I had an amazing experience with this clinic! All the front office staff were very helpful and friendly. After reading all the negative reviews I felt quite concerned about my appointment and as soon as I walked in I was relieved. I can't say enough about Dr. Anand! So kind, gentle, and an wonderful listener.

My Dr is Sarah-Jane Anand which is great but the clinic is a mess. Every time that I have come my appointment is never on time, normally I wait for an hour which, if they know that the Dr is behind schedule they should contact the patients as this takes more time and sometimes people comes from faraway or from work. This is horrendous customer service on their behalf.

I was referred to Dr. Lalani regarding a prolonged issue that he was able to quickly assess and referred me for minor surgery at Lions Gate Hospital. This fixed the problem and ultimately improved my life ten fold. I cannot express in words my gratitude. He is a fantastic physician and incredibly kind and knowledgeable.

Waited months for an appointment after a referral to get my IUD removed, after waiting months to have the appointment scheduled I had to wait again for a TELEPHONE APPOINTMENT of which the doctor didn’t show up and no new appointment was scheduled with me. I ended up getting a referral to a different specialist and got an appointment (in person) and my procedure done in less than a week of the referral. Now months later again, this clinic has set up a telephone appointment without my consent or approval for a procedure I have now already had done with a note that if I no show the call I will be charged $150. What a joke.

Really bad experience came to see dr julie wood. My wife has been 3 months pregant and all the ultrasound, tested from Hospital was stated that our babe is getting to a safe spot. But Here is the problem with dr Julie Wood:

We came into the office, and the 1st thing she ask is " you still have a baby" i was like " what the heck is that questionaire, instead of saying hi or welcome or how you feeling, doing; she just asked a really rude question at 1st.

2nd problem is that when she inserted the Gynecologic speculum she did it very strong and impatient that hurt my wife and cause bleeding after that, after a couple hours went home, my wife started feeling pain and bleeding really bad that i had to drove her to Emergency.

To Dr Julie wood, this is my opinion that you should've know that Asia is not the same as Caucasian, and should be more patient and carefully when dealing with a serious problem to Asian mom.

My wife has miscarriage after the day we seen you cause of bleeding very bad after.

I was notified to have an appointment at but the doctor did not call me for hours and kept me waiting. The receptionist was not responsible either. If I missed the call, I would be asked to pay a 150 CAD fine, but what about doctor missing my appointment? Horrible experience.

This has to be the worst clinic in this city I have been waiting for a call from them for over 7 months, my referral got expired and now I have to request new one. I called them and they not even pick up their phone and left voice mail them I sent email with nobody call me schedule my appointment, no emails, nothing.
Avoid going to this clinic and look for different options.
What happen if you get cancer and you find out about it when there is not cure. Not even thirth world country has this kind of problems.

Juno, The receptionist to Julie Woods is horrendous at her job and should be fired. She never ever answers the phone and twice she has given me incorrect test results. She is extremely condescending to deal with and makes you feel stupid for being frustrated at her inability to do her job. If I could give 0 stars I would, I will be asking my doctor to refer me to a different clinic. I would be dead by the time these people told me there is something to worry about.

I wish, I could rate them below zero, i feel so stupid that I didn’t read the reviews before choosing this clinic, My wife has thyroid & she is pregnant for 7 months, the office has received the report 4 days back and they are not answering any calls, my wife is run out of pills, and the phone machine is answering Is Jessica is not available at office, Feeling so frustrated, wow!

Originally had a really good initial appointment with Dr. Wood, but after they found out I can't go see the other OB they referred me to, they have completely ghosted me. 31+weeks pregnant and I no longer have an OB and can't get anyone to return my calls. Would never recommend this clinic to anyone.

Haven’t even been in for my appt.and my experience is already horrible. Nobody calls you back for anything when it’s already hard enough to reach them. Called so many times and left messages but nothing. If I could actually give 0 stars I would.

