Shannon Dodson is the best chiropractor. Her goal is to fix it so you don’t require ongoing treatment and with that goal in mind she delivers. I was seeing a chiropractor for years with a re-occurring neck issue and she fixed it within 2-3 visits and gave me things I could do myself to help myself which really worked and was so useful and time saving. She is amazing and really knows what she’s doing and is just an awesome human in general highly recommend her!

Sheena is an amazing RMT - been going to her for a few years now. She knows how to release my knots in my back and neck. Would highly recommend her.

This place is amazing. I got in same day.on a Sunday.which is near impossible. The receptionist was lovely (thank you), and my chiro Matthew Bryan was efficient and had a great bedside manner. Had a very successful adjustment, am on the mend, and hope to be normal in a couple days. You are appreciated!

Every time I walk into Achieve Health I receive a warm greeting from the person behind the desk. The atmosphere is calming, clean and very comfortable. Steve has been the BEST massage therapist. I have tried many other practitioners but have been coming back to him for over a year now. (And will continue to do so) He always asks where my problem areas are before he starts the treatment. He genuinely listens to my concerns and not only offers relief from the problematic areas, he explains what may be causing the issues. Usually I get a deep tissue massage but when I’m in a really bad state he eases up and always asks how I’m doing during the treatment. He is fantastic and I cannot recommend him enough. ️ ️️️️

I only get like 40 mins appointment and more than half of the time we just talking and chatting.

My husband and I have been seeing "Dr. Rich" as our chiropractor since he took over the practice from his friend and colleague, Jamie, who took it over from Dr. Elder. I came to see Rich this week to get a medical formed filled as I have seen him more than my GP and my GP had no record of the challenges I needed noted.
Rich is experienced, gentle and great at explaining 'what and why'. His dream of having a health team working together for the best interest of their clients has come to fruition at Achieve Health. I highly recommend his and his colleagues services.

Darelle made me very comfortable. It was my very first visit to see a RMT and she explained everything and what to expect. She also gave me tips and exercise to help my soreness. I will be back for sure.

Physiotherapy - Heric Lopes. Heric was among the best physiotherapists I've met with. He really knows his stuff but he does such an excellent job listening and then breaking down the mechanics in an understandable way. His recommendations for rehab/improvement are clear and concrete. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Heric to anyone.

Great reception, excellent service, friendly staff and practitioners, would definitely recommend and will be revisiting soon.

Attendant: Hello…. Do you have a mask
Me: No I don’t… do you have a mask?
Attendant: Yes, we have but we charge $2 per mask
Me: I don’t have $2 for a mask (not I will pay for that)
Attendant: well… we can not have your appointment today.
Me: Ok… I left.

Additional notes: I am triple vaccinated and I have no issue wearing a mask.

A mask cost $0.10 (if that) and you are charging $2, this person is not aware of the
BC Ministerial order M115 that establish….

Dr Richard fix my problem within his first session.last one year I went to many hospital and took lot of medication no result. Thanks Dr Richard god bless you. I visit his centre for my shoulder and leg pain and don’t get any idea to get rid of my problem.

Dr. Dodson is such a wonderful practitioner - she really takes time to get to know her patients and how they are doing. Shannon has taken great care to manage my expectations of recovery, give me homework that is realistic to my lifestyle and is a great listener when discussing the complexity of pain. I love Achieve Health because they're minutes from my house and offer great services in one place. The staff are awesome from reception to service providers. I was in a rough spot and they managed to fit me in on the same day I called, which helped me a lot, and I'll be back for continued treatment.

Simple to book, and able to perform most of the required intake online prior to my appointment. Direct billing of my insurance was a definite plus.

Shannon's care is top notch. She's extremely knowledgable and consistently provides a path towards establishing and maintaining long term health so that I don't have to see her anymore.

As she talked to me about my problem and treatment, I literally had tears of relief and hope. After all the chiropractors I've seen in thirty years, she has a different approach. I feel empowered and not broken!

I have just finished five physio treatments over nine weeks with Melissa Alterthum and I am thoroughly impressed with the results. Melissa took the time to really understand what the issue was and prescribed strength exercises targeting very specific muscle groups. Within one week, I started to notice an improvement. With each subsequent appointment, she was diligent in checking the mobility progress and reassigned new, more advanced exercises to further the flexibility and strength. On my last visit, she set me up with an ongoing strength program to maintain muscle balance which aligns well with my active lifestyle. Her knowledge and expertise has me back to my daily workouts and enjoying life!

