I would like to start by saying this review is for Dayna, and not specifically for Acupoint Wellness.

Dayna treated me in Edmonton from October 2020 until June 2022 for hormone balancing/fertility and stress management.
Infertility and miscarriage are very prominent within my family, and I wanted the best chance at conception. I heard that acupuncture could help, and like a sign, an Instagram story about Dayna's practice in Edmonton showed up in my feed. So I reached out to her, unsure what to expect as I was new to acupuncture. As it turns out, that was one of the best things I have ever done for my health. My husband and I had been trying to conceive for a while before I started to see Dayna with no success. In just over two months of treatments, I was pregnant. Unfortunately, I miscarried at 12 weeks along. I regularly saw Dayna (every two weeks) during this time, and I fully credit her treatments, and kindness, to how fast my body returned to baseline. The first month that we tried to conceive afterwards (5 months later), I was pregnant again. I saw Dayna throughout my entire pregnancy. She helped with my morning sickness, any back pain I had, pain I was experiencing from SPD, and low energy from growing a tiny human. She definitely helped make my pregnancy as painless as possible. Dayna is kind, knowledgeable, personable, and genuinely wants to help people, which makes her a joy to see for treatments. I sincerely recommend her, especially if you're a little unsure. If she was still in Edmonton, I would still be seeing her regularly. On that note, if I could afford to, I would come to Vancouver monthly just to see her.

I was able to get a booking last minute which seems to be impossible these days. Dayna is very professional and quite personable as well. Had a fun experience and of course my back/neck pain relived. Glad to find the place!

I have been treated by Dayna Mulkay on several occasions. I’ve gone for shoulder and neck pain, abdominal cramping and discomfort, and for a torn hamstring. Every time I have gone to see Dayna I have felt so much relief and comfort after our sessions. Dayna is always on time and is very diligent with her work. She really cares for her patients and it shows. If you were to see anyone for acupuncture or Chinese Medicine by 110% recommend you see Dayna. Love her and what she does for me!

Today I went to see Dayna who was a newer acupuncturist at Acupoint Wellness. What a lovely experience. Dayna was so friendly, made me feel very at home and was very thorough in her discovery questions and treatment for anxiety and hormones. Such great energy and I will definitely be back to book with Dayna - highly recommend you book with her.

Nora was exceptional. I went to her to experience the buccal massage to help release tension in my jaw and neck. She’s got incredible pressure and amazing energy. Definitely something to put on your wellness to do list.

Book the facial acupuncture with LED light therapy and make sure you add the GUA SHA lift! One of the best and relaxing experiences I’ve ever had. Cydney is 10/10.

First time patient here. I saw Dayna for motor point acupuncture and she was kind, caring and very professional. I have issues with chronic pain and I felt so much relief after treatment with her! I will be returning ️

Brandon was amazing and so thorough. I came to him with some specific requests to help my injured knees. He started by doing a general assessment looking at the knees, hips, range of motion, etc. During my treatment he continue to ask me questions, and assessed physically to further understand the causes of my issues and help me in my recovery. Afterwards, he proceeded to look at my stance, and a few other tells to give me the best tips for further exercise, stretching and massage/rolling out that I could do on my own. I couldn’t have asked for a better treatment.

Nora was so informative and genuinely cared about my health and well-being. I've only done one treatment so far and feel relief from my TMJ! Yeahhhhh

This year I’ve had the pleasure of receiving treatments from both Suka and Marshall (acupuncture and massage). I appreciate the very calm atmosphere in the space and the quality of treatments I’ve received. I would highly recommend the practice to anyone!

I usually see Suka but she didn't have availability. I still a wanted treatment so I booked with Alanna. Oh my goodness. It is exactly what my body craved! I'm 21 weeks pregnant and was feeling a bit rough - low energy and really not myself.

Alanna explained a few things to me (I'm a knowledge nerd so I love that she took the time to do this) and started the treatment. I fell asleep almost instantly and I woke myself up thinking I was at home and it was the weekend. When I left I felt so calm and yet so energized. I still feel so amazing hours later.