If I could give Dr. Anand 10 + stars I WOULD! This professional, compassionate and kind doctor goes above and beyond for her patient's - entire care. I went in very concerned and came out optimistic! The front staff, also kind and friendly. Thanks to you all.

Dr. Lalani was nice but his receptionist is rude as fox. She gives EVERY patient attitude. Seriously, if she hates working there so much why not just quit? This receptionist is ruining the nice doctor’s reputation.

While I really enjoy Dr Anrand, the clinic leaves the lunch time message on long after 1pm, her assistant does not pick up the phone and I have been trying to get through for two weeks now with no luck. I am currently calling hourly in the hopes someone will pick up. At this point I am ready to ditch her and see a different gyno.

Dr. Dunn is amazing, caring and very professional. Her assistant who answers her phone calls, however, is the most rude and unprofessional person I have ever come across. I read all the reviews and no one is happy from such an assistant but I dont why they still have her on this position. This is the 4th day I keep calling for Dr. Dunn in different times but I wasnt able to talk to her assistant and if by any chance she picks the phone her will ruin your whole day.

Dr Marie Blaine lacks compassion. Had extremely traumatic experience at this women’s clinic. BEWARE!

Worst clinic! If you get referred to this clinic ask your family doctor to send you elsewhere. They are rude and highly unprofessional. Never value your time you sit and wait in the lobby for so long for your appointment. I called and asked for an appointment she never called back and when I called again to confirm it she said doctor Julie is still busy I'll let you know. Nobody called back ever!

Dr. Muir is AMAZING, she is always on time, always professional and kind. I would give 5 stars, but the office management here is less than awesome. But Dr. Muir is the best!

Dr Anand is worth all the time we have to wait, the best obstetrician I know. Knowledgeable and human. Had my second baby with her and couldn’t be happier.

Dr. Evelyn Dunn is, hands down, the best OBGYN I've ever seen in my life. I've had an enormous amount of pelvic problems over the course of the last decade, so have seen a huge number of gynecological specialists. Dr. Dunn actually listens to her patients & takes their concerns seriously. She is well informed, empathetic & genuinely seems to care about her patients.

Doctor Wood is great! I'm giving my star to her. But the assisting team is horrible. It's absolutely impossible to get through to talk to anyone there. No one picks up the phone, or all lines are taken, or they simply close before hours. Seriously if you need to talk to them you have better luck doing it in person than over the phone.

On the worst snow day I had to plan ahead and took a taxi all the way for the appointment and told that I got rescheduled without notice. The front desk doesn’t give any explanation just said “Idk” and told me to contact the doctor’s assistant when god knows when they’d be in the clinic again.

Dr Wood is one of the kindest, most compassionate practitioner I’ve ever been to. You would be seriously lucky to have her as your doctor.

Apparently the patient's time is not as valuable as the doctors.

We have an appt at 1: 30pm. We ended up coming in early as my last appt was in Burnaby Hospital which is a few minutes walk to the clinic. Literally came in 40 mins earlier.

1: 31pm later.a minute later.i came in to the front desk and asked how long will be the wait or if there is any delay. Receptionist of Dr. Woods told me with an attitude that its only been 1: 31pm.fine fine a minute later.but time check 1: 45pm asked us to go inside the room and last time check 2: 15pm later we still not assisted.

I get it FREE HEALTHCARE but then its annoying whenever a Patient doesnt come on time.you give us attitude and make us wait more. But if the Dr.is running late.you guys still give us attitude for asking how long more is the wait!

We decided to leave as we have a hospital appt afterwards. Dr.woods only came to us then when they saw us leaving to tell us they are running behind.

I mean i get it.but the Patient time matters too!

Apparently the patient's time is not as valuable as the doctor's. Two times to this clinic and two times have not been seen by the doctor because he's on call and leaves. It is of no concern to the staff at the clinic that the drive in for the appointment is over an hour. Booking appointments and no guarantee the doctors going to be there is not ok.

