drive. I'd encourage AA quality to adjust their approach to business in order to become more profitable and successful.

I really enjoy my shopping experience for my 2018 Q5 in AA quality. The sales person help me a lot. They are expert in the field and teach me a lot of car knowledge. I am buying a 7 seat van as soon as my baby born and i will definitely purchase from them again. Thanks!

BUYER BEWARE: You claim to have said that I can take it to a facility near you (which is a lie because you never said that). The nearest Toyota dealership is 2.2KM away from your lot, is that nearby enough for you? And yes, I prefer to get my car inspected at a Toyota service shop since they specialize in hybrid cars instead of going to a generic auto repair shop.

So please point out an auto mechanic that's closer than 2.2KM to your lot, or do you propose your buyers to go to the Auto Centre that's conveniently next door to your shop?

I texted Larry/Rene to see I can get the car inspected before purchasing it at a TOYOTA dealership (I even told them that I will prepay and they could drop it off themselves), the said no.

If you look at other reviews (from Joe Critique 2 years ago), it sounds like they won''t even let you test drive the vehicle unless you buy the vehicle.

So let's get this straight.no inspections and no test driving until you commit to buy. Plus terrible reviews from the past 3-4 years they've been operating.

To add a cherry on top, look at their responses to all other reviews, they either say it's fake or from a 'competitor'. This should give you a sign of things to come if you purchase a car from this dealership and something bad comes up.

I'm glad I didn't waste my time driving to this dealership and I saw other people's reviews.

Larry was very rude and dismissive. Didn't want to answer any questions and wasn't realistic. Please avoid this place especially if you have to deal with Larry.

Very good experience. Just need a car to drive around but couldn't afford much. Sales is very nice and recommend a decent car to us. Treated us genuinely and respectfully even though we just wanna buy 2k-3k car. Car works fine so far and my family loves it. Totally beyond our expectation.

Just bought a RAV4 from this dealership. Excellent service and the owner was so friendly and nice. We couldn't really figure out what we want in the beginning, and the owner walked us through the pros and cons of each model and helped us find a car that best fit our need. Really appreciated and will definitely recommend him to my family and friends.

Bought a car from. I got a good deal on it. Everything on the car worked and it was in really good condition even thought it was 10 years old and had 260 000 km on it. For the people complaining about cars breaking down that they purchased from here. It's up to you to do your homework and get the car inspected. Sales guy was great. They gave me deal on extended warranty and I had a good time haggling the price. Great experience. Would definitely buy a car from them again.

I recently purchased a high mileage 2014 VW Beetle TDI from Rene. We came to a price based on some future work I felt it would need and I drove away satisfied. Two days later the engine light came on and my heart sank. My mechanic checked it out and found a potential major problem and a second less serious problem. I contacted Rene and he and the boss right away assured me not to worry and they would "take care of it. ". That is exactly what they did! They covered the larger repair completely and offered a very fair cost sharing on the other minor repair.

They are there to make a profit. I would expect nothing less. I can assure you from my first hand experience that they care about their customers and their reputation.

Buying a used car always has potential risk and you have to do your homework. It is my strong opinion that I got a better car, at a better price and received better service from this sales team than from any other dealer in my long car buying history.

I hope to be driving this car for a long time but I would not hesitate to buy from them in the future or to recommend them to anyone.
