Accent Inns

There is nothing negative to report and nothing exceptional to mention. Very run of the mill hotel chain that operates and looks the same everywhere. I will add that there was no password needed to connect to Accent's internet. Anyone close to the hotel can log in, resulting in a very slow or dropped connection.

Doors to the rooms are outside, so that didn't make me feel safe. But overall for the price this hotel is a solid choice. I saw branded bikes in front of the lobby, I wonder if they are complimentary. There's a Starbucks in the same parking lot which was handy. Room was very clean.

We just returned from a driving holiday and stayed at a lot of hotels. This Accent Inn in Kelowna definitely stood out. The room was clean & large, the beds were comfortable, the pillows were nice, the staff were happy and friendly. The room had an actual coffee maker with real mugs! Plus there was a coffee machine in the lobby that made delicious lattés and more. They also had a water dispenser in the lobby which was appreciated when we hit the road with full water bottles. These seem like simple things but made all the difference to us. The price was reasonable too.
There was construction happening right next door but we left the A/C fan on full time and it didn't disturb us.
We will search out Accent Inns next time we travel. They've earned new fans. PS.we love our new rubber ducky!

We got one of the newly renovated rooms and they are incredible! It is close to a lot of shopping and restaurants as well as central for race locations (as I often come here for trail races.) The staff are quick with any requests or questions you have. Very willing to do late checkouts so you can shower after a race!

We came all the way from Vancouver to have some fun time at the long weekend We chose accent inns for our stay as it is pretty close to all sight seeings. We were pretty disappointed at our arrival to this location as the service at the front desk was horrible. The words used to address their guests were not appropriate. The girl at the front desk used words like “kicked out” when there are 1000’s of other ways to let their guests know about the rules. Honestly we felt like leaving right away. We definitely respect their rules but we are also paying some amount of money to stay here. Please do a better job at training your employees with some kind words. It’s doesn’t cost you extra to be kind and respectful to each and every guest. I won’t recommend this hotel to anyone unless you are ready for the arrogance served at the front desk.

I went to kelowna for a medical appointment at the hospital. I'm a cardiac patient. Never been there before. They wouldn't let me give a cash deposit. And the desk clerks kicked us out to the streets. Wouldn't give us wifi password for a taxi. I would NEVER go there again. Rooms are dirty. Very rude and unsympathetic to our unique situation. Worst customer service

Always stay here when in Kelowna and I am here every 3 months. On site laundry room. Friendly staff, good selection of restaurants in the area.

Love this chain of hotels! Pet friendly, gave dog new bandana, treats, &poop bag! Iam collecting the ducks, have 4 now

Good location, horrible service kept getting asked to show my ID each time I step foot on property from security, after multiple times of this I'm fed up, one time would be okay but after a few times it is unacceptable and uncomfortable would not be staying here again. But the location is great everything is a few minute drive away or less and like a 5 to 20 minute walk depending on where you want to go. Rooms are a bit small especially bathrooms and can hear upstairs people stomping but other wise it's ok, sheets are a little unclean but mostly clean.

The room was comfortable and clean. The front staff was very friendly and competent. I will be staying here when I am back in Kelowna next week.

We stayed Sept 26th-29th. Had a fantastic stay. Staff was wonderful and room was comfy & clean. Looking forward to my next stay next year. Best stay & service I've experienced in Kelowna yet.

Love the rubber ducky giving to each guests. Nice and close to everything & elevator has a lovely view of the waterfront areas in Kelowna.
At night has beautiful blue lights.

Special just a basic hotel room. Ricky's in the same lot is from what I have been told a pretty good place to eat and fat burger right across the street is awesome. The hotel offers a very nice pool as well as other amenities like bike rentals and the like.

We rented 2 rooms for our big family on the 1st and 2nd floor. The 1st floor had hard floors. The second room had carpet. I prefer no carpet.
The pillows are the best pillows ever!
We had a small kitchen, which was perfect. And the toilet amd shower are separated with a door. One room had a big TV while the other had a small TV. Over all it was like a mini apartment with everything you need, including desk.
If you are a light sleeper, then you may want to know the air conditioners were noisy. I kept waking up to them. I could also hear all the noise and water turning on and off up stairs at 4am. The couch beds were uncomfortable. But it was only 1 night.

The service desk girls were very helpful, rooms were spacious and comfortable, very clean. I will be coming over to the Accent Inn again.

Good basic motel. Got moved after an incident with the toilet but staff was friendly and helpful. Dog friendly environment with a little dog area off to the side. Dog area could use a water tap but was a nice amenity. Didn’t use the pool, and no breakfast available. But overall a good experience

It was my base of operations while driving patients to the Kelowna Cancer Clinic from the North Okanagan.

We are seniors with disablitlies and a dog. Our needs were met with happiness and joy especially when they met our labrador. Some were a little cautious with her but I made her hold back until she had permission to approach. To others bringing pets be sure your pets understand to hold back until they have permission to approach especially dogs. Our bed was perfecty it was large size, our dog could sleep between us and we weren't crowded. It was like sleeping on a cloud. Woke up with no sore back.

