Lovely place for lunch. Food was tasty, service friendly & prompt. Plenty of outside seating, which worked great for us, as we had our dog with us.

The food was alright but very bland (which could be exactly what you're looking for) it was all cooked well though and presented nicely.

Service was great. Our waitress was very kind and attentive.

The location is very beautiful to look at front he outside but the inside is quite dated.

Great service and decent food. We all had the crab Eggs Benny. I would have preferred the poached eggs to be at least a bit runny, but they were full cooked. But the crab cakes were delicious. And the service was great.

We went early at the 730 opening time every day and the staff were always super friendly and helpful. The muffins right out of the oven were amazing - moist and flavorful. They have several gluten-free pastries available as well. Their cappuccino and latte offerings are really the best in the area. We did not stay for lunch, so I can't comment on those. The outdoor seating area is just gorgeous with the vines. It's so quiet and beautiful in the morning.

They have fantastic lattes. They were, “surprised” I paid with US dollars and I asked other places and they said cards are preferred. Staff in restaurant very knowledgeable about gluten-free preparation and items on menu that qualify.

Too bad there aren’t zero stars. Avoid this place if you can. Service was awful. Children’s menu ridiculous- sides of salad, soup potato salad for a small child? Tea to drink? Overpriced.

Would love to see some more interesting menu items for vegans other than a burger. Would also be nice to see cakes or cupcakes / high tea that is vegan friendly. Lovely patio but disappointing options.

Luncheon & Seafood entrees not generous but good with choice of salad or cup of potato salad for $20.

This is one of our fav stops when we come to Victoria. Great, hearty food served with a smile. Usually busy and can be noisy, but worth the stop.

This is the second time I have visited this establishment, and it will be the last. The food was good. The waitress I had was good. The waitress who I initially spoke to to ask if I should seat myself after ten minutes of standing waiting was horrid. She clearly took offense to me asking this and proceeded to harass me during my stay. She took pleasure in telling me I could not plug my cell phone in, she said it was a fire hazard… she explained nothing to me but smirked and walked away. It’s unacceptable behavior, especially for an older woman who should know better. This could be a great establishment but it is not warm and welcoming and I felt anxious the whole time I was there. Don’t put people out front that clearly are miserable.

Just so, so. Paid over 7.00 for a " medium" that was actually a small mug of stale coffee and what was a really tasty walnut muffin. The girl at the counter said I would have to pay for a full price refill even though I was an in restaurant customer. Maybe at least charge 1/2 or some kind of discount for a refill.

Food was delicious. Had the Turkey Cranberry Salad croissant and a cup of soup. Hit the spot. Atmosphere is great in the summer. It was chilly in the sunroom with the snow outside.

To start of the coffee was DE-LISH! (so was the cafe staff) this is where my glowing review severely dims due to the waitressing staff and WHOEVER MADE MY BAGEL.the waitress with the curly brown hair is truly a disgrace to the service industry.didn’t check or care to ask any questions about how we were doing or how the food tastes. My friends jam was rotten no doubt and let me tell you: under any circumstances do not order the smoked salmon bagel! A skimpy amount of cream cheese, causing dry patches. But just wait: all the vegetables were on one half and all the salmon on the other half! I had to reassemble my $ 21 MEAL.i didn’t order build-a-bagel SANDWICH.the veggies with ranch were the only thing edible… when we were finished (we left the plates full of food) no one asked if everything was alright! A different waitress with green ornament earrings SLAMMED our bill on the table and sashayed away without a word.we sat in confusion and misery for 25 minutes just waiting for a machine to pay and get the HECK out of there.we walked to the cafe to try and settle the bill and waited for another 10 mins before the curly headed waitress grabbed us to finally pay.didn’t say another word.what a ditz. To add it all up we were discussing our experience with a customer waiting for a table and she suggested we dine and dash to to how incompetent this establishment runs.burn in HE double hockey sticks!

Quality went down a lot over the last months. Milk shakes are so liquid like there is mostly just milk in there and a bit of ice cream to give a hint of flavor. There was a time not too long ago when a shake was mostly ice cream resulting in a more creamy than liquid shake. Very expensive little cup of flavored milk, same low quality every time over the last weeks when we tried it. Not worth it anymore.

Super overpriced for the most basic sandwich, they don’t even toast the bread. Worst sandwiches on the island

A lovely place in the Cordova bay. We had beni and fruits. Friendly staff, free parking. There is a golf club near the restaurant.

Cute little shop. We stopped in for a hot chocolate and their new honey latte. Very nice and relaxed atmosphere with a classic feel. Lovely pastries, treats, light snacks and sandwiches. The white raspberry tart was delicious and cute. The tiramisu was light and enjoyable. Service was friendly and quick.

This cool spot was suggested by locals and I couldn’t be more thankful! Loved the breakfast options.the food portion were good size and the service was great with a smile always! Definitely coming back again.

What's not to like? Turns out the answer is: quite a bit. Between the extremely watery coffee, the moderately-annoyed demeanor of the guy behind the counter, and the low quality of the products on offer for these prices (Dempster's bagels with cream cheese for $6? How about "no"), I can't imagine wanting to return. That said, it's a nice location.

