Very pleased with their service. Have been using them for years and never hesitate to recommend them.

I had my front brake pads, rotors, and calipers replaced in August 2021 and was informed by another company in August 2023 when I got my tires rotated that the rotors were warped and the brake pads were already worn to 3 mls. I had Affirdable double check this and was told that it's normal for brakes to only last two years. However, my last two sets of brakes lasted five years on the same small car and the rotors didn't need replacing. In fact, I've only driven 25,000 km in the two years. Since Affirdable only gives a 1 year warranty, I'm stuck with paying for another set of brakes and rotors and I certainly will be going somewhere else that doesn't use inferior parts.

Addendum to this. Sam, the manager of Affordable phone me today and told me that the employee I spoke to is no longer there and he made a mistake. Napa admitted that they had a problem with their brake pads, at the time I had them installed and that was causing rotors to warp. Both companies are supplying new parts for free and Affordable is supplying the labour for free. Great customer service, in the end! Make sure you follow up on issues, folks.

Took my car here because the check engine light came on. They charged me 150$ to run it through a code scanner and told me it was a converter problem but would be fine to drive. My car broke down on the road an hour later.

When I came back to ask for a partial refund the boss was very condescending, and told me there was nothing he would have seen and it must be unrelated. I took it to another shop down the road and they found the problem in five minutes (throttle body was dirty, they cleaned it and it was fixed in thirty minutes). If you are looking for a place with integrity and especially if you are a woman I would highly recommend that you avoid going here.

These guys were professional to deal with and honest with the repairs that needed to be done. They had my car in and out quickly and efficiently and stayed true to their estimates provided. Also, handing me other estimates for future work needed. I felt like I could trust the quality of work they completed. Very happy to find a good shop to take my car to!

Scammers. How can you plug in a code reader and charge $200 for. And then have a vehicle break down shortly after leaving. Did you even look with your eyes at anything? Or just plug a little gadget in and call it a day. There’s no way that it just broke down out of nowhere. This is why it was brought in. Then the audacity to mansplain a catalytic converter and say there was nothing you could have done to know there was something wrong with the car.

Looked this place up and chose to give them a call for quotes based on other good reviews. After fiddling around with the car (clutch issues), I shared some results with the owner and he told me not to worry that he would be thorough. Clutch was slipping because of a failing master cylinder (pedal very close to the ground) and a broken clutch spring. After I replaced the spring, the clutch wasn't slipping. He was going to bleed my clutch master and slave cylinder, but couldn't get the pedal to build pressure. Instead of costing me a whole new clutch assembly, flywheel, slave cylinder etc, these guys figured out it was just the master, replaced it and tested it. Boom, car drives like a beaut again and it cost me 1/3 of the anticipated cost. Thank you affordable Auto. We will be doing business again!

Had a truck towed here for a second opinion. Sam was quick to look at it, very friendly. Didn’t charge me anything for the diagnostics and presented me with two options…one was a different shop completely even getting a quote from that shop for me. If your looking for an honest place to have your vehicle worked on this is it!

I got my brakes replaced by affordable in 2020. Shortly after I went to the Nissan dealership for a yearly maintenance and was advised the brakes were not installed correctly and that the brake pad was wearing unevenly and that only one screw was placed and one screw was missing. They advised this is a major issue and asked me to contact you guys to fix it. I contacted you again and you got me in to fix this issue. I then got my maintenance done again at Nissan Infiniti the following year and have been advised that the brakes have not been placed properly still and that the brake on the right side back wheel is not effective. The hub cap on that wheel was also removed at affordable auto and not placed back. I called to ask about it once I noticed it was missing and was advised it was not there. I am very disappointed that after spending just under a grand the job was not done right. Infiniti advised me to ask for a refund for the service as I had to get the brake pads replaced again. Extremely disappointed.

Outstanding service. I showed up without notice and they fixed my busted starter in the same day. Price was also very good. I highly recommend getting your car fixed here.

My almost 20 year old Xterra was making some pretty weird noises. Affordable made some repairs/wielding to the exhaust system for under $200, and Xterra is back to normal. Thanks guys!

Took my car in to get the wipers fixed, did a good job and even cleaned the inside of my windshield! They go above and beyond! Will go back if I run into any further issues
