I had a wonderful experience at Afrina beauty club. I visited Afrina for the first time after my friend recommending the place. I can't say how happy I am to have found this place in north van.all the therapists professional and welcoming.

I just wanted to say a huge thanks to dear Rezvan for the amazing job she did on my hair by kératine. The end result was exactly I had envisioned, and I couldn’t be happier with how my hair looks now. Not only did Rezvan do a great job with the style, but she also made the whole experience enjoyable and relaxing. She was so friendly and easy to talk and I really appreciated her professionalism and attention to detail. I was originally gonna get highlights but unfortunately all the top rated salons in Vancouver I went to rejected to bleach my hair due to the box dye I used two years ago and a keratin treatment I got about a year and a half ago, which is ridiculous. I get my nails done here at Afrina by Ghazal and she does an absolutely wonderful job each time. So I decided to get my hair dyed here as well. Rosa was the one taking care of me and she was the best. She made sure to follow every step possible to reduce any damage and my highlights turned fantastic! Would definitely go back for my roots.

After trying out many places, I finally came across Afrina Club, did not know there is a club offering beauty, spa & health services under one roof. LOVE IT!

They now have a customer FOR LIFE! I've never met a hairstylist that knows hair as much as Kathleen does from giving recommendations to being able to actually cut and style the hair that is asked. I am very thankful that our paths have crossed! Highly recommend Afrina and Kathleen for haircuts and hairstyles!

One of the best experience I've had with haircuts in a long time! The hair stylist cuts your hair exactly to the vision that you wanted. Extremely satisfied! I would definitely go Afrina again!

I have been going to Afrina Beauty and Spa Club since their Grand Opening and it’s my favorite place to get my nails done! Being born and raised in North Vancouver I’ve been to a lot of places, and none compare to this place. Everywhere else I’ve gone my gel nails last about 2 weeks, but since I started coming here my nails last about 1 1/2 to 2 months depending on my activity and usage of my nails. The staff is super sweet, and they offer complimentary herbal tea which I think is super sweet! I get my nails done with Ghazal & Negin and I love them so much! Recently It was my birthday and the ownerZiba was super sweet and bought me a cake with candles as a congratulation! My mother and grandma other also come to get there nails done here. My grandmother is obviously older and really sensitive about who works on her feet. Every single time I get my nails done I’m always complimented on how pretty the designs/art are. This isn’t a place to come quick to get your nails done, they do take a while but it’s because they take their time on what they are doing. And personally I’d rather have someone take a while and do my nails correctly than rush through it and it falling off two weeks after. They do work on an appointment basis, you can do walk it but it might take you longer to be seen and it’s not always guaranteed to be seen which is why it’s better to schedule an appointment. Whenever I come I always scheduled an appointment a week in advance, in the event I can’t make it i can always communicate to the club about rescheduling. 10/10 recommend!

I've been visiting Afrina for over a 3 months now, and my general experience has been exceptional. The Nail Technicians are extremely skillful, all of them are detailed, creative and professional. They also provide excellent customer service if you have any problems with your nails afterwards. I'd definitely recommend Afrina beauty Club & Spa if you are looking for a best place for manicures and beauty.

Fatima did my brows and my lash line. She also did my mom’s brows, which needed correction after 10+ years of having them microbladed somewhere else. I would definitely recommend Afrina Beauty Club to anyone looking for permanent makeup. Btw, Amy is awesome!

They are really responsive and relaxing. Fatima did such an amazing job on my eyebrows and I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking to improve their brows! She is truly phenomena.

Love this place! I have probably tried every single service here possible ha ha. I love all of the providers - they are all super experienced, helpful, patient, and know what they’re doing. The Afrina Club itself is super clean and gorgeous. I do my routine hair removal here and routine facials. I don’t see a specific provider, I truly love and trust them all. Everything is overseen by the managers & Owner so I feel comfortable seeing each provider knowing that.
I will always recommend Afrina Beauty club and Spa - follow them on Instagram, you can see their clients’ feedback. 10/10!

