Absolute Spa at River Rock Casino Resort

Had a 60 min massage.was not happy. My 8 yr old gives a better massage. Facial was awful! Had better facials when I was in in school for cosmetology. Will never go back, or waste my money there

My husband and i had the couples massage, it was the best massage ive ever had.the staff were amazing, very professional and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable.i just want to thank all of them for making our weekend stay, that much more enjoyable.

May is a very good provider for different services from facials to massages etc. The new hydra facial is very effective and very good treatment

Absolute Spa was AMAZING. We had a bridal celebration there and they treated us like absolute queens! My massage was unforgettable and I will never forget our wonderful celebration. I will definitely be back.

We went to the absolute spa with 12 other ladies for a special occasion and we had the most memorable experience! The massage was excellent, we had our own bathrobes, and we were given VIP treatment. I recommend coming here for your next special event!

This is the best spa Period. Their staff is professional. They took the time to understand my back conditions and where I prefer to receive and not receive treatment. The place is impeccably clean, warm, and inviting. I haven’t gotten the same attention that I got here ever since.

Highly recommend Absolute Spa. Have enjoyed massage treatments a few times and friends had mani pedis. Not inexpensive but purely indulgent.
Small lounge area for relaxing with tea/water before or after treatments. Never rushed. Staff and masseuse are excellent, options given for male or female. Couples room available.
Champagne offered for special occasions when mentioned at booking.
Would give 5 star if bathroom was cleaner.
Products are recommended after treatments but no pressure to purchase.
Located in River Rock Casino makes this a great location to spend a few hours with restaurants/casino in one building.
Free parking on 2nd level of attached parking garage on west side of building.

Worst experience! My husband and I never do anything for ourselves and finally decided to book some massages and put our kids in care. We arrived early to use the hottub which was dirty and the jets didnt work. Then we proceeded to the relaxation lounge to wait for our apt. There wasnt much to it, music was so low you could barely hear it and you could hardly smell the essential oils, really nothing to relaxing about it. Just 5 minute before our apt they come and tell us that the masseuse has called in so they cannot accommodate us both getting massages! Wasted our entire morning! Never again!

I would like to edit this review to say, after the manager from absolute spa read my review i was contacted the next day. She apologized for the experience i had at this spa and offered a gift certificate for the amount of the pedicure I paid for. Very professional very polite and doing the right thing to try and correct what was a very uncomfortable experience for me. I realize the management cant control the people they have employed and i respect and appreciate the gesture. I used the gift certificate to buy some on line products and i am currently waiting for them to arrive. It is always nice to see and hear that business are willing to do better and for this reason i will try yheir spa again in the future.

I had the most expensive pedicure here. It was meant to be 75 minutes and i was barely there 60 minutes. The experience was not relaxing the girl was tryong so hard to push me to buy products. She actually followed me into the washroom and started rubbing oil on my face and neck. Then followed me out to the counter and started piling up products in front of me to buy. I had to be almost rude to get her to leave me alone. It was very awkward i didnt appreciate or like this experience. I would not recommend this place to visit if you are looking to relax it isnt the place to go.

I was very disappointed with my massage here, when booking over the phone I requested the "90 min Aromatherapy Associates Signature Massage" costing $180 before tax I expected this to be a very good service considering it is around $50 more expensive than other Spa's I have visited.

My therapist did not seem well trained and was unconfident, she had shaky hands when attempting to applying pressure, it was not relaxing in the slightest. I just couldn't wait for it to end.

My massage table was crammed into a room with a hydrotherapy bath and the door couldn't shut, the table had to be readjusted to close the door and after that there was no room for her to work around the table.

I usually get 4-6 massages a year and this was the worst experience I have ever had. I don't feel relaxed at all after this service and am out of pocket just under $200.
