On my 2nd visit to Sarah, I told her "You're My Hero". I'd been suffering from a pinched nerve in my neck/shoulder for weeks and 36 hrs after my first visit, my pain had decreased by 50%. I have my life back! It was stolen 2 years ago by chronic unexplained rectal pain that has stumped 10 doctors. I have tried an array of medication which only reduced my pain by 10-20 percent. I refused to give up and was tired of pills that didn’t work. A friend suggested I try acupuncture and I felt there was nothing left to lose.
I met Sarah, who was kind and understanding. She seemed to instinctively know exactly what I needed and got to work. The acupuncture was relatively painless and I was given some herbs to take home. I wasn’t a fan of the taste but could care less if it took away my pain.
After my first session, I knew I only had a few days till my worst pain day. I’ve always called it “my day of hell” where my pain is 9/10 and feels like I’m 6cm dilated giving birth to my son. I braced for the day and put on my brave face. The shocking surprise was my pain was greatly reduced by 70%! I could function at work and at home! This was manageable.
I feel there is hope now and I’m finally on a journey of healing. I can be a nurse, mom and wife without the dread of pain and unpredictably of pain.

I have been seeing Sarah for a few conditions over the years, she is very knowledgeable and caring.
Recently I booked an appointment for back pain. She gave me much relief after just one treatment.
Sarah also took the time to treat a large cyst that I was suffering from for 6 months. She took the time to treat the infection, it healed in one treatment, and the sever pain is gone. Now I don’t know how to tell the plastic surgeon I don’t need his help!

Sarah’s treatments are amazing! Within the first weeks of treatment I’ve already experienced great relief from my pelvic pain and female health issues, which have been an issue for me for over 7 years. I am currently getting weekly acupuncture treatments and have been using Chinese herbal medicine daily, this combination has really helped me. I used to have to rely on OTC pain relievers, but my intake of those have been significantly reduced as my symptoms are becoming less frequent and less intense over time. The acupuncture is a very relaxing and calming experience, Sarah takes her time and makes sure that you’re comfortable. Sarah is absolutely amazing. I came into the clinic with rather severe and chronic lower back/hip pain. She was the first practitioner that provided a longer term treatment plan. I go to her for treatment, not relaxation acupuncture and she is very up to the task.

I continue to go to her as it has kept my pain to a minimum by going for maintenance appointments.

I had a nagging nerve glide issue for about 18 months in my left arm/elbow. I tried various physio and massages.nothing worked. I visited Sarah at The Core and tried acupuncture. Best decision I ever made! Sarah treated the entire injury, not just the localized pain in my elbow. After two visits, the pain went away and my range of motion returned. I would recommend Sarah to anyone, she'll be my first call from now on!