Even with reservations they still do not have a handle on seating and checking QR codes. Our waitress was bristly.usually a great experience and staff. Covid has changed this business

Don't read too much into the snowflake millennial reviews that didn't feel they received enough attention & don't like having to pay. I've been in line with some of these princesses and they are demanding and rude. Adrienne's has always treated me well, and I've never felt disappointed with the service or the food. I order a sandwich and a chai latte pretty much every week at some time, and I'm always greeted with a smile, and a great lunch. They are busy so be patient. Their prices are on par or less than equivalent establishments, but this location is amazing.

Everyone was super pleasant, but this place seems short staffed and the servers were run off their feet. Food was overpriced. Service was good considering how busy it was but it was obvious the workers were stressed out.

This is a popular spot, but on more than one occasion our large group has felt unwelcome here. I understand their wish to service paying customers, but we are - were - paying customers too. I'd love to feel welcomed back.

I don't think I will ever come back ever at this place. We were waiting in line when a woman came up to us saying are you waiting for the dine-in or take out. We said we wanted take out. She then told us to follow her. But then a guy came to us, started yelling at us.we were so confused on what was happening as 1 person was saying something else and the other was saying something else. I will never come back to that place, as the people was rude. They should figure out how to greet people and have a better system and procedures for COVID - 19. The prices are extremely high, and the food isn't great. I went there, because I love the seating in the corridor. And I wanted to show my guest, how cool it was. Not only did they leave a ugly first expression to my guest, my guest will never want to go back again.

The food is okay but the prices are ridiculous for what you get. $13 for a kid’s “tea plate”, which includes half a sandwich (no crusts), a few small pieces of fruit and a piece of cake. My 7yo was still hungry after. It’s hardly any food at all for a crazy price and half of it is dessert. My Caesar salad was decent but nothing special. Boxed croutons! And I had an Italian soda that $6! In a small glass. It’s water and syrup. Haha how do they get away with that? I’m still shaking my head. Guess this place is for tourists? There are so many better and less expensive places to go in Victoria so we won’t be dining here again. The patio is nice and the server was pleasant.

Servers are great! However the person emptying the trash bins outside was less than gracious toward us as we arrived and whined about where our ebikes ought to be parked. She wanted us to go find the bike tracks that are nowhere to be seen from the outside seating area. When I suggested to my husband that we go elsewhere, she said I was rude. Wow. Not my greatest experience

Nice atmosphere and setting. The breakfast sandwich was decent but the cheese tasted cheap and the decaf coffee tasted like it had been sitting on a shelf for a long time.

Adrienne's at Mattick's farm is s great lunch destination. It retains a quaint, teahouse atmosphere but offers complete lunch menu. They have an open patio and observe good Covid practices.

My husband and I went here with the intention of having high tea. When we asked about it the waitress was so rude and made us feel really uncomfortable. I've never left a restaurant because of service before, but we ended up leaving before ordering in pure shock.

My boyfriend and I went out for lunch here, I ordered the beyond burger and he got a regular burger. We ended up getting served 2 tuna sandwiches. The waitress picked up the bun with her hands to check the inside then proceeded to hand it to an elderly table that ordered it. I was pretty shocked she touched the food and then delivered it for the customers.especially during the pandemic.our order FINALLY came after waiting an hour and the gave me a dressing I told them I couldn’t have (I’m vegan) and the waitress didn’t say anything after I told her about the dressing and after half an hour came back with a new one.that also had dairy in it after I had to ask AGAIN. Such a horrible place to stop in for a bite to eat.

This is a wonderful little jem of a place. The chowder was top notch and the server we had, Candace was amazing. Highly recommend.

Haven’t been here in close to a decade but decided to order some brunch for takeout today and this was the only place close-ish to me open later than 2pm, so props for that. Host on the phone was friendly, cashier at the cafe pickup seemed to have a bit of an attitude. Food was tasty though nothing that would blow you out of the water. No prices listed for menu items online which is very strange, and the food was a bit overpriced at $18 for eggs Benny for what you get.

Beautiful Setting, Scrumptious High Tea, Service could be better.

Yesterday afternoon (Sunday, Sept. 20th) was the second time that my friend and I treated ourselves to High Tea. What a spectacular day - brilliant late summer sunshine and a bit of autumn in the air. Perfect for our regular bike ride from Swartz Bay Ferry Terminal to downtown Victoria and back.with enough time to stop for High Tea on the patio at 3: 00 pm. As expected, the hot tea was refreshing and the array of finger food was delicious - more than enough for two hungry cyclists.
Our server was friendly and attentive.but, in hindsight, I wish she had been a bit more genuine. We regret that our "special request" to separate the vegetarian dishes from those containing meat (ham) was an inconvenience to you and your staff. Perhaps the next time you wish to "bad mouth" your patrons to fellow kitchen staff, you'll want to keep it to a whisper.yes, that's right.we did overhear your conversation.we are sorry that "it gets worse, they actually want the meat sandwiches served on a separate plate from the vegetarian. "
Oh well, I suppose one can't have everything.perhaps we'll stop at the Empress for High Tea next time!?

We ate outdoors in this time of Covid. Food is always good with very nice bakery items. They have become an old favourite.
