Aburiya Sushi

Love the sushi and service, prices are a little on the higher side. Recommend the west coast roll or the spicy magic!

For vegans, please note that the house soy sauce has fish flakes in it. Our server was nice enough to let us know ahead of time. The spicy veggie gyoza was the best gyoza we’ve ever had. You have to pay 1.50 to make it spicy, but it’s worth it. The avocado roll always comes with perfectly ripe avocados and never falls apart. The noodles were okay - they only had cabbage and the sparse red pepper as veggies. More veggies would be amazing. The server was very thoughtful for bringing more ginger and refilling our waters regularly. They put a lot of care into the food they make and it was decorated for Christmas inside.

This place has parking spots in the back (a lot) which is very convenient. Also, thanks so much for the complimentary chocolate

It's not surprising that I'll be visiting aburiya sushi restaurant again. They are always served fresh fish and delicious rolls. I recommend it to all Maple Ridge residents!:)

Outstanding service and the tuna and sushi it the best in town you have to eat here and order the toro Nigiri you won't regret it!

Came in for a birthday celebration.food was excellent! Everything we ordered came out quickly, Ramen was super hot, rolls were very fresh, tempura and gyoza light and crunchy.
Service was slow after food arrived, waitress seemed more concerned cleaning the men's washroom- which we unfortunately had a front row seat to, yet she seemed to ignore all the empty plates and we had finished. We finally were able to ask for our bill and within seconds the bill was handed to us immediately followed by the debit machine.

Will definitely return for the wonderful food, maybe take out next time

This review is long time overdue as we ate here February 14. It was our first time and my husband wanted to try this restaurant.
We were greeted warmly by the staff who were busy prepping food orders.
A few moments after taking our orders we were served with a complimentary barbie roll! My son loved it and he almost finished everything! We ordered the cheese katsu which has Huge portion that we have to take out some, prawn tempura roll which was satisfying, calamares which is chewy and delish and Ramen for my husband. He was a bit disappointed as he was expecting an authentic one but it's all good.

As we walk out Aburiya, we are again greeted and thanked by everyone even the chef! Thanks for the experience!

I’ve been a regular Aburiya customer for many years, and the quality of the food and service has always been amazing. The Sashimi/Oshi Combo is outstanding (although they keep raising the price). I can say without hesitation, it is the best Sushi restaurant I’ve dined at, and I’ve dined at many. You won’t be disappointed!

Fast, friendly service. The fish was fresh. The rolls were much larger than expected with lots of fish in them. Great experience.

Order was fulfilled quickly after ordering. Satisfying sushi, definitely will order again from here. Especially since it close to work.

Sadly, sushi is just super expensive, now. Basically anywhere you go. This place has the best sushi in maple ridge, surrey or coquitlam. I always regret getting sushi anywhere else.

Aburiya Has always been the best sushi in Maple Ridge. As well they have the best service, During the ice storm Maple Ridge had in December I thought I could make it out and pick up our order but the ice had me stuck they ended up delivering to me past the time their store was open. They really do care about their customers. As well last night we picked up another order and they also included a complimentary new Pork Katsu Burger (sandwich). It was so good I will order everytime now!

Such a nice atmosphere! Took the kids (ages 3-5) and was blown away by the service and quality. Our servers were ON IT! Complementary appy to boot! Prices are fair for what you receive. WE WILL BE BACK! Thank you Aburiya Sushi!:)

The food was great! The best Japanese of many I have tried in the past 6 months. The atmosphere is ok, not anything fancy by any means. Everything we ordered was presented very nicely and tasted amazing! We will be back!

Delicious. Chefs take great pride in their work and the team always goes above and beyond for their guests. Not my first time but will not be my last. The presentation is lovely. Just lovely.

Food is great here only down side, ordered my food at 4pm for pickup at 7pm but wasn't ready until 8pm maybe need a bigger kitchen or stop taking orders when it's super busy

Went here for dinner and unfortunately this place isnt good. It has the ambiance you could say but the sushi is tasteless. The wild salmon and even the most expensive fish were just basic. It is way overpriced and not the quality/flavor you'd expect. We had a 130$ dinner for two and liked 1 roll out of the entire meal. Not worth the money! I eat a lot of sushi at different places so this is not a noob review.

Very friendly staff food is amazing fresh we have never had a bad experience since we started coming Here after we moved from Vancouver. Sushi is better then most Vancouver restaurants!

We dined in to celebrate an occasion with our friends and we had a great experience at this restaurant! The food was presented beautifully and tasted very good. The servers treated us very kindly and were nice to talk to.

Definitely one of the best Japanese restaurants I have been to and will come to eat again!
