The teaching route prepared me well for the actual test and the affordable price for sessions in the exorbitantly expensive driving school market, really helps. He can be tough on you but that helps imbed good driving habits.

10/10 driving school! Peter was amazing. I had zero driving skills when I started with him, never really thought I would pass the test on my first attempt. Thank you for your encouragement, patience and support. I would definitely recommend ABC driving school to everyone.

Peter is an amazing teacher, with immense knowledge on the entirety of the driving experience. Not only will you pass your road test, you will be prepared with skills that will make you a better driver for the rest of your life. I had no car of my own to practice with outside of the lessons. Solely through the lessons and Peter's guidance, I was fully prepared, confident, and passed the road test!

There was no chance I was passing before I took these lessons, only 4 one hour lessons and I passed first try, great company great price I completely recommend!

Peter is a very good driving instructor, he’s strict but I passed my N on the first try because I listened to him.

Peter was the best teacher! He trained me well on each of my classes and I passed my class 5 driving test with ease as he gave the correct instructions and answered all my questions and taught me all the rules and regulations to abide by as per the ICBC standards. I would recommend peter over anyone else to teach someone how to drive. I had practiced very little after i got my L and after a week of driving with peter i passed my N first try. He is the very best and i could not recommend him enough. He has a new 2020 civic for people to learn in. Hes very funny but also sturn when he needs to be, if i could rate him any higher then 5 stars i would. Overall a perfect experience for learning.

I have never met such a thorough and brilliant instructor! Peter encouraged me to go on a driving lesson with my son and I am sooo glad I went! He is very patient, kind and knowledgeable man, a teaching Instructor's Encyclopedia! Great refresher couse for me. Peter gives excellent instructions and is so great at building ones confidence. My son needed that after 3 failed road tests during the 2 years of pandemic. He got his license yesterday. The best decision we made was taking drving lessons with Peter. Only wish we knew of him earlier! My daughter is going to have lessons with Peter as well. The absolute best instructor! Just read a review regarding his thick accent.he doesn't have a thick accent, though he has one as do many Canadians (we are a melting pot). Beleive me Peter is magic, I have failed 3 times earlier then joined this school and I passed, he is concerned that his students pass the test for first time only. He is very punctual, an expert and knows simple techniques so that anybody can get confidence.
Just beleive him as he is more experienced and knows far more better than us. If he is harsh, listen and learn. I guarantee anyone who obeys him will never fail in his life in driving as he is concerned on safe driving.

Peter is a fantastic and hard working. He provided me with a confidence in my driving and really helped me understand the rules of the road. I highly recommend whoever needs lessons, to contact ABC Driving School, and I recommend taking a lesson just before your road test as well. It really helped me to ready for my next day test. He taught me every rules and regulation in details which gives me clear understanding about safe driving.

He is the most sorry excuse for a teacher I have ever seen. Everyone I’ve ever asked, has given me bad information about him.this is the Second lesson now where he drops me off while I’m hysterically crying because of his delusions. He will tell you to do something and then get mad at you for doing it. He will tell you to do what he does and then do it wrong. Ex- he told me to watch how he shoulder checks for an example and when I did the exact same thing he did he screamed at me and said only he can do that because he is the professional. When I proceeded to try and ask questions because I was confused he continued yelling at me told me I was fighting with him told me I was cheeky and had attitude but was clearly confused by his horrible teaching. I don’t know who taught him how to teach or instruct, if anyone did at all, but I highly recommend going somewhere else the wait is worth having ANYBODY else

I went from maybe an hour of driving experience to passing my road test first try without any demerits in only 9 lessons. Peter's teaching, while harsh, was exactly what I needed to turn me into a confident driver and push me to get my road test scheduled and done.

Peter was a great teacher, sometimes things would get abit stressful but he definitely taught me how to drive properly since i passed my N test first try! Thank you Peter.

Peter helped me develop habits that helped me to follow all the rules of the road, and he also made sure I understood why they were in place. He left me with a complete understanding of what is is to be a safe driver. He can be intimidating at first because he is somewhat abrupt with his instructions and corrections, but i never felt like he was trying to make me feel bad. I think his firm and clear instructions helped me develop a clear understanding of what is expected of a driver taking their road test. I passed no problem after taking lessons with Peter, and the instructor I took my test with even made a comment about how I must have taken lessons with a good instructor.

Peter surprised me with his superb knowledge of the road and the road test regulations. I had taken the road test twice before getting lessons and failed both times on the same few things. After having Peter as an instructor, I became a much more confident driver and felt much safer on the road. I passed the road test right away after only three lessons with Peter. He taught me more than I thought there was to know and I am very grateful.:)

Peter is an incredible teacher and such a lovely person! I passed my N test first try after taking ten lessons with him. He had every lesson planned out and made everything so easy to understand. Not only does he teach you what’s on the test, but he teaches you MORE so that you are fully prepared for anything they could be looking for. Peter left my daughter feeling overwhelmed. He is stressful and hard to communicate with. Also please beware of his refund policy before paying.

Update after Peter's response. I hired this man to teach my daughter and he yelled at her and made her more confused than she was to start with. He was unprofessional with me when I called him afterwards as well. My daughter is fully capable of telling me how things went. She has not, nor have I, claimed that she drove perfect. He was supposed to help, instruct and teach her. He did not treat her with respect and did not help her with her driving skills. I will not be bullied into removing this review even though he felt the need to personally name my daughter and list every mistake that may have been made.

Our new driver took 5 lessons with Peter and passed his road test first try with positive feedback from the examiner. The examiner commented that it was obvious he had lessons and was the safest driver he'd seen in the last couple weeks. Thank you Peter!

Worst driver instructor ever! Very rude, and not professional. He always yells and very impatient and racist. Grabs the wheel from me. He’s terrible. Definitely not recommend!

I took 8 lessons with Peter and he has a ton of useful knowledge. I became comfortable behind the wheel after the first couple lessons with him. Peter makes sure you’re ready for your N test, giving you as many tips as possible. He knows the rules of the road off the top of his head which is great for learning. I passed my N test first try after having Peter as my teacher.

Super happy with Peter and his drivers ed service. Our 16yr old daughter took lessons with Peter and passed her driver’s test this past Monday on her first try. Peter does a great job in preparing you for the road test, he's straight to the point and teaches everything we need to know to be well prepared.

Although Peter is firm, I don’t think I would’ve passed on my first try without him. I don’t live in Vernon, and was stressed to take my test there. In one lesson, Peter showed me all the areas other students have trouble with and where I needed to be extra cautious. Thank you!

Peter is the best driving instructor hands down. I went from not knowing much about driving to having so many skills in just 10 lessons. Peters teaching methods are the absolute best. He also points out areas that you need to work on. I highly reccomend his services. Because of his awesome teachings I passed on my first try and received my N. I hate to give bad reviews but this was incredibly bad. I feel bad for him as many people don't understand but his language is unforgivable and his criticism is unprofessional. Peter repeatedly slammed the brakes for slight mistakes and nearly caused an accident, good things its not my car. I asked to work on certain things but that was unacceptable from his perspective so didn't get to do that.also he seems to be criticizing everyone who leaves a bad review and can't accept his own actions. Also very unprofessional to disclose your clients names in the reviews. I think his actions on this review site explain pretty well.