I got my eyelash extensions done with Mahta last week and I absolutely love them! Mahta was very friendly, she asked me questions to understand the length and the volume I want and gave me exactly what I wanted. After she was done with my lashes, she went through the after care with me so that my beautiful lashes last longer. It’s been almost a week now and they still look fabulous

THE BEST! …. Look no further for your hair and makeup needs for your wedding. Afrina team was wonderful to work with. It was not the cheapest hair and makeup I found in doing my research but you get what you pay for. I would much rather pay a little more and get the wonderful customer service I got from Afrina Club and the little extra touches like the makeup to-go kit. Definitely look no further for your hair and makeup needs. Seriously, stop reading this and pick up the phone right now and book for your wedding/event. They are the BEST!

This is an absolutely amazing hair salon. It is clean cute and the whole staff is friendly. The first time I went was my first time ever getting a curl cut (with Hena). She was amazing! These cuts really do make a difference! I notice my hair grows faster and stays healthy longer. I have already gone back once and have my next appointment booked for July! Thank you Afrina!

I really dont get it why ppl write bad review lol i feel like they dont deserve this luxury and gorgeous Beauty & Spa Club at all lol (I’ve not seen such a complete and professional salon in the entire Greater Vancouver after 20 years of living in Vancouver) i’ve been customer for here almost 4 months i love their style, atmosphere and vibe, employees are all professional and warm ppl

My friend and I had appointments to get our hair done today. The appointment was at 12: 30. We arrived 10 minutes early. We both just wanted some easy curls, and I wanted a blowout so no hot tools needed. My friend didn’t want her hair washed but they insisted to wash it. We left the salon at 2: 50. We had a wedding to go to and we’re late to the wedding. We had 2 girls each working on our hair. It was so pathetic and after TWO AND A HALF HOURS getting our hair done, it looked horrible. My hair is so crunchy because of the sprays they used I have to wash it again tomorrow. I left the salon with the front of my hair curled in pins because i had ZERO volume. All I asked for was a simple blowout and they curled my hair for an hour and a half with tiny little curls covered in hair spray. I had to go hone and fix it for 30 minutes before the wedding. It was the worst hair experience of my entire life. Extremely disorganized and disappointing.

Excellent relaxation massage. The place is so clean and calm. Also, all the staff are super friendly and professional. Very relaxing. I would recommend Afrina club definitely.

I am writing this review as a follow up to my previous review. I heard both good and bad thing about this Salon on Social Media (More good things though, lol) I finally made it to Afrina Club for the first time and I have to say the experience Superseded my expectations. Staff are super professional and truly care about how clients feel when they are there and after.very accommodating as well. Bahar did my keratin/Brazilian blow dry and she did a great job. Very sweet and patient. She is also very knowledgeable about hair. My hair looked and continues to look very good after 5 days.and Negi (I hope I spelled her name right), the receptionist, was very hospitable and asked every client if they wanted coffee, water or tea or any food (there is a full service cafe inside the salon, so cool). Very much willing to make sure one felt good being in that salon and I sure did. And one more thing I MUST mention, is that I have done this treatment in many different salons and cities in the past and I am Super impressed that they do this treatment so different and more professional. Absolutely adore this place! I started seeing Fatima at Afrina for lash lifts, which I never knew I needed until I gave it a try. The lift just made me look brighter and more awake, so feminine. Then I started asking Fatima about facial treatments and WOW, Karina, another specialist at Afrina, has transformed my skin. I am constantly getting compliments on my skin since I started different skin treatments at Afrina. I’ve also seen Marjan for Lash extension and after seeing her client’s microblading before and after pics I am really considering getting my brows done too. This place is great for people who value natural beauty just want a little boost. Highly recommend!

I’ve been getting laser hair removal here every 3 weeks and have gone for 2 sessions now. I bought the full body package and so far the progress is amazing (and I have coarse thick hair + brown skin). The staff is super nice and very thorough plus it’s clean and sterile inside. I’ve heard laser horror stories about other places and this is my first time ever doing laser, so I’m VERY glad I chose this place based on my friends' recommendations. Contributing to confirm— it is great! So worth it and wayyy less painful + more long lasting than waxing

I love Afrina! Before coming here I had no clue how to properly take care of my curls! Katrine gave me the best curl education and continues to help my hair grow and look amazing! I have never gotten so many compliments/questions about my hair since i started coming her about a month ago! My curls are the prettiest and healthiest they have ever been and i highly recommend coming here if you have curls! The whole atmosphere is inviting and welcoming!