My First treatment for acupuncture with Suka was a great experience. Spa-like treatment. Relaxing and relieving! I suffer from tense lower back, elbow, and hand issues. Had acupuncture and cupping treatment. Will definitely continue treatments here to continue my recovery process. Thank you, Suka!

Really have enjoyed my massages from Marshall over the last 6 months or so. He has a unique style, informed by a wealth of knowledge, and is generous with his time and his energy. I’ll keep on coming back!

I strongly recommend Alanna Allan for acupuncture or reiki.
She is knowledgeable, empathetic, patient, and accommodating. I really enjoyed my session with her. She's a great person to see if you are new to acupuncture, anxious etc or struggle with mental health challenges. The value for services is 100% worth the cost.

The clinic location is clean, quiet, and private. The rooms are well equipped with music, appropriate lighting/temperature and aromatherapy products. The design of the space is calming, the wall colours were soothing and the sliding doors for rooms are very quiet. Also found the bed very comfortable and the linens were soooo soft. I left my session feeling physically and mentally well-rested for the first time in several years. The space itself is very conducive to relaxation and clearing your mind.

I’ve been holding a lot of tension to TMJ (I grind my teeth when I sleep), neck and shoulders. To complement my regular chiropractic treatments, I thought of seeking Nora’s expertise in osteopathy. I had the Cranial Facial Osteopathy and it was my first time. It was such a relaxing experience! The ambiance, the aromatherapy and Nora’s healing hands really set the tone for total relaxation. I immediately felt relief/tension release to my face, jaw, neck and shoulders after Nora’s treatment:) I would definitely come back again! Thank you Nora:)

First time trying acupuncture and I went to this clinic for some muscle spasms I’d had for two weeks. I saw Amanda, and the next day they were completely gone. 6 days out now and they haven’t come back. I also got to try cupping by her and it was a great experience. I saw Cydney for an appointment yesterday and she was awesome, she told me what she was doing and why. They really listen to your problem and find the best way to fix it. Would highly recommend.

I had my first osteopathy treatment last week and continued this week. I have had chronic TMJ problems and digestive issues which she has given me some treatments which made it so relaxing. She's very knowledgeable and also the staff are very friendly. I recommend her to anyone who might have had some issues that were not solved by western medicine. Overall atmosphere was also very clean and welcoming.:)

Every session with Suka is always the highlight of my week. I can’t compliment her enough, her compassion and professionalism are second to none. She genuinely cares about her patients and I am my most relaxed during and after my sessions with her. Even when having an ailment treated she always manages to heal my symptoms and my general state of mind. Can’t recommend her enough! My tense back feels amazing every time I see her but it goes beyond the reason for booking an appointment. It’s a peaceful experience all round. Been coming here every so often for a RMT massage with Marshall. I don't know how he does it but I fall asleep everytime and wakeup feeling refreshed minus the normal aches and pains. Bit of a tough location for parking but totally worth it.

I have seen a few different people at this clinic, and everyone that has treated me has been kind, professional and helpful. Most recently I've been seeing Nora for osteopath treatments and she is amazing - if the word is not already out yet, it should be.her hands her magical! She has a wealth of information and seems to know exactly what to do to get to the root of the problem.

Cyd is a fantastic acupuncturist! The clinic space is beautiful, and I left feeling relaxed and rebalanced.

I had a very relaxing massage therapy with Marshall Irons. We chatted about working in front of the computer and I actually considered my office to be pretty ergonomic, but he gave me some advice how to further improve it and I am so thankful for it. The massage pressure was adjusted, depending on the tenderness of muscles and I felt so much better after. Plus the whole Acupoint is such nice interior design - I bet most people feel relaxed by just entering this space.

This was my first experience with acupuncture and cupping and I had an incredible experience with Suka. She is so knowledgeable and kind. I went for stress/anxiety concerns and my body just slowed right down. I will be back that is for sure!

Marshall is such a knowledgeable individual. He gave me multiple advices regarding my health, explained some body mechanisms, and gave me a different perspective on how to maintain my lower back and live pain-free life. He is a true professional! After one massage my body feels incredibly relaxed and all the tension I had in my legs is gone.

