They charged too much for really bad hair service the two times I went there. Never going back!

I booked a appointment waited over a hour just to get started and there was no one there for me to wait that long. The employee's were all there? Just talking on the phone

Super hyped on how my braids feel and look. They welcomed me in and were able to fit me in today to help me refresh my 1 week old fuzzy braids and fixed all the imperfections for me, They also hooked me up with some great products as well and were very informative! Definitely coming back to get braids done again, great team and definitely recommend!
sure the place i went to before was super ideal because they were super close by but even though it was quite a commute to get there, the extra few km commute was definitely worth it

I’ve been purchasing wigs from Afro Hair Studios for a couple months now, the most pleased i’ve been within quality of the hair - as well as the customer service i received! Everyone there is so welcoming & loving!

Dropped in for a urgent hair cut and style because Nanu hair salon failed to show to fulfill my appointment.

They were super gracious and accommodating. The service was exceptional and the cut amazing.

Had two braids done at the Granville location, lovely, kind staff, gorgeous comfortable salon and for someone that hates sitting in a chair too long, very fast, fashionable hairstyle!

️This is the best salon in Vancouver no question about it. My friends came and got new dreadlocks done and the job was unbelievable! I have been here a few times for braids and to get my weave done. They have the best costumer service, the stylist are so talented and the Salon offers every service possible. They have every product, every human hair extension and wigs too. The best! ️

When I walk outta there I feel like a new person. I've been going here for a while and really like the ppl here. Sure we have had miscommunications (rarely) but we figure it out and I still get the results I wanted with great service. Feels like a second home. I also like that they hire diverse stylists.

My hairdresser Cheesh was so nice. She took care of me so well. Not just her but the whole team made sure that my hair was presentable and to my liking

Was nervous about having my self-maintained locs serviced for the first time. Could not be happier with the outcome and experience! Mary was so kind and fun, she worked fast and we shared laughs and thoughts on a lot of topics. Her colleague Satomi (sorry if misspelled) came in to help with the process as well, and was also really pleasant. The girls there are very talented and know what they're doing. They worked so quick while making the experience really warm and fun. It was also extremely affordable for how much work they put into my hair. Can't recommend this place enough! Thank you guys so much for cleaning my hair up!

I booked for braids for a Christmas party super last minute and she was able to make time for me, I love how they turned out, I will be coming back for extensions soon

Amazing work! Went back for my 3rd time and they knocked it out of the park again! Couldn't be happier with the results!:)

Braiding boot camp!
I am a licensed hairstylist with many years of experience but i wanted to make sure my braiding techniques were up to date. I took 24 hours of intense training, updating my skills. She corrected my hand positioning which helped me relax and not get sore shoulders from braiding and it has helped with my speed. We also did Box braids, single braids, twists, flat twists, weaves crocheted hair and much more. Emy and her team were all lovely and very good teachers. I enjoyed spending time in the shop. It’s also a great place to but hair and wigs. So much selection. They recently opened a wig shop a few stores down. Thanks again

I love my Nano hair extensions from Afro Hair Studio, they look so natural and Emy has been so helpful in answering all my questions and explaining my best options for extensions!

I am not the person when it comes to sharing my experience for others to read but ive never felt so upset than i did when i got home to actually see the awful service that was rendered to me! The lady who did my braids was really sweet and has a friendly/welcoming look but the service was bad! As if that wasn’t bad enough…

the barber - thinking about my experience right now is so sickening!
1.the barber didn’t give me a clean shave, 2.he totally messed up the proportion of my beard with a terrible lineup.i won’t really care so much about my hair but you see, my beard? I don’t joke with it and the barber actually made me so upset at myself to the point that it made a tear dropped out of my eyes! It was my first time there but def my last!

Emy did a full head of highlights for me and did an amazing job! The whole process with her and the rest of the Afro hair studio team was super comfortable and the outcome was fantastic! I would highly recommend to everyone if you’re looking for high quality hair services!