Would have rated higher except for an issue with check in. Provided my government issued ID as requested. It's my birthday so I have a temp licence and desk clerk refused to accept it. I stay in multiple hotels a month and never has picture of been required. She accepted my Costco card as Id. Nice hotel good rooms would stay again.

I have stayed in these hotels in other cities and have been very happy with the service and the quality of their rooms this one particular was very clean the beds were super comfortable and the staff have been super helpful and very friendly and polite great location as well we do moving all across Canada and spend a lot of time in hotels in this one was one of the best experiences great service great Hotel gorilla moving company if you're looking for a moving company

There were a lot of short and long hair when I pulled the quilt. That could not possibly say they changed the sheets. Then I called to lobby and told the reception. When I told her about that she did not say anything. I said "hello? " She said rudely and bluntly "I am listening"

When we went to the lobby she looks so so rude. Her face is so rude. When I ask that I want to change the room that was cleaned
And she said "cause I am not doing clean"

I love this place anyway - the ducks, the cool signage and the overall experience (elevator balloon ride!) has always been good. Today the staff went above and beyond when we had to stay a couple extra days due to a family loss. They were quick to accomodate and even offered a special breakfast (not normally offered) to assuage our grief. It was greatly appreciated

We spent 7 nights in a suite with a separate bedroom and kitchenette. The rooms were clean and bright. We appreciated the extras…unlimited soap, shampoo and conditioner. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating. We asked for extra coffee and tea and received them within minutes. The Inn is within minutes to several amenities such as restaurants, coffee shops, grocery store and bowling! Checking in and out was quick and seamless. Definitely recommend staying at Accent Inn! PS Love the rubber ducky!

I will not go back because they refused to take our legal tender CASH due to invalid reason: COVID

Allowed my pet,! Room was very clean and quiet. From a short stay, that turned into a very long stay! Service was great 247 need any thing just dial 0 ask and it was done. Wonderful staff from office, house keeping, laundry, mantises. A wonderful, hotel And a wonderful stay! 10/10

I can't believe they did not accept cash, even with credit card and drivers licence. What has this world come to be.

was very comfortable and clean it doesnt have a restaurant in the hotel but there is a Ricky`s restaurant close by and what I ordered was good and a pizza place called Papa Murphys I didn't try Papa Murphy's but it was a very busy place and also a there is a mall not 5 minutes from the hotel. I stayed in the motel part so I was able to cook something if I wanted and buy whatever I needed to cook the meal from the grocery store in the mall.

We’ve stayed here 6 times now when going to hospital for treatments and get a medical rate which is very helpful! The cost is good for the value. The staff are awesome! Clean rooms with everything we need. Pet friendly! Only complaint is the mattress- after 3 nights my hips were so sore I was happy to be Back in my own bed!

Great crew here, Dre and Bianca are Allstars, felt more like a bnb then a hotel, everyone was super nice and helpful checker out next time your in the valley

Decided to stay here for a night, It was the best decision we made.first off when we arrived in the lobby we were greeted by super friendly staff that actually felt like they wanted to help us.she took interest in my trip and my family they also offered us a free ducky!
The rooms were spot free clean with tidy bed and it smelled super clean even the tv remote was in packaging.the pool is an out door pool which we were scared about but it felt heated so we had an hour swim booked with just our family we even took Kris Jr (the duck) swimming.
10/10 would recommend. The hotel itself is super quirky with awesome signage around and the antigravity lift with a beautiful view (if you know you know). Thanks for the stay!

We stayed one night in this hotel. Just 2 hour before our check out 2 guys wanted to come inside the room to checked the smoke alarm by covid
I do not underestand. And i called to front desk to tell them, she said yes thats just quick and normal

We want to stayed another 2 night in this hotel but we decided to change the hotel cause the covid in this hotel is not observed.

Canceled booking and still got charged for whole stay on my card. Called the place to try and figure out a resolution even offered to pay a cancellation fee, however they still took a whole night from my card, no refund. Don’t recommend, also manager is a cow

It's rare when you get to truly enjoy yourself and educate a child at the very end of a taxing road trip. All in the trip was great, but when you run into people truly happy doing their job as were the ladies at Accent when he arrived, that happy becomes contagious. Knowing a young fella was coming, we had duckies in the room, we had an "inn-dependent" beer to finish off my evening, and I also got to teach my son what a gimmick was. He learned that some are dodgy, but that some like Accent's duckies and quirky humor can truly add to a positive experience. Our trip in their 'flight simulator/Anti Gravity device' while staying "30 some duckies apart" for covid, would normally be a boring one floor ride in an elevator, but not at Accent. A place that adds fun to the normally monotonous and same old. Thanks Accent! Sincerely.