I had numbness and tingling in both hands and arms for sometime. I tried physio/chiro/massage/acupuncture and only got temporary relief. After seeing Suka for a few treatments, I no longer have the tingling in my hands anymore. I can confidentially say Suka is the best acupuncturist in downtown Vancouver.

Acupoint really is the best space to truly heal and relax. I see Nora Shahbazi for Osteopathy who is absolutely amazing - she has healing hands and I instantly feel better afterwards, she always finds tension elsewhere that needs work for example i go in for my back issue but then she finds pain and tension in my jaw that needs work! - if you've never tried Osteopathy then do! Most insurances covers it in full. I also see Danzhu and Suka for Acupuncture which is amazing and works wonders on my back issues and find it relaxing. If you haven't tried Reiki, then the Reiki - Acupuncture with Alanna is unreal and helps my anxiety! Such a healing and relaxing experience. I can't wait until we can do the Healing Sound Baths again as i found that to be a unique experience (pre-covid!).

I go here for massage therapy and acupuncture. The practitioners are good at what they do and nice to chat to. The front end customer service staff are very welcoming and accommodating. I have to give extra kudos to Suka the owner. She practices traditional Chinese medicine acupuncture (that may be the wrong way to say it) and helps me with a lot more than muscle pain and stiffness. Suka has helped me with other health issues and I am pretty sure she cured me from a kidney infection or at least prevented it. Oh and the clinic itself is very modern and feels like a spa with tea and water etc. My only complaint is that I can't stay there and nap after my treatment:)

I have been going to this clinic since 2014, as I'm suffering from ongoing neck and back pain (car accident in 2000).

Suka is the practitioner who has been treating me since. She is great at understanding my needs, and I feel a lot better after each acupuncture session I have with her. She is able to release the tension in my neck, which did not occur after I went through chiropractors, massage therapists, and physiotherapists.

I also have been receiving B12 vitamin injections there, and they helped me improve my energy level.

I highly recommend acupuncture at this clinic.

I've been visiting Acupoint for two months now for some muscle issues I had on my neck, back and shoulders. The results are amazing and I won't stop going back. I had visited chiros and massage therapists with no actual results. Everyone recommends streching which I do, but I needed some "dire" relief since it affects me and my work. My therapist is Tracy and I would give her 6 stars out of 5 if I could! Thank you!

I have been treated by Jenna a few times but most recently went to get treatment for whiplash related symptoms. The clinic is clean and relaxing and has some unique teas and lotions you can't normally find elsewhere. Jenna found all my problem areas on her own and I received accupuncture and cupping. At the end of the session she put this cooling cream that helped my neck and shoulders relax even more. I will be back to see Jenna and get more sleep time tea!

This place is amazing when it comes to results. I have been bothered by severe neck and shoulder pain stiffness for many years. Tried numerous method like Dr-Ho’s pain therapy system, massage, magic bag…and got only temporary relief for very short time until I met Tracy in Acupoint Wellness Centre.

Tracy carefully listens to my history, and is fully engaged in the healing. She is very methodical in my questions and pin pointing the areas that cause me the most problems. She is very personable and caring in my treatments. She has made acupuncture a wonderful experience for me. I actually look forward to going and enjoying my time for treatments.

Traumatic experience at Acupoint. Tracy was providing my acupuncture and right away when i met her, i observed that she was anxious by the way she was short of breath and moving around quickly with hesitation making myself feel anxious and nervous. As we proceeded, she applied the needles and i found them very painful. I would inform Tracy that some of them didn't feel comfortable, she would respond saying "shhhhh" and tell me to calm down. From this response i didn't think i was heard and felt fear and nervous. I would have liked it if she would have explained why they hurt so much. After the session was done, she forgot to remove the needles from my feet. As i stood off the bed, i felt tremendous pain in my ankles. I called for help and she ran over and removed them without saying sorry. It's been 4 months now and there is now pain in my ankles when i think of it. Was a traumatic moment for myself and would recommend to proceed with caution. In Vancouver there are many acupunture companies to pick from with qualified and caring employees. I hope to save others from experiencing this, as acupuncture needs to be done with care and calmness to prevent a life time of nerve damage.