Terrible, Dr Evelyn Dunn was the worst. Doesn't listen, terrible interaction methods, thinks she's right without even half of the details, doesn't even try to explore what could be going on. Tries to prove you wrong when you're explaining your issues and the list goes on. Prime example of why health care can be so frustrating at times.

I saw Dr. Wood and she was a good doctor!
I have seen her twice, for an initial appointment and one follow up.
She told me to book another follow up appointment after a couple months.

When I called the office to book my next follow up appointment they told me that I could not book another appointment as referrals expire after 6 months.

No one told me that I am only allowed to see the doctor within a 6 month period. I am very disappointed that I will not be allowed to follow up with my doctor and now it will take me a very long time to book an appointment with my gp to refer me back to the doctor and be put on another waitlist. I am having complications with the medication prescribed by Dr. Wood and now it may take 6 months or more to see her again.

HI kinda confused as to why when im calling just now at 330pm im being redirected to an automated message that your office is closed? !? I need to confirm an appointment that you guys called me for and now i have to wait for the weekend to pass? I have seriously never heard of MEDICAL OFFICE shutting down 30 mins earlier than closing time. You guys arent a restaurant so whats the deal?

Dr. Anand is fabulous, super kind and nice, knowledgeable. I promise, you are in good hands if she is your on/gyn.
Staff at the clinic are also nice.

Went here a few years back. The doctor tried to push me to get an IUD as a solution to mild menstrual cramps. When i told her no on religious grounds and a trepidation towards hormonal contraception based on previous experience, she argued and tried to talk me into it. Suffice it to say, i never came back.

Doctor cancelled my appointments twice, without even a 1/2 hr notice. Appointments always lasted just a few minutes, because the doctor seemed to always be in a rush. They did not remove my polyp and my endometriosis was completely ignored. I went back to my GP and asked for another referral to the Pelvic Pain and Endometriosis Clinic, which is supposed to take 9-12 months to get an appointment. Less than 3 months later I already seen the doctor, they have done a complete exam, booked my surgery in 2 weeks and worked out a pain management plan. Best experience I had seeing a doctor in BC.
Don’t waste your time here, there’s doctors that actually care at other clinics.

Dr. Dunn. No words for her.nice, excellent.words are very small for her. Great personality.great human being.super helpful.she really took great care of my wife.

I was referred to Dr. Wood by my GP because I needed an Gyno. My experience was fine. She did a biopsy, put in blood work requests. When her front desk staff gave me the blood work order, they failed to tell me that I had to make sure i went for the blood on certain days of my cycle- no one explained that to me until I went to life labs. Waste of my time & delayed blood work.

Received a voice message from Dr.wood 3 wks later stating she would like me to call the office to book a phone consult or come in to discuss my bloodwork. I called the office not even an hour later and spoke to her "medical assistant"; I explained I received a message from dr. Wood and her instructions. She's says to me in the most condescending voice: didn't you know you had an appt for a phone consult with her today?
Me: um no. No one informed me of this.
MOA: well never mind - she'll call you tmrw the same time.
Me: wait. Can you tell why i wasn't informed that I had an appt today? If it's important enough to get a call from the dr. I'm assuming it's pretty important to my health. She is aware I am leaving town soon.
MOA: sigh. Its just bloodwork and she'll call you tmrw around the same time. Good bye.
I hear her saying "what the hell" just as she hangs up on me.

The next day, I call in the morning to see if I can speak to dr. Wood. Goes to MOA's voice mail and I don't bother leaving a message because.well, why bother?
I DO NOT receive a call from Dr. Wood. I'm hoping it's not life threatening. I will definitely be warning my GP's office about referring other patients to this clinic.

I am an MSW - I have worked in hospitals & with community health clinics. This clinic is borderline negligent & an insult to the medical profession. If you are referred here, ask for another referral elsewhere.