I just had my first appointment with Physiotherapist Heric Lopez. Mr. Lopez is extremely knowledgeable in hid field and explained in details what my problem was. He gave me homework to do at home which I am looking forward to and I left feeling so much better than going in.
I would certainly recommend him to anyone who may require a physiotherapist in the future.

After injuring my back, I was feeling an excruciating pain which made breathing difficult and very painful, and it would not go away or lessen. My partner called Achieve Health and I got an appointment immediately with Dr. Shannon Dodson. I was a bit apprehensive to get treated while suffering that much pain but it decreased my affliction quickly: I could breathe again, felt some discomfort but it was nothing compared to what I felt before treatment. The next day, I had little pain and could resume normal activities again.
Plus, the front-desk staff was very pleasant and accommodating in spite of my irritability due to the intense distress I was in.

Feels like a cheap rent-a-room building, the Chiro person was nice and I wouldn’t not-recommend but not amazing, had massages with two different people and one was about a 3.5 star maybe and the other about a two. If you need someone quick they can prob fit you in.

I have been seaching 3 years for a massage therapist with thumbs of steel. Steve Roland is an absolute legend and pro at what he does. If you are an athelete looking for the best sports massage in town, this is your guy. I would pay double because you only need half the massages to get the progress needed. Thanks Steve!

I have been going to Achieve Health for years and have always had great service but most recently I have been seeing Tanya Alton for massage therapy and have to say that Tanya is AMAZING. She is nurturing, attentive and intuitive, really listens and HEARS you and then provides the most incredible massage.

Steve was amazing. He explained to me the reason for my neck and arm pain. Suggested some stretching techniques. The massage helped me get rid of the neck pain. Definitely recommended.

Dr Dodson is amazing, and the RMTs that I have seen have been very caring/listened to my concerns, and treated me appropriately. If I am there for another service, Dr Dodson always makes time to check in with me, which makes me feel very well cared for. I have also recently started seeing Kirby for some active care post-MVA and she has been amazing. Cannot recommend this clinic enough for their care and attention, not to mention helping me to navigate what is an extremely stressful process (dealing with ICBC). Keep up the amazing work!

Steve Roland Massage Therapist is the bee's knees! Hes fantastic at what he does and is very careful with his clients.

My experience with Achieve Health has been extremely positive, and it is NOT a stretch to say that it has been life changing. Six months of work with Fawn Whiting (physiotherapist) has changed my posture and muscle movements so much that my closest friends and family keep asking me why I'm so much taller all of a sudden.

Fawn really knows her stuff and identified the root cause of my back pain and how it influenced other mechanics in my body, then started to fix those root issues one by one with manual techniques, "nerve flossing" (this is a fun one), prescribed stretches and exercises for me to do at home, and a more. She constantly checked in with me and adjusted the program to suit my feedback, so I always felt that the treatment was suiting my needs, rather than being a slave to the treatment.

After six months, my back pain is negligible and I'm well on my way to better heath. I can't recommend Achieve enough; as far as I'm concerned you can't go wrong by giving them a call.

Tanya Alton is an amazing massage therapist and a very caring human being. She has literally kept me moving for the past two years. I travel to see her because she's worth it. I know that not only does she teach others her skills, but that continuing to learn to better help their clientele is the mindset of everyone on staff at Achieve.

It's Monday Jun 24,2019.11: 30 AM.

I visited this establishment to make some preliminary enquires re: Chiropractic treatment. The receptionist on duty continued to stare at her computer whilst I asked her some questions. I asked if it was customary to have your family doctor arrange for an Xray of your neck before booking an appointment for severe pain in that area. She mumbled something and I asked her to repeat. "You know I can't tell you that, " was her curt response. (Still looking at the computer.) I told her I didn't know that and she said I must speak to the chiropractor. The phone rang and she answered. I left due to her dismissive, rude attitude without enquiring further.

Tip. Please make eye contact when approached by a potential client or at least look in their general direction. And try to look less miserable.
I spent my life in the restaurant business. If I had someone like this person greet my customers, I wouldn't be in it very long. Perhaps a course in "Customer Relations, " would be applicable here.

Dr Shannon has been my chiropractor since spring 2017 and I am SO thankful to have found her. After a not so great first try at chiro at a different office, I was hesitant to try again but became desperate as my back pain became intolerable. I went from barely being able to walk without being in tears the first time I saw her to nearly good as new in such a short amount of time. Not only are her adjustments fantastic, her advice and knowledge is equally as important. She takes the time to show you exercises to do at home or at work and she really cares about her work. I really look forward to my maintenance sessions and always leave feeling 10x better then I did when I walked in the door! The receptionists are also super helpful, kind and professional. One of the best run clinics in the Greater Victoria area in my opinion!