As we'd been traveling with our 2 shepherds we were very happy with the hotels we'd stayed at and the Accent Inn Kelowna was our last stop and our stay there was awesome. The front desk staff were helpful in getting us the right room for us (which they did) and the room itself was clean, the beds comfortable and even with covid, we were always supplied with fresh linen and our garbage removed promptly. Being able to bring your dogs with you when you travel is good and finding a hotel like the Accent Inn that welcomes all of you is that much better.well that and a Starbucks that opens at 5am, 100 feet away from you always helps too!

A 5 star "three star hotel" experience! Super friendly staff, cleanly and comfy rooms. Outdoor access rooms so some road noise but overall a great place at a decent price!

Have stayed here before. Very friendly staff, nice rooms. Was quite suprised to find a spray bottle left in the room last time I was there.

I give it COVID approval, and points for personality! I had to check a room as I was travelling with someone who needed accessible options, and once sanitized, if you enter a room, they have to sanitize again. So they were very careful. The hotel even said no cleaning would happen during our stay, but anything extra needed could be delivered (such as towels or tea/coffee). A bagged breakfast was left at our door each morning for every guest. The room itself was a little outdated, but there was 24/7 friendly security on site (MUCH better than what we had come from), and the outdoor pool was warm and quiet. I very much appreciated all of the signage I passed on the stairs or in the elevator, or around certain corners. It's so nice to enjoy some humour-filled necessities!

I feel like it was overpriced. Total was 230.00 for one night. Two queen beds, nothing fancy Breakfast was in a bag due to covid, which was ok. Overall it was clean and comfortable.

I love the quirkyness of Accent Inns kelowna. Very playful place. The staff were great, the pool was nice if not a bit small. My daughter and I stayed 1 night, very close to both orchard park mall and downtown. The hotel offered free bikes (awesome!), so we rode downtown to the beach for some shopping and dinner, only a 10 minute bike ride on a quiet side street. Staff were very accommodating and rooms were just as photographed, very comfortable beds. Great stay!

We arrived at the hotel and were greeted wonderfully by the front desk agent.

As we entered the room we encountered some issues that made us quite upset. The manager Manny promptly fix the problem in the best way possible. They did not have any available rooms but they exceeded in excellent problem solving and friendly atitude.

The room's insulation is pretty bad. We couldn't get real sleep for two nights straight because we could hear people chatting loudly in the other room at 3 ams. We complained to the staffs but it seemed nobody cared.

Always have had a good stay and sleep with accents inn. It was clean, quiet, good price, and in a central area.

Not worth the price. I found this on Expedia because it's pet friendly. When. I checked in they asked me to pay for my dog on top of what I paid Expedia. The front desk person blamed Expedia for not posting about the additional fee. I don't know whose fault it is but this leave a bad taste in my mouth.

Clean, friendly and accommodating

We just stayed here with our baseball team for a tournament and while the neighbourhood is a bit dicey (lots of transients) the areas are kept clean. The 15-17 yo boys travelled in a group so they were safe. The transients don’t bother you. I just would be super vigilant about not leaving any valuables and making sure your doors are locked. They allowed us to have the common breakfast room for team meetings which was really nice of them

The staff a super friendly and accommodating for requests. The rooms were cleaned, just a little dark but that’s either a good thing if you like to sleep in but not good if you like a lot of natural sunlight during the day. Starbucks is across the parking lot. Staff there are great. Avoid the Rickys all day grill. I’ve put in a separate review but there’s a reason why it’s called Ricky’s all day grill-the service is so bad you’ll be there all day

We were really happy with our stay here! Very friendly staff, comfortable rooms and super clean! The location was perfect for us as we spent quite a bit of time downtown in the cultural district. Loved having the option of continental breakfast and the fitness room was handy as well! Recommend!

I wasn't allowed to ride the "free" bikes because "the sun was going to go down"

Nice place to stay and the fastest WiFi I have experienced in a hotel in BC! However a bit weird to be charged a $50 incident deposit, never had this before. It's nice that the breakfast is included but it can get a bit crowded in the room. Would love to see more fresh fruits, it's BC after all!

This hotel was very clean and the staff was very professional and friendly. Very well done continental breakfast. The bed was very comfortable. Felt safe and peaceful.

My husband was in a motorcycle accident and was transferred to Kelowna. The staff at the Accent Inn were so accommodating and helped to make a very stressful time, a lot more bearable. The room was very clean and the beds were sooooo comfortable. The housekeeping staff were exceptionally excellent and A housekeeper named Pinky left me a beautiful note. As this is a review, I will tell you that the location is very central with great shops in walking distance. The pool was also very clean and in great shape. I can’t say enough about the group of people at this location. Thanks you so much to Manny (the Asst Manager) and the whole staff. You guys rock!

Amazing Service, Clean and comfortable rooms. This hotel got me in last minute when I was turned away last minute from a different hotel that I had reserved two weeks prior. Respectful and accommodating. I definitely recommend staying at the Accent Inn

Nice hotel with breakfast. Bed is very comfortable. There are many channels available on the television. There are many funny messages trying to interact with the guests.
The bethroom is very small. Everything is very clean and in good conditions.
The location is also good. Close to many restaurants and fast foods. 1.4 km from the river.
I definitely would stay there again.
